I have used GetMovers several times since 2021 and I’m always impressed with the level of service provided to me. They are diligent with set up and most importantly extremely cautious, communicative, and helpful during the move. I have recommended their crew to several friends and family. Interestingly, I found them as I was driving and noticed the intriguing name on their truck. This company was great to communicate with, from beginning to end. Note though that the more accurate info you provide them in regards to what belongings you actually have, the more seamless your experience will be, especially if you're having them do all the packing. The guys were prompt and showed up super early in the morning. They were extremely careful with my belongings. I'm especially worried about having furniture being dented, freshly painted walls being damaged. Not to worry. I watched the process and everything went unbelievably smoothly. These guys were even able to fit a massive couch through a doorway I didn't think it would fit through. Took a bit of maneuvering, but they were persistent. My kind of guys! Great work!

I don't know how this company is doing in other provinces, but the job they did for in Halifax was great. It wasn't a large move but still, we had some bulky items that had to be moved through tights spots. They disassembled what they could, and after 3 hours we were already at my new place. It took them a couple more hours to place all the furniture the way I wanted it and assemble the stuff they took apart. Crew was nice. This company can be trusted, at least with household moves.

Get movers were so efficient! We had 3 people at pick-up in Toronto ON. We were out of the 2-bedroom apartment in 2.5 hours. Everything was very securely wrapped. The next day at unloading/drop off into storage we also were in/out in 2 hours with only 2 staff members. We highly recommend these movers for interstate moves! Tip: Get your drivers phone number. Get Movers HQ tries to simplify service by going through their call center and is a middle man. If you want to change plans - talking to your driver is the fastest way.

Oh my goodness, I can't even express how great these guys were! We hired them for a huge office move, and they totally rocked it! The crew they sent was so friendly and on top of things. OMG!!! I couldn't agree more! This moving business is absolutely amazing! I've used other moving companies before, but this experience with them beats the others by miles! Let me share some of the highlights that made this move so exceptional:

1.Prompt and professional communication: Right from the start, their communication was on point. I received my quote, and they kept me informed every step of the way. They delivered on their promises, and I really appreciated the clear expectations they set. On the move day, they arrived within the provided window, and even better, they showed up on the earlier end of it! Talk about starting the day on the right foot!

2.Efficient service: Wow, these guys are true experts! You can tell they know what they're doing. They handled my items with such care and moved everything so quickly! It was like watching a well-coordinated dance. They were so efficient that my mountain of stuff didn't stand a chance; they blasted through it like it was a piece of cake. I don't usually write a bad review for a company but hiring Get Movers was a terrible experience for us and I feel the need to warn others. When the moving truck arrived with a name on it that we didn't recognize, it became clear that they subcontract - so there is unpredictability there and you don't know the quality of the movers you're going to get.

The movers took items to our storage area off site and at that site they pressured us into paying before they finished the job. When we got home from the storage unit we found gouges in our wall, scratches all over our basement floor and extensive damage to our basement door and trim around it.

On the same day, we sent an email with photos of the damage, which they completely ignored. After numerous attempts at getting through to them they sent us a claim form which we filled out, and after two weeks they still didn't get back to us to resolve the issue. So again we had to contact them and when they finally responded they said they rejected our claim because we already paid them. They made us pay them when we were off site and couldn't check to see if there was damage at the house. When we told them that, they again ignored us and haven't bothered to reply.

It's incredibly frustrating to deal with a company that claims to have great customer service and exceptionally professional staff when in reality they have given us horrible service and damaged our home. The person at Get Movers who we dealt with is Victor Kerr, who didn't care at all about us and treated us with contempt.
