Long-distance move from East Setauket, NY to Redwood City, CA

Costs exceeded contract by 3200 and I still don't have propertymy.

At pickup the crew informed us that everything had to be boxed.

Neither the eestimator Adam and natalie the contract person told us that. in fact they both said we could leave light items in drawers.

But the movers refused to take anything not in a box.

Extra cost 70 boxes and $1600

Plus if you want any insurance $400 more.

Delivery was scheduled for this morning at 8 am. My dad is disabled so we had to arrange extra help.

Worked till 2 am

Up at 7

Talked to all the neighbors to make sure we were ok for big truck

By 10 no one showed so we called them.

Driver says he was late for his first drop off and can't make it today.

And he's worried about bringing 18 wheeler onto our street.

Our stuff wasn't picked up in 18 wheeler.

And there was one across the street a few weeks ago so we know it can fit.

He shows up after 9 pm tonight

With the trailer

Says he can't do it and wants 1200 cash before he'll deliver our property

Seriously they are crooks don't use them
