Amazing Movie Company!!

We have a lot of stuff in our one-bedroom apartment so I can assure you that doing this was not so easy as it looks. I searched for weeks for the right move or until I came across Independence Van Lines was recommended by a friend. I trusted my friend and I don't regret doing so because they did a good job with our move. We saved a bunch of money, and they made sure to be in communication with us throughout the whole moving process.

Wonderful company.

I have no complaints about how independence van lines handled our move, it has been outmost professionalism since the very beginning. When we received our estimate, I was a little blown away by the attractive price, but there is no catch here. What they offer is what you get, no questions asked. I wouldn't trade using them for anyone else under any circumstance!

Great moving company.

This move cost us 12 grand but when relocating from one coast to the other, the costs quickly pile up. I did my calculations and it would cost even more if we tried doing this ourselves. Independence van lines faciliated the whole process so that we didn't have to worry about a thing. On top of that, their customer service is wonderful..that was really important to me!!

Amazing!!

I absolutely love and adore what independence van lines did with our move. They behaved like true professionals and understood the importance of our needs. Safe packing techniques kept our antique furniture in perfect condition from pick up to delivery. This was a big point for me that I kept on reminding, and im happy they took it under consideration. I could not be more happier that independence van lines did our move, instead of any other competitor.

Reliable and Dependable.

A very dependable and reliable company. These guys done exactly what they said they would do in the time frame they promised to do it. There is nothing about a company that gets under my skin more than a company or a person that don't keep their word. The most important thing about good business to me is functional communication. Independence Van Lines kept me informed about every detail along the whole way. From the first conversation with the agent taking my house hold itemized inventory to the customer service agents ensuring quality assurance that my moving experience went as smoothly as possible, Independence was very respectful and honest. Could not be more satisfied.

Amazing work.

I moved my whole family and everything that we have. Finding a mover was an essential part of this whole experience because it needed to be people that I can fully trust. Now that the process is finished, I can reflect back and say that Independence Van Lines did what they were told. A coffee table was damaged so I was naturally upset about that, and they calmed me down and followed the procedure to pay me back. So, I don't really have anything bad to say about them.

Very professional.

I am very satisfied with the services I recieved from this company. From the first point of contact they conducted business professionally with adequate customer service. Best ever.

Im still speechless at the level of professionalism and attention to detail these guys gave our move compared to some competitors that took advantage of us. The price was reasonable, and our things were delivered only a few days late. Considering what's going on across the country, I think that's not so bad and is actually a solid resolution of our relocation. .

Excellent movers.

A small move but independence van lines took on the challenge regardless. There was no complaints or problems with the movers, two guys arrived and quickly packed my things. About 10 days later was the delivery day -- they arrived to the hour which really surprised and impressed me. I was left with a lasting impression that this is an awesome company!

Excellent company.

I do not have one thing to complain about, if anything I should be showering this company with compliments because you were able to stand my attitude problems with relative ease. That is a big plus considering I can sometimes get very stressed if I don't get answers I want right away. I: know im a handfull but the representatives are trained really well in customer service. As far as the move goes itself, everything went picture perfect.

Independence Van Lines, Inc. went above and beyond to help my sister move. I was not the customer, however, she is not in a state to leave a review, so I told her I would. My sister moved to a home that could better assist her. She had a ton of stress with the move, I literally cannot even begin to describe it. However, Independence Van Lines, Inc. helped her as much as they could. Josh took an interest in her move, maybe he does this with all of his customers. However, she appreciated it. The movers were professional and did not take one break. Our family does not usually like reviews, we want people to make up their own minds. Though, we figured this would be an exception. We do recommend Independence Van Lines!

Excellent COmpany.

Moving across so many states, I thought this would be a difficult experience but it proved to be otherwise and I think its because of the expert professional help. Our movers were called independence van lines and they did a heck of a job. I seldom leave reviews, especially when a company does something right, because I expect things to be done correctly. BUT they went above and beyond what I expected, so they deserve one here for sure!

Movers showed up on time.

Movers showed up on time, moved everything out quickly and easily without any help or input needed from me, then moved it all into storage, all within the time window I was quoted. When we got to the storage unit, I realized I would need to move around the stuff I already had in there so that the incoming furniture and boxes could fit. The movers told me not to worry, and took care of everything themselves. I would definitely use them again if moving in the DC area!

If you're thinking about using Independence Van Lines then I would go right ahead, just make sure to negotiate a good price because they will lower it if you know how to talk. Just like with most companies, they want your business so they will cut a deal like they did with us. Now we are happily moved into our new home after just two weeks and I got a sweet deal.

Great movers!

Our move was based on speed requirements and independence van lines promised to deliver, actually they guaranteed everything. Lo and behold they made it on time and arrived in the afternoon of the delivery day of our things. Now I can unpack calmly without the rush of getting ready for work for monday in my new home. I have the whole weekend to do so :).

**DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY**

Sent them an inventory and they gave me a “guaranteed price” of $3,300 and a guaranteed deliver of 2-4 days to move furniture 800 miles. Paid them $1,800 for a deposit. Moving company came a week later and the driver asked for $7,200. Said the inventory was miscalculated and if we wanted a delivery in 2-4 days it would cost $2,500 more. Otherwise, the furniture would go to a warehouse until another truck could take the load.

I highly recommend them.

Our first big move and Independence Van Lines could not have made it easier. Their online estimate was very helpful. When the day of the move came they arrived ahead of schedule. Their team headed by Irving went to work immediately wrapping covering moving efficiently quickly carefully. Within an hour they were on the road. They unpacked set up. Items that were taken apart in the move cleaned up not leaving a scrap of paper behind. I highly recommend them.

Moved a 3 bedroom city condo yesterday and 4 man crew- they were awesome. From the second they pulled up on the job, they were go-go-go and had some great attention to detail for the speed they were operating at. I was worried that the estimate wasn't enough and that this move would end up costing me more, but they worked so well I actually got an hour of time back. Also, I would highly recommend having them wrap everything- it may seem pricey but they are fair with their use/charging for it and it makes it so much easier for them to move your stuff carefully. These guys are absolutely fantastic. I have never had a move go so smoothly. My movers were by far the MOST professional movers I have ever worked with. They used shrink wrap, furniture pads, special boxes, furniture-safe tape, and the works to get our move done fast and efficiently. They were extremely hard working, and incredibly skilled in making sure the furniture was well taken care of and safely transferred. These guys were also just extremely friendly and always had a smile on their faces. I cannot describe how happy I am with the move, and will definitely be using them in the future! THANK YOU!!!!

My family used Independence Van Lines when we had to move from Texas to Canada quickly. I was nervous using professional movers only because no one has ever handled our family’s things in a move but us. Then again, how do you move a family cross- country in a week on your own? Independence Van Lines showed up and packed up all of our heirlooms, electronics, and all as carefully as we would. By five hours later, everything was packed away and loaded on the truck. Later that week, our truck arrived safe and sound at our new home. If they set me at ease, they deserve your business!

Moving is overwhelming - the team from Independence Van Lines made moving as stress free as it can be! All of our items were packed in the truck with care and then unloaded in an organized way. Price DOUBLED at pickup

I contacted Independence Van Lines on 11/19/2020 to schedule my move. We spent 2 hours on the phone going over full detail of the items in my home to get an accurate estimate. The gentleman helping me, Jeff, assured me the price would not change unless I add services last minute. As I elected the full suite of services, he assured me the price would not change. I gave him EXTREME detail about the items and amount of stuff in my home, and received a quote of just over $7,000. Great! I gave them my info for the deposit, $2700, and agreed the rest of what I owed would be split into 2 payments. One at pick up and one at delivery. Works for me. Flash forward to move day, 12/29, the company that Independence contracted with shows up and says, "They really under quoted you, looks like it will be $3900 more due to size and labor" so I called Independence van lines, spoke to Megan a manager who told me that bc they need more cubic feet in the truck that the price will go up....and not $3900 like the movers said....but up to $14,000. So now, rather than the $2500 I was expecting to pay today, they are asking for $5000, but offered me free storage of my items for 30 days while I find a way to pay them the rest of the $7000. Where will I come up with $7000 in a month when I am UNEMPLOYED MOVING OUT OF STATE?! I am moving out of state, buying a home, I got have an extra SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS over what was quoted. I had a very strict budget since I am working in the constraints of the home buying process. I am not left with the decision of leaving HALF OF MY BELONGINGS or RENTING A UHAUL MYSELF to move. I find this utterly unprofessional and completely unacceptable.

Independence Van Lines was a life saver

Independence Van Lines was a life saver. I was displaced abruptly from my job and forced to move with little notice to new store. As I had very little time between locations, they helped me pack, load and unload all in time to get back to work. They were extremely courteous especially when making the arrangements, making sure every detail was taken care of. The gentlemen that came for my things were a huge help. I was so pleased to have someone get me through this. I recommend Independence Van Lines to anyone needing to move in a hurry. I am definitely returning the next time I have to move.
