Two moves within NYC.

I moved with flat rate twice within the last 3 years. Both moves were equally positive experiences. There were no hidden costs, the quotes were above board and honest. The movers arrived on time, were professional and very careful. We highly recommend flat rate.

Professional Service, Top Tier Team.

I had fantastic move with FlatRate this weekend. They boxed up the remaining personal and fragile items I was unable to pack. They also took apart my furniture and took the utmost care wrapping everything. The men were professional, prompt, kind and extremely communicative. They were respectful of all my belongings and really, really hard workers!

Great moving company.

It is the 2nd time I use flatrate moving and I wasn't disappointed!
Emmanuel helped me for the 2nd time with scheduling and paperwork and the day of the moving the 3 movers were nice, respectful, and did a great job. I highly recommend this moving company.

I was informed of everything; arrival of movers that picked up and delivered my items, tracking of truck via email and text.

I was happy the delivery was within the least amount of time.

The movers were detailed and courteous.

Destroyed my TV.

FlatRate smashed my 50 inch plasma television during the move. Then they only offered to compensate me 60 cents per pound. That turned out to be $36 for a $2000 television. They also broke a lamp and showed up hours late. Do not use this company !

Worst Movers Ever.

Called them one month in advance of move. They quoted me a high up front price, but promised no more surprises. I got screwed. the movers showed up late and missed my scheduled time in the elevator even though this was the time the workman told me to schedule. it cost me an extra $400 to rebook for later in the day. then they stayed past the buildings 6pm curfew for moves, and the blg property manager threatened to stop my move unless I agreed to pay another $100 late fee. even with all the extra time, the movers still managed to damage my furniture. they put a hole through my leather sofa and broke my table. don't use them if you care about your stuff. i've had much better experiences with two men and a truck for local moves and vanlines for long distance.

First time having movers pack.

I moved with Flatrate earlier this year and it was excellent. I have moved with them in the past but this was the first time I had them pack for me. I'll never do it any other way! They handled everything! I highly recommend them.

Friendly Not Pushy.

Straight up honest, and not pushy at all. I moved from NYC to MD, so it was a two day move where they picked things up one day and dropped it off the next. Everyone was respectful and to the point. From the dispatch guys to the movers were friendly, but had a no nonsense 'get work done' attitude.
