First Choice Removals

Avoid Avoid.

Used these guys 2 weeks ago.I picked them based on previous reviews. This leads me to believe most are fake reviews.

Having moved approx 30 times we have seen lots of removalists.

Whilst they arrived on time and did minimal damage they were the slowest and most expensive we have ever had.

The owner Justin spent most of the day on the phone while the other 2 guys moved at snail pace all day.

I could have used Kent and had all the packing done with suppliiedboxes and wrapping for the same price. .

We moved about 60% of the total of our belongings that we moved in February. . That was cheaper and took half the time. We had them drive between locations , for pick up and drop offs, but even allowing a generous amount of time for that they were still double the time and because of the hourly rate the cost.

I suggested they review the cost and was abused and told I was rude to suggest they were slow.

DO NOTuse this mob on an hourly rate.

Very Poor .

The owner didn’t even know the Surnames of the Guys he had working for him. So that says it all..

We chose First Choice to move us from the Gold Coast to Bribie island. They also did the pre-pack for us a few days before the actual move. Right from the start the team members were a pleasure to work with. They were at all times professional and focussed, but also friendly, which made what would have been a very stressful move a really comfortable experience. Nothing was too much for Justin, his father and the team. They worked incredibly hard throughout a very long day - packing up on the Gold Coast, travelling for nearly 3 hours and unpacking at Bribie Island. I would not hesitate to recommend this team to anyone making a move
