If I could give negative stars I would...

I had a move from Florida to wisconsin, spoke with a gentleman and decided to move forward using this company. I wish I hadn't. I will get to that in a minute. The day of my move December 18th 2023 was perfectly fine had some extra items whi h I had already expected I would need to pay extra for, that was fine and the two gentle man that moved my items were perfectly nice. However the drop off is where everything went to he'll. Before the items were even dropped off the two men told my sister she would have to pay 100 dollars because of a set of stairs. Now when I initially started the process I was assured one flight of steps was fine. Then a surprise when that is a lie at drop off red flag number one. My poor sister paid the 100 dollars which was not documented on the reciept and they dropped off my items. While taking inventory later that day I noticed I was missing a 32 inch tv and a purple checked bag suitcase that contained non replaceable books, as well as two of my lamps were broken at the socket where the light bulb goes in. I immediately panicked and called the customer service. I spoke with a women and she assured me she would speak with the drivers to find out what happened. I re ieved a voicemail which I still have Mayne 30 minutes later stating my items had been mistakenly left on the truck and would be dropped off when the truck circled back in about two weeks. Annoying but ok fine. Those two weeks go by and I contact customer service again and again receive an voice mail which I still have that states that it wasn't just my items missing but others as well as the shipments the trucks got mixed up and others got the wrong items. Please be patient while we figure this out. I was patient. When I contacted them again I was told that no the items wre lost and to file a claim. So I did. And do you want to know what the people from the claims told me, they do not work with your company. Excuse my language but what the fuck. It has been months and my items are still missing and there has been no resolve to this.

Very stressful move

Started out with a quote for $3800 with descriptions on what we had which totaled to around 93 items moving van solutions came as that who was hired out by Global and they showed up and was only able to load 35 items unless we pay an additional $3500 pretty much double from original quote. In the end we had no choice as it was moving day pretty shitty deal if you ask me. Then was told by crew lead it would be 3-7 day delivery from PA to Florida, ok that’s acceptable …..we’ll it turned into 2.5 weeks totally pissed, then the movers didn’t even unwrap my items or put my items together, that’s what I paid for and no one bothered to own up to this neither company. Global did come back with a $150 refund slap in the face considering the movers left all their trash and what I mentioned earlier, I actually calculated should be close to $1400 refund considering the extra work my family did. Oh yeah that $150 refund Global wanted to give me was to also keep me quiet and it give a bad review , hush money ……what a joke and that was Michael I dealt with and when I turned it down he got angry. I would not recommend Global Elite Relocation Services

Regarding the increase in cost, it's important to note that the initial quote of $3,800 was based on the information provided to us, which included descriptions of the items you were planning to move. However, when our moving crew arrived at your location, they identified an additional 23 items that were not included in the original estimate. These additional items contributed to an increase in the volume of your shipment by 561 cubic feet, which naturally led to an increase in the cost of your move. We understand that this change in cost can be frustrating, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Although, this is clearly stated in the estimate you signed on multiple occasions. (see below) During booking as well our Quality assurance call you were reminded of this.


Understanding Your Estimate

We are happy to provide you, the Customer, this estimate based on the list of items and services you requested at the time this estimate was prepared. This BINDING estimate is based upon the specific items to be moved and services ordered as listed on the estimate. Your estimated price will not change unless you order additional services, add additional items to be moved, or additional weight or cubic feet to be moved which are not listed on the estimate. This document is an estimate only and not a contract; it is only binding for the specific services and items listed here within; any deviation of the services listed and ordered will result in a new estimate being issued. In such cases, a revised written visual estimate must be executed prior to any services being performed.

As for the delivery time, we apologize for the extended delay in getting your belongings from Pennsylvania to Florida. We strive to meet our estimated delivery windows, but sometimes unforeseen circumstances, such as weather or road conditions, can impact our schedules. We understand your frustration and regret any inconvenience this may have caused.
Regarding the assembly and unwrapping of your items, our standard service includes the disassembly and reassembly of furniture items. If this was not done as expected, we sincerely apologize for the oversight. We will investigate this matter to ensure our crews adhere to our service standards in the future.
We also regret the inconvenience of having to deal with the trash left behind by our crew. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we will address this with our team to ensure it doesn't happen in the future.
Regarding the refund of $150, we apologize if this offer seemed inadequate. This offer was made before delivery to aid in the overage of your additional items. Following delivery, we offered a higher amount as compensation for any inconvenience. Yet, we never received a single response from you regarding this higher amount of compensation.

Our movers were Great.

Our movers were Great. They did a great job loading up our stuff quickly and unloading it where we wanted. They wrapped up all our furniture with quality packaging that protected it during transit. We had a 2-bedroom house with a full garage to move, and they got it done in under 6 hours, which was amazing. With the moving deal we purchased here, the value was pretty good.

Ghosted after pick up

I went through global elite. They say they pride themselves on customer service. Thats a lie. The 3rd party (the moving depot) that showed up in a rental truck a day late, threw my boxes around like nothing, left their garbage all over my house, missed items tagged for moving, only could pay cash or thru zelle, charged me 1500 extra, and then ghosted me. Haven't responded to emails or voicemails left with the company confirming my delivery date. They emailed me 10/26 to confirm delivery date with the delivery date section left blank. I responded 10/26,10/31,11/3,11/6 and called and left voicemail 11/6,11/7,11/8 and today is 11/9. I've had not even one response. This company is a scam, IF I receive my stuff I'm sure it will all be broken and their free insurance is 60 cents per pound so that won't cover the damaged or most likely not delivered items.

Regarding the price increase, your price did not increase by $1,500 as you stated; instead, it increased by $935. This was due to the increase in the total volume of your shipment by 170 cubic feet, charged at $5 per cubic foot, plus fuel. We have all the paperwork, including the bill of lading that has every single item loaded onto the truck in writing in an itemized inventory, which you signed 14 times, confirming the item increase and the associated costs. We understand that unexpected charges can be frustrating and apologize for any confusion.

In terms of communication, we are committed to addressing your concerns and providing world-class customer service. We were not aware of the issues you mentioned, and we sincerely apologize for any oversight on our part. Please accept our assurance that we are dedicated to resolving these matters promptly.

As for your delivery date, on the bill of lading you signed to your first available delivery date being November 24th, 2023 between the hours of 10am and 10pm.

Cancellation.

This company is terrible. I dealt with one lady on the phone for at least two days. I signed the estimate less than 20 hours later. I sent her an email from the emails she sent me and told her I’d like to cancel it this time we’re not gonna move furniture For now. she emailed me back saying well I hope you’re not changing your mind due to money. long story short I have quite a few emails back-and-forth and I told her just refund my money. It’s only been a day and it’s 40 days before the move, she didn’t tell me or give me a direct email to cancel. (I wasn’t home to read the estimate that I signed ) she had her boss call me and try to talk me into staying and , neither one of them told me that this isn’t the email you send for cancellation. I sent it to the email I’ve been dealing with the lady since day one. And remember, she emailed me back two times. Now they’re sticking me over $400 terrible company not a way to do business I well not recommend anybody that these people.

Buyer beware of pushy salesman and expensive contracts

I hired this company to do a small move of 250 cu ft. from NH to FL for 8/31. I asked about any hidden fees or cancellations, as it was a lengthy contract to be signing on the spot, over the phone, and could take a while to read. I was assured, in an aggressive manner, that they are a legitimate company and that nothing is hidden. I put a $520 deposit down on 8/18 and had to cancel the move on 8/25, due to us not closing on our house. They told me I was out the deposit because I was outside the 72 hour cancellation window, from when I booked. I gave 7 days notice to fill the space that I was using and they told me "too bad". These gentlemen are pushy and aggressive and the cancellation call even escalated to him yelling, once I told him that I would get my credit card company involved. Buyer beware of this company! I'm just glad I did not trust them with the few valuable possessions I had. Would never recommend.

Global Elite Relocation Services a five star company. My family and I are extremely grateful for everything they did for us. The crew was very friendly and respectful and i am personally very thankful for the hard work and respectfulness shown by the crew during our move. They went over and beyond, way beyond my financial capacity. This being our first time using a moving company we were unprepared in a few ways and they did an outstanding job tending to our needs and making sure our move was complete. The job went very well. The three-person crew consisting of Steven, Asa, and Chris were courteous, efficient, and professional. Excellent move

Excellent move... 0 problems. From changing my initial move date, to covering all our woodwork and staying away from corners and walls, and happily handling some special requests to move exercise equipment, my movers and their support staff were all about providing outstanding service. I've moved several times and my crew by far was the most careful and respectful of any company I've used. They were clean, on time, well prepared, and got the job done in the amount of time I had requested.

I contacted Global elite relocation services Movers about a month in advance of my move. They were very thorough and informative with pricing/estimates. On my move in day the crew arrived on time and even with an additional helper at no extra charge. They did my move in less time than was quoted and all of my items were well cared for. I will be using them for any future move!
