Imperial Moving and Storage

I have moved 3 times within 4 years, and I must say this has been one of the best services I have received.

When the crew arrived they noticed that the stairs would give them some issues because they were curved but never the less they got the job done in a timely manner. They crew were very polite, very strong guys, and they listened to everything I asked. I definitely recommend them. And I would use them for future move:). Thank you imperial moving crew.

I found IMPERIAL MOVERS on Angie's list. Most of the So call reviews are not accurate in my opinion and based on what I went through with FELIX ,and the foreman...May be try chose their victims once.try access 're situation..

My quote was $960 to move a Dresser,Nightstand and other small bags. The Foreman was late,then wanted to charge for more time, so on getting to the Storage, IMPERIAL MOVERS would not release my items of I didn't pay $1305 . Please call me I am a real client! the driver and foreman turned my DRESSER and NIGHT STAND UPSIDE DOWN!!!

We had our move go very smoothly. Erica handled our business and contracts. We decided on a flat rate move and her price was lower than any other moving company’s quote. Everything was met to the contractual obligations. Doctor was the foreman on the job. He and his crew moved us as fast and professionally as I was hoping for. He moved us out of one house to another. The move was flawless. All items were packed safely and then transported without incident. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone with an out of town move from one house to another.

The team arrived at my apartment in NY right on time. They worked fast and professionally wrapped any items that were not boxed by us. They were fast and professional. No damage was done to the apartment or the hall. They arrived in PA. in good time. Again they worked fast and professionally. There was NO damage to our home in PA. either. We have not fully unpacked yet, (who knows when that will happen), but I have unpacked some of the most fragile items and NOTHING is broken. Great job JUBO & his team. I would use Imperial again. Please pay attention to the negative reviews. This was my forth move with Imperial, and something has changed. It's become a definite scam. My experience is typical of all the negative reviews on here. I was quoted $1,800 as an estimate. Everything was itemized including the number of boxes I would be moving. The estimate clearly said in capital letters "NO HIDDEN COST POLICY".

Well, here's what happened. Anything that was big, they took time to disable and "crate" in a garment box. Anything that would fit in a garment box would be put in a garment box. Dining room chairs, shoes racks, side tables, lamps all went in garment boxes, often with tons of excess space. As an example, two garment boxes contained two IKEA chairs (weighing about 2 pounds) each. This would all be fine except, to my surprise, when they arrived at my house, they left all the chairs, tables, etc. in those boxes and then included all of those boxes on my bill. I had a $555 box charge. At no time was I told I was buying all of those boxes they were using. My estimate said it was a TOTAL MOVE estimate with a NO HIDDEN COST POLICY. How was this not a hidden cost? I even offered to give the boxes back (it's quick and easy to take out the chairs, tables, lamps, etc.), but they said I bought them. On top of that most of the boxes has clearly been used in previous moves.

They also billed me for an extra hour. Time in 9:15, time out 10:15; hours moved: 14 hours. That seems like an obvious math error, but they have refused to understand it. In all, they went $1,600 over my estimate. It was just ridiculous. I'm willing to pay for the extra time they took moving, but I can't understand why they won't acknowledge that the box charge was bogus and the extra time was a obvious math error.

Oh, and customer service won't talk over the phone to answer your questions. This company has obviously devolved into a shady scam. Please avoid at all cost. I will never do business with them again. I'm so upset. I'm an honest person willing to pay for the extra time spent moving (~$850), but I fail to understand why they refuse to refund me for the rest. I never post reviews, but I'm trying to keep someone else from making the same mistake I made. I just want to spare someone the experience I had with this company.

I had Vlad as one of the movers today, there were two others and they were so fast, so efficient, very helpful, organized and productive. I used Imperial last year and they were equally as amazing. I will continue to use them each time I move in the area because I am always very impressed and very happy with their services. They are very friendly too, each time I've called to book them Felix has been a great help and very accomodating. Overall exceeds expectations.
