Good Move USA should not be allowed to handle cross country/out of state moves. ** I cannot speak for in state or same day moves. ** Good Move USA is unprofessional, lack proper communication, unorganized, and have inadequate management. They were 10 hours late on day of pickup. Our pickup time was from 8-10am on a business day. Around 12:30 pm, after no communication from them, I contacted them to see if everything was okay. They replied and said the move before me was taking longer than expected. Fair. However, communicating a pickup time change would be the professional way to handle that situation. It showed a complete lack of respect for their costumer’s time and schedule. They arrived around 8pm to pick up our belongings. After arriving, they increased the price of the move. We had to be out of the condo the next day and had no other option but to stick with them. When choosing Good Move USA, we were told the average time for out of state moves was 14 business days. However, the contract gives them 30 business days before a $30 a day/per diem rate occurs due to lateness. We contacted them multiply times over the next 2 months for updates on delivery. Including 3 days before the 30th business day and on the 30th business day. The response, if we even got one, was once we get a delivery date, we will let you know. They said they would give us a call when items are being loaded, once in route, and 24 hours prior to schedule a drop-off time. They delivered our items 6 business days after the 30-business daytime frame. The morning of delivery we received a call from the moving truck saying they were three hours away. We had no idea our items would be delivered that day. We never received a call 24 hours before to set up a drop off time/day. I had to scramble and cancel client meetings so we would not get charged a waiting fee. When they opened the truck our boxes and items were smashed, scratched, and intertwined with another client’s items. We ended up having numerous items missing, broken, or stolen. We received one bag by mail 3 weeks later with items missing from it. We filed a claim and did not come to any resolution. They will not reimburse us for the per diem rate for being late on delivery and we will not get any of our missing items. This is just a summary of some of the things we ended up dealing with. Please be cautious if you choose to use this company.

Your moving nightmare! Great on the front end with the estimate and pickup. Went off the cliff after. Late to deliver and had the nerve to charge storage fees! And when they finally came (without warning btw) they sent a crew of ONE to unload an entire household. But wait! There's more! Valuable collection of Navajo rugs and other artifacts disappeared. Carefully packed in a cedar chest, it arrived empty when delivered. Multiple other items missing. Clothes, tools, kitchenware. Their inventory control is pathetic if it could be said that they even have one. Their response is a shrug! I could sue them, maybe I win, but it will cost more in legal fees than any award. And good luck collecting a judgement from such a lowlife outfit. If you even dream of hiring these folks you should wake up and call a psychiatrist!

First they showed up late, then they doubled the price, showed up with a uhaul that holds 1682 cu feet by uhaul website for what they had estimated them selfs was 2400. took 2 uhauls plus, but neither uhaul was fully loaded because of there equiptment in back. by this i fiqure 3400 cu feet but they charged for 4600. we were over a barrel because we sold the house but because they were late we were late leaving, cost us $250,also another months storage fee. also because goodmove sales man did not tell movers about motorcycle or storage unit was charged extra. they also made us pay up front money but we were over a barrel, this is not industry norm. but mostly mad because they have not delivered our stuff. they showed up september 29 and this is november 22. probably not even on the truck. industry norm is three weeks if problem with truck after dozens of calls with them making excuses and promises when they would answer still nothing. called this morning on 5 numbers,3 answeing machines, one no answer and one disconnected. trying to fiqure out the right police department to call. a worry for me is on another website which made them look good, 6 of the last 7 reviews where bad, are they guiting business.

One of the worst experiences, lousy customer service, lousy moving service, first they give you a price that is for 300 cubic feet and when making the inventory they overload you with space, in the end, for an apartment with only one bedroom they overcharged me for 500 cubic feet, I ended up paying $1000 more for the service, at the time of delivery it took more than 7 hours to be able to unload my things from the truck, they did not know how to put together the only piece of furniture I brought, and they left me as They were able to, in short, if you don't want to leave a bad taste in your mouth, never hire this service
