They broke my furniture and didn’t know how to put things back together again at the new place. I had to monitor everything & remind them several times over about unfinished things like putting my dining room table back together. They were nice folks but I’m very disappointed and now I have furniture repairs to deal with. Boxes that had been marked fragile were upside down and had piles of boxes on top that crushed things. And $600 over their estimate despite my not needing hanging clothes boxes and they only packed 3 small boxes themselves. $2600 total for a 2 bedroom. Unreasonable

This is my first time using movers for my one bedroom and it was incredibly fast. I didn’t have to do anything they loaded the truck up within 70min I wasn’t even done packing I had a lot of loose items and that didn’t slow them down for a second. Keep in mind It was a giant upstairs master bed room with a bathroom and I had a lot of additional (heavy) furniture in the basement and they loaded it up and wrapped everything very fast. I had a timer going on and was impressed by how it only took 70min they are truly masters of their craft. We ended up going to a storage unit before my house and they unloaded what was labeled for the storage units quickly. And when we got to the house it took them no time to get everything loaded in my room. We hit a small snag however (no fault of there own) as it was impossible to get my box spring up these stairs since they were too narrow and box springs don’t bend like mattresses they were able to tie and pull it up the balcony. It was truly a stress free experience don’t hesitate to order their service.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1300

Although the process started later than I would have liked, the delivery team was outstanding, to include making a special effort to modify furniture so it would pass through the front door and reassembled beds and desks so they looked the same as they did before the move. The three movers were efficient and moved the items by hand that protected the floors and staircase. The driver drove since 3 am to start the delivery at 10am. He found a way to modify a large bookcase so it would fit through the front doorway. I am very pleased with the service.

We recently moved from Santa Fe NM to Indio CA and used JK Moving/ Budd Van Lines. Richard Montoya, our driver, could not have been more professional in every aspect of the move; he arrived early with an excellent team of packers, completed the job on time and delivered our items right on schedule. The unpacking team was outstanding and we had no damage to our possessions.

Can't say enough good things about the entire operation from the move coordinators right through the entire team.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $17000

The driver, Al, was very close to perfect in all areas, and eased the strain, giving me confidence. He was amazingly prompt and prepared for challenging loading conditions. His experience is obvious, as everything was handled efficiently and courteously on both ends.

The packers and unpackers were also cooperative, courteous, patient and quietly efficient.

The only complaint I have is that the packers in FL crammed my bed linens in the box so that my duvet was crushed. Two packers could have given it a quick couple if folds to achieve less wrinkling. And my hanging clothes were jammed together too tightly, making unpacking difficult.

But those two problems were minor compared to the overall excellence.

Moving crew were very understanding for of the special item they were transporting AFTER arrival to pick up. Although Michael Bennett was provided DETAILED information about the historical item to be transported, he failed to communicate the info to his staff. The move coordinator was resolved the communication error and service was provided with no complaints. Michael Bennett - you owe your staff an apology for the position you put them in by not communicating. Communication is the most important management skill and the backbone of business.
