These movers were contracted by a broker (New Horizon Moving & Storage - DO NOT use them) that I hired to make my move. They showed up when they were suppose to. I showed them all the items on my list that was suppose to go. They told me that a few items would cost extra to move and that all my items would be over the cubic feet that I was quoted by my broker. I was not a happy person. I told them I didn't want to pay anything extra and what would be the items that they would be able to take according to the cubic feet that I was quoted. They would not be able to tell me anything or put anything on the truck until I signed the bill of lading. The bill of lading would tell me what would be on the truck. I just don't understand why I would sign something not knowing what would be on the truck. Not only that, the bill of lading had a different amount than what I was quoted. Trying to scam me to pay a higher amount. i had called my broker and the movers called their bosses. I don't know what their conversation was but my broker told them that I wasn't going to pay anything more than what I was quoted. The next thing these movers asked was to take a lunch break (this was at 4:30pm - yes they said lunch break) because it was going to be a long day. I figured they ment dinner break. Regardless - they left at 4:30pm and at 7pm I contacted them to see when would they be back. Upon them answering the call they told me that I had misdialed and they were not the movers but a construction company. Do they think I'm stupid - I had their number on my caller ID on my cell phone. All I needed to do was just tap the number. No need to dial one number at a time.

Please check BBB before hiring any movers. Even if they are brokers. They are all scammers.
