Local move from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Miami, FL

FL Move.

It was effortless to work with International Van Lines. I had a last-minute move and a lot of pressure to get my stuff picked up. I was concerned about coming across one of these lousy moving companies you read about. IVL was recommended by a friend, so I went with them. My rep Alex was great! Everything he promised came true. The guys were on-time, packed well, and got the job done. Even though it was a small move, it's everything I own, so I wanted things to go well. I would 100% recommend IVL to anyone moving.

Local move from Brooklyn, NY to New York, NY

Ny move.

I recently moved with International Van Lines. My move was for a 2 bedroom apartment from Brooklyn, NY to the City. There are movers on every corner out here, but I felt most comfortable with IVl. Price-wise they were pretty reasonable. I did all my own packing so they just needed to handle furniture. They did a great job! No damages or problems, so they get a 5-star review from me.

Local move from Los Angeles, CA to San Francisco, CA

Movers.

International Van Lines performed my move to Beverly Hills, CA, to San Fransico. My move consisted of a three-bedroom home that needed packing, loading, and crating on a couple of paintings. They sent three movers that did an excellent job packing and loading. They made sure everything was secure. My move overall went well, so I want to leave them five stars. I'd also like to say thank you to my sales rep Justin, who was great the whole way through. I would use them again.

Long-distance move from New York, NY to Miami, FL

Miami Move.

I recently received my shipment from New York to Miami, FL. The move was quite small, but it is everything I own, so I spent countless hours researching movers. IVL came recommended by Consumer Report, so I decided on them, even though their price was a bit more. Their team did a phenomenal job packing, loading, and getting the job done right. I've moved several times in the past, and my experience with IVL was the best. My rep, Justin, was very clear on what to expect, and he was precise. Hopefully, I don't have to move soon, but if I do, I will go with them again. This day and age, it's hard to find reputable companies for any industry, so it was a delightful surprise.

Long-distance move from Nashville, TN to Atlanta, GA

Moving.

Moving from Nashville, TN to Atlanta, GA was a bit challenging for my family. I had received a last-minute job opportunity and needed to find a mover quickly. IVL came up number one on three different consumer websites, so I decided to give them a call. They quoted me $3850 to me and packed my 3 bedroom house. Their price was reasonable, and they provided the service they promised. My sales rep, Brian, went above and beyond to make sure I was pleased. He stayed with me throughout the move and notified me of all updates. Their service was excellent, and I would work with them again if needed.

Long-distance move from Alexandria, VA to Parker, CO

Never use this moving company!

After unpacking all our boxes, we are still missing our son’s first birthday gift. We kept it in the original box and never opened it because we were going to open it and give it to him when we got to our new townhouse.

The movers broke our desk and one of our lamps. They also broke part of our son’s changing table so it’s weaker and not as sturdy now.

We paid them over $8,000 on this move. They scratched up a lot of our furniture. We couldn’t believe how poorly they took care of our items.

I contacted our representative Brian that provided us a quote and Karen, who set up our moving date/payment a few days ago, and still nothing has been done.

Car Pickup/Delivery:
The car delivery guy was supposed to come between 4 and 6PM on September 3rd. Our friend waited until 7PM and didn’t hear from him until 8PM, when he told her that he wasn’t coming until 9AM the next morning. She went early to be there for when he arrived and he didn’t get there until 11AM.

When delivering the car, he contacted us saying it would be delivered on September 7th around noon and 1PM. He didn’t call us until 3PM to tell us he was 400 ft. from our townhouse (which he wasn’t, he was more like 4 miles from our townhouse). We found a neighbor to lead us to the main road that the driver said he was on. We drove up and back on that road for over 30 minutes and couldn’t find him. Finally we had to meet him at the local hospital to get our car.

DC Movers (movers that packed/loaded our items):
These movers arrived on our backup date of September 30th and they came at 9:30AM and brought a smaller truck, so they spent a half hour figuring out how they would pack everything before they even began. They started loading, taking apart furniture and wrapping it all up. They told us that everything we take apart and wrap up will be put back together for you once it gets to your destination.

They charged us an additional $800 for packing and protecting our furniture, then they charged us another $2,000 or so dollars because we had used up double the cubic feet we were quoted. They finished at 2PM and then he spent another 30 minutes going over everything, calculating and telling us the new total along with the date it would be delivered (September 7th).

Later in the week, we were contacted saying that our shipment left on Thursday and that it would be to us on Monday, September 9th or Tuesday, September 10th. We needed to stay in a hotel for 2 extra nights because our items didn’t arrive until Monday, September 9th.

Original Movers (movers that unloaded our items):
On Sunday, September 8th, I was contacted by German telling us they’d arrive between 2 and 5 PM to unload our items. They arrived around 2PM; however, they told us they needed the payment before they started moving anything. They sat in the truck until 2:30PM when my husband arrived and gave him the Postal Money Order.

They were very rough with our items. They were banging things around. They broke our desk. Then they told me and my husband that they don’t put furniture together again, that they aren’t allowed. They refused to put the furniture together that DC Movers disassembled, wrapped up and told us would all be put back together by the movers once it arrived at the new destination.

German called a lady named Jennifer who was so rude and unprofessional both over the phone and previously through email. They were rolling dollies all over our townhouse and banging them along the steps/walls with no care in the world.

Why does International Van Lines work with such poor, unprofessional companies? They should be ashamed of the way we, our home and items were treated.

Long-distance move from New York, NY to Atlanta, GA

Small move.

I recently moved to Atlanta and hired International Van Lines. I spent 2 weeks on the internet looking for moving companies, and although IVL wasn't my first choice, they came highly recommended, so I went with them. The moving team did an excellent job with the packing, loading, and driving. It was a smaller move, so it didn't require much, but they still did a great job. My rep, Brian was very good at paying attention to details and making sure things got done right. I was very pleased with the outcome of the move, so they get a good review from me.

Long-distance move from California to New York

Happy customer.

Moving from Claremont, CA to New York was a mission. Dealing with movers and moving all your stuff can be very stressful. IVL helped a lot with me managing my stress by overseeing all aspects of my move. I'm no rookie to working with movers and must say that IVL was great. They were on-time, packed well, and did the needful to ensure my satisfaction. Everything arrived in one piece and with no headaches.

Long-distance move from Naples, FL to San Francisco, CA

Movers.

I've used IVL three times. The most recent move was from Naples, FL, to San Francisco. My move was quite small, but since it's everything I own, I wanted to make sure I went with a higher-end company. The crew at IVL did a great job again. They packed & loaded very well, got my goods to my destination in a week, and I had no damage. My sales rep Justin is excellent! He always pays attention to detail and oversaw the entire moving process for me. Thanks again, International Van Lines.

Long-distance move from Austin, TX to Greenville, SC

Out of state move.

Moving out of state was a stressful experience. I'm happy that I did my research and found International Van Lines. Several third part consumer groups recommended them, so I felt comfortable letting them handle my move to Greensville, SC. My move was quite significant, so I needed a crew of 6 men who got the job done efficiently. The guys were on time and did a great job getting this organized in the truck. The move took about 8 hours and then 3 days for delivery. I got everything and had no damage, so I was delighted. I had never worked with a moving company before, so my nerves were going the whole time, but I'm happy to announce that they did a great job and I would use them again.
