Do Not Use Grace Removals

This company let us down from beginning to end. The move from Brisbane to Sydney resulted in multiple pieces of furniture smashed and most distressing for us, there were boxes that just never arrived. We lost antiques and priceless family heirlooms. Management took so long to follow up with our concerns and the answer we received after 6 weeks was "we don't know where your belongings are; maybe went to Vinnies".

I cannot stress enough how unreliable, unprofessional and expensive Grace removals was. Never use this company.

Extremely Delayed

I used Grace to move cartons as PCL from Australia to Germany and the costumer service I received was subpar to say the least. I didn't receive answers for months and when I finally did I was twice provided with the wrong tracking number for the ship. I was originally told the shipment would take around 3-4 months and after 7 months I am only now receiving my boxes.

I can perfectly understand that there might be shipping delays or container shortages but none of that was communicated and most requests for updates were ignored. And the fact that they couldn't even provide me with the right ship number is beyond unprofessional.

Long-distance move from Geelong, VIC to Alice Springs, NT

Extremely disorganised and not careful with assets

We had one company pull out on us two weeks before we needed to move, so went with Grace as they are expensive but are supposed to be the best. The initial consult, organising and agreeing was smooth, friendly and assuring. Which is a shame with what ensured.

We had issues not long after we had paid the deposit, from pickup order of items being incorrect (we had 2 locations needed in a set order and the removalist on the day didn't have those instructions) to not being told they couldn't move a vehicle until we had already moved. Also costs involved to just retrieve items from Storage was not disclosed.

Revised cost amounts also after job accepted for pet relocation.

Then on the delivery day which was organised 3 weeks in advance from storage they only delivered less than half the items, eventually came back with 1 worker which I had to help unload (no thank you from management), as well as canceling a pick up from our temporary accommodation on that day as well.

Several large items are now broken and unusable (cabinet, mirror, desk, animal enclosure), items in boxes packed broken etc & 3 boxes completely missing. Also some antiques and varnished items where not stored correctly and scratched/damaged etc. Also they placed their stickers over the varnished areas...

For their $5000.00 extra price to competitors it was probably the worst decision to ever go with Grace.

Move from WARRAWEE to Balgowlah

Unfriendly, unhelpful, rude, cut corners and lazy! I chose Grace because of it’s name and reputation. What a disappointment and mistake. I paid nearly $6k for the worst service and move. I literally needed to project manage them the whole way. The guys were rude, lazy and unhelpful. They nearly left without my washing machine and half my contents in the garage. At the arrival of my new address, they couldn’t wait to leave without ensuring I was happy nor had they completed the services I had paid for! They even left all their afternoon tea-and lunch wrappers out on my verge for me to clean! Say’s it all. I’m stressed moving house and organising all the fundamentals associated with a move but now I’m running around picking up after my removalist!!! DONT USE. I’ve got a better service from hiring “two men and a truck”. SERIOUSLY - and for half the cost. Never again will I pay top dollar for Grace to move me.

Long-distance move from Palm Beach, NSW to Trinity Beach, QLD

Shocking

We engaged Grace Removals to move us from Palm Beach NSW to Trinity Beach Qld at a cost of over $15k. Pick up March 01 2022.

It took them 3 weeks to download after a quote of 2 weeks and then when they downloaded we discovered that what wasn’t damaged was missing.

In fact over 20% of our goods were missing never to be returned.

After more than 3 weeks of discussions

we were directed to their insurance company which involved another more than 3 weeks of providing proof of damage and loss.

Eventually out of desperation we settled for half of our claim.

We would not recommend Grace Removalists to our worst enemy.

They are overpriced for the lack of service they provide and amateurish in their service.

What happened to the over 20% of our belongings that we never received ?

We will never know.

Horrible expereince

The worst service provider experience of my life. We were hugely overcharged for what i thought was maybe worthwhile for a premium service.

the move from Sydney to Melbourne took them 9 days to move. Broken things everywhere. I got harassed multiple times a day for an invoice discrepancy but when it cam to getting any assistance it was radio silence. Would certainly not recommend and will never use them again.

International move from Bundaberg, QLD to Blenheim, Marlborough

No responsibility no liability for their actions

I had a lovely lady who was so efficient helping sort my move from ,Bundaberg Qld to Blenheim NZ Until the lady left. Then it went to the dogs.

Removal’s arrived 3 hours early, no notification.

Removalists did no bring boxes gear to pack my stuff.

Removal’s used some of my packing before going back to pack it properly, now there’s a laugh.

Jewllery missing damage to a few items and no responsibility.

Arrived in NZ, not to be unpacked as was told.

On my unpacking I found flowers crushed and broken that had been packed by (I don’t give a dam )in with books no packing around them.

Records again, no packing around, left to free float across the pacific.

Used my well and truly worn box only for local removalists to have to repack it.

Who packs a big fry pan in with photo albums? The same idiot who packed my plates in with my kilt, very professional job that Grace.

Claimed insurance,as covered for $6000 they said, saw me coming for sure. Very reassuring until you want to claim.

Goodsales technique that Grace dangle the carrot to get a bite.

Contacted Wellington office, sent photos, they looked into it.

When insurance gave me the run around and called me a racists.

I contacted to Wellington and guess what! another lady has left again.

She contacted various departments over a week ago who have not bothered getting back to her or to me.

Now that says nothing but total lack of communication, respect or responsibility of me as a paying customer or to your staff.

Insurance said I signed once packing had been done iWRONG WRONG

PACKED BY GRACE AT THEIR DEPOT IN BUNDABERG.

Items were supposed to be unpacked for me but I was told that that was not the case.

I was going to use Grace for my return to Australia but unless I hear a favourable reply I won’t be.

Grace as a consumer you are failing at meeting a my Consumers rights.

I know staff can do the wrong thing but who ever packed was a two man job one done well, but the most by Half Harry and who certainly wasn’t supervised.

Photos have been sent to Wellington.

You packed my gear at your depot,

Result stolen or lost item and damaged.

Not by me but by Grace.

I’m furious

Do not use Grace.

We were absolutely screwed over and are having to sue them to get our belongings delivered. They said we hadn't paid for a door to door service which we had. We are now $1400 out of pocket for having to pay twice for delivery. They are unprofessional and unethical and anyone using them will need to be very careful indeed. We are very upset and angry about how we've been treated by one of the supposed best and biggest removal companies in Australia. As if it wasn't stressful enough and costly enough of a process without being treated badly as well. We would advise people to look elsewhere!

International move from Sydney, NSW to , UK

Do not use Grace removals - terrible customer service.

I am in the process of relocating from Sydney to the UK. This is my 6th international relocation, and first time using Grace.
The service level once they have your money quickly evaporates and the costs for anything additional are astronomical. I was charged over $AUD200 for second-hand "special crates" for two pictures. The crates were noticeably absent on the moving day. I will be keeping a close eye on whether they are present when my goods finally arrive (..more on that later).
Additionally, I received no confirmation of the moving date from Grace, despite emails on my behalf to confirm. They relied upon the driver to call the day before to request a confirmation.
I also received no follow up to check the move had gone well. So essentially after my representative took the money, I heard nothing. So much for end-to-end service and an "effortless" move.
But the absolute clincher was that Grace failed to complete the customs documentation. I was only made aware of this by the third party removalists in the UK.
When I asked Grace for support they sent a website link, no explanation of what was going on, or why the forms weren't complete or how to expedite them. Then radio silence.
Fortunately the third party company explained what was required, but also explained that I would now have to wait several additional weeks for delivery of my goods.
The issue being that I have now moved into an unfurnished apartment with no furniture, crockery, personal items, vacuum, hairdryer, television, linen. I did this because I was aware that my goods were due to arrive around the 6th of June.
There was still no response from Grace Removals, despite my additional email requests, on which I included customer service (good luck with trying to find that email address on the website!).
After making a public complaint on Facebook, my representative responded claiming they had mentioned that I was required to complete the customs documentation myself when they came over to do the quote (there is no written documentation to support this, no follow up to ensure it happened and apparently an expectation that I would then get in touch with Grace's outsourced UK provider with the reference number to clear customs!).
All the while, I had paid Grace to manage the customs process. This is standard with all international moves I have undertaken, and outlined in Grace's marketing materials and service agreements.
I was then given a bogus excuse that all transferees to the UK are now required to complete a form online, implying that Grace was unable to do this for me. The form needs to be mailed or emailed and so there is absolutely no reason why Grace is unable to complete this form on behalf of the clients who they are charging for this service.
I have now not heard anything further from Grace.
Given the experience so far, I am filled with dread as to whether my goods will actually arrive and what state they will be in.
This has been the worst relocation experience I have encountered, and also my worst customer service experience full stop. I suspect Grace realises that it is more difficult for international movers to take action when they don't deliver on their promises, and so ignore requests for support.
It is disappointing that Grace does not offer visible customer support service online nor any escalation process. If you get a poor representative managing your move, then it is bad luck.
I am sure that if Grace's senior management were aware of how appallingly the international relocation service is being conducted they would be outraged, as it reflects poorly not just on the company, but also the leadership and culture.
I would hope that someone in a senior customer service role would step in and actually try to resolve my current issues, however, I am not holding my breath.
As others have said DO NOT USE GRACE FOR INTERNATIONAL MOVES. There are far cheaper and more professional providers in Australia.

Long-distance move from Victoria to Northern Territory

Small consignment, slow delivery - Nov 2014.

Consignment approximately 1 cubic metre. Should have only taken around 14 days from pickup to delivery time.  No contact from Company after 3 weeks.  Emailed Victoria and was told that local office had been trying to contact me. Rang the local office who didn't know anything about it. They checked and then I was told the goods had arrived approximately 2 days before.  On making arrangements for delivery I was then told the consignment was held up in Adelaide and they would be arriving the following week.  When contacted the following week to say goods had arrived I advised that I would be out up until a certain time, only to receive a call whilst out to say the goods were on the way to be delivered.  Paid full rate, not backloading, so not happy re delay and lack of contact once goods were picked up.  Very happy with pick up and delivery staff .  Would think twice before recommending or using Grace again.

Local move within Western Australia

Move 20 km from Bow Bridge to Nornalup, Western Australia.

Having been booked for 8:30 am the trucks finally arrived approx 11:00 am. Lead hand then proceeded to do an inventory, (without any list supplied by me to check against),while the other two men stood around. (Might add he never looked at it again, so don't know why he bothered). Then time for a smoko break. Truck loading finally commenced approx 12:30 pm. After many smoke breaks, the smaller truck with 2 men proceeded to pack up at 4:00 pm and drive back to Albany (85 km) despite my having been assured that the men would have swags and be camping on the job. By this stage only half the load had been loaded. The leadhand continued to pack for another hour.
First day - late, disorganised and knock off early.
2nd day - equally disorganised, failed to load a large amount of the items they were supposed to carry. Claimed we had reached the booked number of cubic metres, yet hadn't loaded what I had listed.
Off loaded items at the wrong location, ie items for the shed into the house and vice versa, despite all the boxes being labelled. Were not equipped to handle the piano despite this being a special requirement of the booking. Smaller truck had leaked, 10 cartons of wool knitting yarn stock damp. 1 large bag of clothes saturated. Only good thing, the clothes probably saved more of the cartons from getting wet. 2 books in an antique set of children's encyclopedia damp. Devalued.
Recommendation to others - Don't use Grace Removals of Albany. Spot On Removals in Albany do a far better job at a better rate and at least they carry what they are contracted to do.

Missing box of tools.

I moved from Sydney to the Gold Coast and had my items in storage for a number of months. The office staff at both Seven Hills and the Gold Coast were very helpful and the Gold Coast team particularly tried to assist with my lost tool box.

The removalists in Sydney were an excellent team and the men at the Gold Coast were also good.

Minor marks on my good furniture were repaired very well by an experienced french polisher through insurance.

The problem arose when I found out my box of tools was missing. The insurance company fell slightly short of accusing me of lying. I had signed that I had received my goods (at the time commenting to the men that I had not counted the items but I thought they would all be there). WRONG!! I had 297 individual items.

In the end out of the goodness of their heart the insurance company decided to give me $500 which did not cover all items so I managed to get them up to $750. As I am finding out this still does not cover all items.

I will give you this advice if using Grace Removals - or any removalists actually:

1. Number your boxes and list thoroughly the important items.
2. At the time of collection the team put stickers with their own reference number on each item. MAKE SURE YOU CROSS REFERENCE THEIR NUMBERS WITH YOUR NUMBERS.
3. Make sure you stand at the truck and tick off all items as they are removed from the truck. It will slow the process down a bit but better to be sure than sorry.

I had chosen Grace - even though they were expensive - as I thought they had been around for a long time and would be reliable.

Tools can be replaced however the tool kit was put together by my husband for me just before his death. So sentimentally this cannot be replaced.

Goodness knows why they do not have an electronic scanning system.

Susan.

Moving within Brisbane.

I moved on the 8th of December for 10 km and it was the worst experience ever.
Except for my furniture, most of my staff was left behind(we are still moving)despite paying $6192.
I was charged $960 for crates for 3 marble pieces of furniture that I was supposed to keep and reuse if need may be, which I don't have.
My fridge was broken on the transport.I was told that we have a replacement warranty but Colin started to shout at me that I should have read what I signed for and that repair warranty. The fridge was only 1 year old and was still under the manufacturer warranty.Because the technician could not prove that the fault was caused by the removals, the manufacturer was supposed to cover(still waiting).
I would never recommend to anyone to go through the level of stress that I encountered with Grace.

Stolen items.

After using Grace International to move personal items from to Melbourne (Australia) from South Africa, I can only express horror with respect to choice that was recommended. Apart from items arriving ( a few damaged) one item in particular was missing. The item being a laptop in a laptop bag with various remote devises for audio and television appliances (as included within the cargo)..someone within the company decided to help themselves to our items. To compound the issue apparently investigated and simply responded by saying that I should claim for loss from my insurance. As a moving company's it is for Grace International to collect, transfer and deliver entrusted items in good order. An insurance claim is for the unfortunate event and not to simply walk away from accountability to which I define as stolen items by the company. I would definitely not recommend Grace International (as appointed by Elliot in partnership) to be given the responsibility of anyone's move as they clearly cannot be trusted and may damage, steal or plunder your items..

Long-distance move from New South Wales to Victoria

Absolutely dreadful move.

My family and I recently moved interstate, and after sourcing many quotes to move, Grace's smooth talking salesman convinced us to go with their more expensive but apparently far more reliable service. After that initial quote though, everything went downhill. The boxes were not delivered when they said they would be, and then boxes were missing. The disconnect between operations and the moving team was just astounding, with all my details being wrong, from time of pick-up, to floor and apartment location.
On the other end, when my things arrived six and a half hours late (a whole work day gone), lots of items were damaged. They kept pulling thing s off the truck and the movers kept telling me "yep, this is broken too. Not our fault, must have been how they packed it". To top it off, one of the movers also knocked a framed picture off my wall while coming into the new house. The picture frame was completely destroyed. All he said was "my bad, sorry". I asked the movers to get rid of the broken furniture but they told me they had been instructed by head office to leave it as a tradesman would be out soon to fix it. After a back and forth via email, as I expected, no tradesman came and I am now left to dispose of the broken items.
They did however offer me $350 compensation to attempt to make up for this $4000 nightmare.
I wouldn't normally write something like this, but I just want people to be aware that this company will promise you the world and deliver your items late and destroyed.
I will never recommend them to anyone, and am also going to lengths to make sure my company uses a different service from now on, as we quite often relocate staff.

Do not use Grace Removalists - Beware.

We engaged Grace Removalists to relocate our personal belongings and two motorbikes from Australia to Canada.

Our moving consultant came over and inspected our furniture and motorbikes, the advice we recieved was that the motorbikes had to be ‘freehold’ (no loan) if there was anything more we needed to do he would advise us.

So forward two months house sold, jobs finished, living in Canada and get an email from Grace Removalists third party shipping partner in Canada and our motorbikes are ‘inadmissible’ into Canada.

Now we live in another country and our vehicle are in Australia, Grace advice.

‘We can drop off them off to your work place’ free of charge.

How can I sell the motorbikes for a reasonable price when i’m in another country..?? They aren’t registered, insured or have a safety certificate..!!

Ask our Relocation Assistant to call us and get response.. my personal phone is broken and my work phone won’t call international ‘it has a block on it’

Grace Removalists definitely NOT RECOMMENDED.

International move from Sydney, NSW to Christchurch, Canterbury

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

We chose Grace removalists for our move from Sydney to Christchurch (NZ) from three other removalists as they were comparative in cost and were the only company that did an onsite quote.

It required a two day move with items in storage and two motorbikes. Day 1 packing team decided to take it easy and knock off at 2.30pm which meant there was two much work for Day 2. One of the packers had bad attitude; would not collapse shelving that we were told would be collapsed, had to be reminded several times to go back and pack rooms and items that had not been put on the truck. We then discovered that items had been missed from the inventory or were put down as 'owner packed' because they couldn't be bothered repacking items we had put into boxes for storage. This was a nightmare when it came to The Ministry of Primary Industries inspection with us having to double guess what these 'owner packed' items were.

The Good: We received our goods in New Zealand within 5 weeks and the receiving team in New Zealand were awesome, transferring our contents into another storage container on a temporary property.

The Bad - Grace management did not acknowledgement any concerns I raised about the competency of the packing team. We paid for the full package that included full unpacking of our goods into a new premise and removal of all packaging materials. However, we moved our items into another storage container on a family's property, so we did not make use of this. I sent several emails to Grace management querying the cost we had paid for a full service that we did not use as well as our inability to check for damaged items and and any proceeding insurance claims. They did not respond to any of my emails.

All in all I got the feeling that once the company had got your service it was a matter of getting the job done with zero care factor.

Three bedroom house - cost $17, 0000 for full service of unpacking goods in new premise and removal of packaging materials.

Long-distance move from Sydney, NSW to Darwin, NT

Promises a quick service, delivers late with issues and hidden costs

Engaged Grace for an interstate move (NSW to NT) in November / December 2020. Sales rep was great, took a detailed evaluation of the items and the move volume, which came up to 1.25 the size of a 20-foot container. This meant that the shipment would come in two parts, and he suggested that we ensure the important items were packed first so that they would arrive first as the other container would have to wait to be filled with the items from another customer before it would be shipped, which was fine with us. Plus, the extra services offered made the difference between them and their competitors. Price came back higher than the rest, but they were the only ones that claimed to be able to meet the short time frame of the move (2 weeks).

The Sydney crew came to pack up the items and while they did a pretty good job, two issues started to ring alarm bells. Firstly, the movers came to start the packing at 1330 H, after another house pack-up that morning. Apparently, they were not informed that they were packing up a 4-bedroom house with a full gym in the garage. That forced them to work until 2000 H to get everything packed up. Secondly, when the movers were almost finished packing up the first 20-foot container, we enquired as to where the other container was. We were told that they did not know and that it was late in the afternoon and they may have to send another crew to complete the move the next day. When we contacted the BDM, he stated that he did not know if another container was scheduled. Eventually, a medium-sized moving truck was dispatched and picked up the rest of the items.

Then the cleaning crew arrived the following day and were surprised to learn that they would have to clean the horizontal blinds, even though I had emailed the list of cleaning requirements to the sales rep a whole week before. We were then told that, in order to add this cleaning to their scope of work, we would be charged an extra $150, which was paid immediately.

Due to the speed of the move, ended up taking an apartment which could not fit all our items. When the sales rep was informed of the delivery address, we were again charged an extra $450 for “difficult access at delivery”. As before, this was paid immediately.

We took a storage unit for the remainder of the items and was told that we would have to pay an extra $990 to split the delivery. And again, this was paid immediately.

Originally, we were given a delivery date of December 2nd, which was perfect for us as it would be one week after pack-up. We were told that it arrived in Darwin on that date, however, it could not be delivered until December 7th because of congestion due to a lot of volume going through the Darwin facility. So, we asked that the delivery be reshuffled in the yard into what was coming to the apartment and what was going to the storage unit. We were told that this was no problem. A day before the delivery was to be made, however, we received a call that the delivery would have to be postponed to December 18th because of our request for the reshuffle. We called the sales rep who stated that there was nothing that he could do but give me the contact for the Darwin facility manager. One call to this guy and he had it all sorted to deliver on the initial date of December 7th.

When the delivery was made on December 7th , approximately a third of my items were missing. They stated that the second container had not arrived and when it did, it would be delivered ASAP. Found quite a few items damaged: bar stool broken, dining room chairs gouged, bed headboard / footboard / rails ripped and water cooler leaking, to name a few. We saw that a lot of items that were carefully wrapped at pickup were found unwrapped at delivery, which contributed to the damage. Since we had only insured the big-ticket items such as TVs, washer, dryer, and dishwasher, we were not reimbursed for any damaged items.

When the second delivery was made on December 18th , 10% of our items were still missing. When we enquired, the Darwin site manager gave us the full story; the shipment had been put into three containers in Sydney. No reason was given for this and we were not informed of this from the outset.

We had the final delivery on December 24th and still, a few items were missing; most likely from being missed when the other containers were sent to their customers. These were picked up at the Darwin facility by us early January.

To summarise my rating of Grace:

Pros:

• Speed of quote

• Range of services

• Hard-working and under-appreciated delivery personnel

Cons:

• Price and pricing adjustments

• Slow and inadequate progress updates

• Apparent coordination issues between departments / facilities

• Yard personnel appear to have much less duty-of-care than their delivery counterparts.

Very quick to provide a quote and lock you in and then the service stops , poor communication, no one takes responsibility, they showed up hours earlier than booked and were were expected to accomodate their schedule change and the list goes on - DO NOT TAKE THEIR INSURANCE - it was totally misrepresented to us as being in house and coverage of contents even if not packed by them, and then when you sign when you accept delivery ( when you have had no time to check all your furniture) that is considered acceptance of no issues. We are about to lodge formal complaints with ACCC, Insurance Ombudsman and Removal peak body as they are now not responding or addressing our issues. The cost of the insurance was significant compared to the move and we basically gave the money for nothing. Their lack of communication now says it all - they take the money and then are off to sell to the next sucker....

Canberra to NZ

Awful end result and the most hard-bitten and unethical management of claim for damaged household items. This may be common business practice among removal companies. I will tell you what happened and at the end give some advice to protect your interests.

Grace are lovely at first and the Canberra senior salesman is charming.

The end result is:

• My solid oak extendable dining table was packed on its end in the container. It arrived with the corner smashed. A couple of chairs now have loose joins. A $20,000 dining suit is now rubbish.

• A leather cushion from the lounge suit is missing. Impossible to replace. Lounge is no longer made. Now the whole lounge suit has no value.

• Boxes were broken and the items re-packed in those blue and red striped packing bags. Items are missing, and two very nice small items meaning 22 ct gold chain.

• 3 boxes are missing and not ticked off on the inventory. Lots of our kitchen items and stereo are gone.

• Paid extra for large and fragile artworks to be packed in wooden crates. Did not notice not written in contract. Also not done.

• Paid $000’s to send over car and have registered. No item written on the inventory/contract. We did not notice. Arrived here to find out Grace do not have a service to register cars.

• In reply to the emails with pictures of the damage there has been silence. More emails and no reply.

• They have a double-act going with their insurance company. Insurance responded that as we do not have a policy with them the claim is rejected.

o This is wrong of them. The liability is with Grace and if they choose to insure or bear the cost is up to Grace.

In my opinion and my experience:

• Grace will not support you getting all aspects of the job written down.

• They will rely on only complying with the written words in the inventory and contract regardless of the discussions and general expectations of the service.

* Grace will not acknowledge the claim by either replying in writing or eMail, or provide explanations for the damage.

• Grace will delay discussion and avoid the claim in the knowledge most people will give up.

In my opinion some actions to reduce your risks can include:

• Write down dot point notes as you discuss your job. Photocopy and staple to the contract and write on contract “attachment included.” I doubt you will have time for neatly type-written and printed notes.

• Use two people with different ways of thinking in collaboration when discussing the job. One person with the objective and sounding out the company representative and another with an eye for logic and detail are good. If you married to one or the other you are in luck.

• I think men can find this just as stressful as women but respond in a different way.

• Shop around for insurance for the ship transport and in port. In my opinion Grace has a far too close relationship with their insurer to look after the consumer. For such an expensive purchase, 25% of the move, you might have luck and find a different attitude from a different company.

• Industry-wide practices of buddying-up with the insurer and dodging claims is for our political leaders to become involved with.

The worst service experience - deceptive company

I have been in contact with Jason Narin and Nikhil Ramrakha for an international removal.

Jason said that our goods will leave Australia on 9/6/22 and MSC is the only one considering the route at that time. According to that we were charged double the actual cost. After that, Grace kept holding our goods in Sydney until September and never informed us that they did not ship our furniture on 9/6/22. We figured that out months later.

Our goods were not shipped through MSC as we were advised by Jason and later on I knew from one of their staff (Reanne) that there was not even a booking made for 9/6/22. We were deceived and never provided with the service that we paid for.

Awful service - do not use

Grace were very professional up until the moment we signed the contract, then they couldn’t care less about us. Our contact with our removalist stopped overnight and we could barely get any information out of them, and when we did they were rude and snarky. We were told our container would likely be shipped within a week to a month but it took 4 months just to be put on a ship and we are still awaiting its arrival. We have had to chase and chase to get this information and we received a one line email in response which was incredibly rude. We are so disappointed.

The comments Grace add to these reviews are all for show - as they do not follow up. They simply don’t care about you.

There are so many better companies to use. This one doesn’t care at all so use someone else! I regret using them and won’t use them again.

Lost my precious memories

Didn't take much on a move from QLD to Ireland having had bad experiences with removalists in the past but this was by far the worst experience. Delivery took 6 months which is much longer than anticipated. They managed to lose the one box that contained all my photographs, many sentimental items and an item my partner has treasured for many years. Their response after 4 weeks of chasing and few responses, sorry we can't find it, here's the link to the claim line. Devastated.

Update 02/08/23: still no satisfactory update as to where my belongings are.

Update 15/08/23 Box was apparently delivered to the wrong party who returned it but Grace have managed to lose it again.

Had they acted when they were initially informed it was missing and contacted the other customers using the same container it may have been located. Beyond devastating, these items are precious and irreplaceable.
