Henry Moving Company

Hi Good day!Henry Moving Company is not customer service friendly nor do they communicate effectively to their customers or employees. I originally booked their services and later discovered by my apartment complex, that our freight elevator was not free during the time I originally scheduled with Henry's Moving Company.I later emailed Henry Moving company a hour later after my booking was confirmed and asked for the time to be switch to a earlier time. However, I did not hear back from anyone with the company so I decided to rent my own truck and crew. After I completed my own loading to my rented Uhaul with a few friends, their crew in their truck arrived asking for me and I was in a aww moment because I assumed they could not meet the revised time nor did I ever hear back from anyone with the company about me changing my move time. After Henry's moving team and I discussed that I had already packed my belongings in my rental truck they were frustrated that their company didn't notify them to arrive at a earlier time which I requested via email.  I later called the company back advised them of the issue but as stated they did not get my email, rather than being honest in saying the didn't read it. So after the moving guys left I decided to give Henry's moving company a second chance knowing that sometime we all make mistakes, to see if they could just help unload my truck at my new location just so they wouldn't waste their time coming by and Henry advised during our phone call that he would call me back and coordinate the guys to help unload my truck at me new place but never called me back. I waited for a return call, text or voicemail and nothing. He does not communicate nor does he care for peoples concerns to help eliminate the stress of moving. My third chance I will give Henry's moving company is not to put the next customer through what I went thru. Today as I am here at work I got sick from moving myself with friends in the rain this past weekend.I kindly ask that you reconsider your decision with this company as you will only get added stress to your move and will be very unhappy.Kind regards, Unsatisfied Customer.

Save yourself the stress and anger Henry moving company invokes and pay a little more money to get good service.

LOTS of issues, some of the highlights..
-2.5 hours late after confirming that morning they would be on time.
-lots of miscommunication between Henry, movers, and us.
-did not pack truck well so not all items fit, which meant we had to rent our own UHaul to finish the job, especially annoying since movers ignored our request to load the big items first so we could have moved small things in our car.
-broke items and did not accept responsibility.
-careless unloading: lots of marks on walls and scratches on floor in new apt. Plus, piled everything in living room- ignoring labels and leaving us with a mess to find anything and move heavy furniture. Plus, dirty/scratched/dinged furniture.
-tried to charge more $ than we owed (even if the service had been perfect) saying they were there for 1.5 more hours than they were- a blatant lie.

Service cost: $225

Moved in August of 2016 and very slick and sleazy way of doing business, after sales Henry will never contact you again or pick up the phone. so if you have a damage good luck. The kicker is when the move is completed, even though the website and Henry says that they accept credit cards. THEY DO NOT. Because just as the move is over and you call to make credit card payment, the machine will be broken and YOU will have to pay in cash, so any claims you may have, Henry won't answer the phone and you won't be able to dispute credit card because YOU PAID CASH.
