Long-distance move from Colorado to South Carolina

Good company.

Well I recieved my delivery a few days ago. And after unpacking everything arrived safe and sound with no damages. The movers did a great job. I was really impressed with the way the truck looked when it arrived. THE TRUCK LOOKED LIKE THEIR WEBSITE with graphics and detail.. I really could not be happier. Anyone looking for a company call Andrew he was also fantastic.

Long-distance move from Arizona to Colorado

Moving and storage in two location.

Initially contracted with First Call Movers who guaranteed they would select reliable moving company to move and store our furniture in climate controlled facility since we did now have a house yet and wanted to keep our furniture and art work out of the Arizona heat. Liberty Relocation ( Stan) contacted me with the promise the movers would arrive on July 23rd.  They ( Viscaly and his crew) did not arrive until 4:30 p.m. on the 24th and stayed until 11:30 p.m. packing that night.  They return on our closing date (7/25)at 11:00 a.m., a day late, and did not finish packing until 4:30 p,.m. that afternoon. The new owners had already taken possession of the house and had to wait for the movers to finish. Viscaly told me they would move the furniture into storage until I arranged to have it delivered in Colorado.  I paid the company for two motnhs storage.  In September, the company called and asked me if they could deliver the furniture.  I sitll had not found a house to buy and told them 'no.  Without my knowledge, they moved the fruniture from a storage facility in Phoenix to a storage facility in Denver. When we closed on our house, we asked them to guarantee delivery between October 1st - October 3rd. They arrived on October first.  Items of furniture were broken, scratched or missing.  For example, they lost the table legs to our $1200 dining room table.  Boxes were crushed and the contents broken, both bedroom sets were scratched and a we found a hole in the back side of our entertainment center.  What's more, our 8 'ladder was missing, the fertilizer spreader was gone and as indicated on the bill of lading, we were missing 15 boxes. After they brought me a set of table legs that were not ours, I personally called the storage facility in Phoenix and in Denver.  Both storage units used by the company were empty and NEITHER ONE WAS A CLIMATE CONTRALLED ENVIRONMENT. Two months of futile searching for our missing items failed to locate anything.  They did deliver a broken mirror, but it belonged to someone else. Thankfully, I had taken out a $100,000 insurance policy with Bakers Insurance.  Items in missing boxes have been identified, but the original ones have not been returned.  Although items can be replaced, we mostly miss sets of family pictures, signed copies of first edition books and personal items. We have not had communication with Liberty Relocation or any of its agents since we reported the loss to the insurance company.  Even theinsurance gave up trying to find our missing items and compensated us for a percentage of the value of the lost items. I am disappointed in the lack of responsibility, incompetent service and poor integrity I experienced working with Liberty Relocation.  Good business practices would have called for a representative of the company to stay in contact with us as we searched for the missing items. Nobody even took the time to apologize for the problem. Instead, they cashed our check for the move and ended further contact.  Not a quality company. .

Long-distance move from Colorado to Georgia

Liberty was a good choice.

I work for a company that keeps me moving from state to state. This is my third move in the past yr and Liberty Relocation is moving me for the 2nd time. I can really depend on liberty to come and save the day. Giving them a 3 day notice they still managed to make it to my house on time with little time to spare they wrapped, packed and load my one bedroom apartment. I had to put my items in storage for two weeks due to having to go look for a place to stay. I received my items shortly after and my things were in great tip top shape.   Nice Experience!!

Will be using you again.

Thanks once again Liberty Relocation. The company carried out a wonderful job from beginning to end. I'm moving my daughter out of state to go to school in Atlanta. The movers came in and followed directions they packed her room completely without me helping. Everything was wrapped professionally, covered and  place in a box taped. It took them only two hrs to pack and load . My daughter was already in Atlanta waiting on her stuff to get there.  She received her items 8 days later with no damages or anything missing. Thank you Liberty Relocation.  I will be using you again in a yr for my son who will be moving out of state to go to school too. Keep up the good work!!

Long-distance move from Washington to New York

Moving experience.

I had a horrible experience with this company. I chose them because they ensured me there would no hidden fees and my experience with them would be great. It was not. The quote I intially received was very high and I almost didn't go with them as they were charging more than other companies. When I told them I had received cheaper quotes they looked at their quote and said an error had been made and lowered the quote. But the quote went up by a third after items were loaded into truck, more than the intial error. Also I was told if I was charged for stairs it would only be $75 which changed to $50 for every 7 stairs. Felt like I was continuously lied to in order to get my business. Poor customer service. When I tried to call them I just felt like they were just trying to get me off the phone and weren't listening to me. I was told I'd get a call back once they looked into it and still have not received a call back.

Long-distance move from Texas to Idaho

Was deceived about quote.

Was given a lot lower cubic foot quote and all cost included for a one room move.  After everything was loaded on truck.  Cubic feet cost had increased by over a third and an added fuel charge given.  At time of estimate it was discussed that fuel cost were included.  I feel that they deceived on cubic feet so you hire this company.  Once everything is loaded and ready to go what is a person to do.  Please do not use this company!

Long-distance move from Washington to Georgia

Don't do it.

THE WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE & I MOVE A LOT re: Medical training, residency etc..   First of all, my stuff was late (even though I paid extra for early delivery) and price went up upon delivery.  They shipped my stuff with some HORRIBLE company (Quality Moving is their name) out of FL even though I was promised that they use their own trucks. This particular company charged extra $500 for re-delivery based on their word against mine that they called me..there was NEVER a call from them EVER!! Since my stuff was being held hostage, I called Liberty and they did absolutely nothing to help me. Fast forward to my stuff arriving after I paid the fake "re-delivery fee" (at this point my moving cost is nearly double) they arrive to my very upscale high rise condo and they terrorize the concierge, residents and obstruct traffic in the financial district. I arrived home (my friend waited for them) and I was told my HOA to NEVER EVER EVER allow those movers on that property again as they were the worst moving company they have ever seen in the history of the building..this is a 40 story high rise.  When I got into my house, all my boxes were WIDE OPEN, BROKEN or missing. My very expensive medical equipment, $3500 custom made one of kind paintings were all damaged, my bedroom set ($5000 ) and my bed were all broken, glasses shattered and my clothes hanging out of boxes..long story short 70% of my stuff is either damaged or missing. Adding salt to the wound, they left me a large box full of their trash in my house..drink bottles, moving tape trash, trash bags etc. Who does that? The movers proceeded to stalk my friend whom was helping me move in attempt to flirt with her.  I have not heard anything from liberty even though I have reached out to them numerous times and frankly I am tired. I have records of all the damage, pictures, video, phone records etc and I have handed them out to my lawyer who will handle it. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY, SANITY AND TIME AND GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE!!

Long-distance move from Texas to Ohio

Worst moving experience ever!

I have had nothing but troubles with Liberty Relocation. They promised me a guaranteed delivery date, which was not met. It took countless calls by my father and myself and 3 weeks for them to tell me that their bank didn't process my check and that they were having issues with obtaining a legal copy from their bank. I spoke with my bank about this, and they told me that there was no attempt made by Liberty Relocation to process my check. They kept telling me that I had to go to Wells Fargo to wire cash. The name on the account doesn't match the name of the company. This moving company is very sketchy, and they don't seem to care about anything relating to my items. They only care about getting cash. At pickup, they showed up a day and a half late. They dropped the boxes on my floor and threw it in the truck without any regard to the contents. When the movers were loading my motorcycle on the truck during pickup, he almost dropped my motorcycle and was laughing about it. The moving company charged me an additional 100 cubic feet ($483) for "dead space" around my motorcycle, which was not honored. The moving company utilized the space that I paid for around my bike for other people`s stuff. At drop-off, I found my motorcycle with $3,000 worth of damages and multiple things broken. This company is not professional at all and should be avoided if you don't want to be ripped off.

Long-distance move from Texas to Maryland

Dishonest Company!!

Liberty Relocation is a JOKE of a moving company. LATE pickup, LATE delivery, OVER charged, DAMAGED items, and LIES from every employee dealt with. The company first guaranteed me a delivery date of two weeks after picking items up which I stressed was vital because I would be out of state after that date. I called two days before the scheduled arrival date and was told my truck was STILL IN HOUSTON. The girl on the phone said she would look into why this happened and said her manager (Bryan?) would give me a call back. NO CALL BACK. Frustratedly had to call again and again just to be told excuses of payment issues, other deliveries and various LIES. Long story short, they FINALLY showed up demanding cash on the spot (SKETCHY MUCH?) and a bunch of my items were BROKEN. It took over a month for my claim to go through and the reimbursement was NOTHING compared to all the damages. WORST SERVICE EVER AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND. I hope your whole operation is shut down forever.  .

Movers You Want To Hire!

These are movers you want to hire!! (LIBERTY RELOCATION) I couldn't have asked for anything more. The movers from Liberty Relocation took all the headache out of my move from WA to LA. The company I work for paid to move me, so I opted the full red carpet service and I didn't lift a finger from start to finish. I appreciate the promptness of the move and if I have to move again will definitely use them again.
