Above and Beyond.

Every aspect of our complex estate move was taken care of with empathy and patience by GoodView Moving and Storage and all of the business was done with sentimentals with the utmost care and respect. 5 star communication!

Long-distance move from Norristown, PA to Perrysburg, OH

Robert

My step daughter got an estimate from broker, once Good view arrived on moving day the rates tripled, became sq ft , etc ….

Then they stated they had 21 days to get move completed. She was going to cancel as 21 days was too long. The Man in charge got on phone and then said they would have it there in 2 days, so she agreed.

Well the 2 days came and no delivery after she hurried 2 states away to be sure she was there. Then the excuses came one after another or couldn’t get anyone on the phone. They said the contract said 21 days so be careful and read the fine print Don’t believe anything they say. They took 20 days until she got the delivery and they wanted cash or money order, not a credit card. My step daughter had to buy air mattresses for her and 2 boys , no clothes for grandkids to start school and nothing to prepare or cook food. They were really put out and struggled with basically nothing. They also moved items on/off trucks into warehouse until they had multiple moves going in same direction. I would not recommend using this company.

Long-distance move from Irwinton, GA to Tampico, IL

Dependable service

The garage, bedrooms, and living room were all part of this relocation, so keeping the workload organized mattered. The movers cleared the larger pieces first and used the remaining space for boxes. Their approach kept the loading area relatively open. Unloading was handled in a similar order. The service was dependable, with a few coordination details that could be improved.

Long-distance move from New York to Florida

The worst company ever

If I could give GoodMoving zero stars, I would. This was, without question, the worst moving experience I have ever had.

Goodview Moving to handle my belongings, and the experience was the worse in my life. My shipment arrived 48 days after my First Available Delivery Date—nearly two months later. Several boxes arrived crushed or torn, fragile boxes had clearly been placed underneath heavier items, multiple belongings were damaged, boxes were missing, and my son’s double dresser arrived completely destroyed and structurally unusable.

The delivery crew also appeared to be in a rush to unload everything and leave. I had paid for reassembly service, but I had to remain extremely attentive and repeatedly make sure they completed the service for which I had already paid. My calls were not properly addressed, I was repeatedly told someone would call me back, and those promised callbacks never came.

Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Goodview Moving. The price increased from approximately $3,000 to nearly $9,000, the shipment arrived 48 days late, property was damaged, boxes were missing, and the customer support I was promised never materialized. This move caused an enormous amount of stress, frustration, and financial loss. I strongly encourage anyone considering these companies to look elsewhere.

My move from OH to WI

Menards moving and storage and Goodview moving and storage are the worst moving companies ever! They are both the scum of the earth. They are very deceitful! Goodview held my belonging hostage because I wouldn’t pay $1929 more in an already binding contract! Menards moving and storage purposely low balls their cubic feet estimate, so at the last minute right when the driver arrives, he demands my signature and more money! I’ve already posted a much longer review a couple hours ago and it is conveniently not on Goodviews reviews

Long-distance move from Brooklyn, NY to Boca Raton, FL

Worst moving broker and company to ever exist

Terrible terrible human beings work at this company. Scammed us from start to finish. We kept thinking let’s just stay with them we’re already in it and will lose our deposit. We should have ran away as soon as the first hurdle came up- which was including packing in t he cost verbally but it was nowhere to be found in the contract they pushed us to sign while on the phone. They charged us for more square footage once they came to pickup (seems like they’ve done this to all their customers), and we have images of all our things measured to show otherwise. Then they don’t deliver our things for 5 weeks. When they finally come, they don’t actually show up by our door. Nope they decide moving people to residential areas needs a semi truck. So it’s an additional $800 to bring it to our door. We got a U-Haul and quickly drove 20 minutes north (why couldn’t they stay local??) to grab our things. Sadly they stole 5k worth of tools from us. 3 pack outs filled with my husbands things he’s been waiting on are all missing. To say we are upset would be a huge understatement.

Long-distance move from Newport, RI to Wilmington, NC

Do Not Use!

We hired Fast to do a long distance move. The cost doubled from the original estimate to the final cost. We had to hire a 2nd mover since Fast left 1/5 of our belongings behind. They delivered many days later than promised. Numerous items including things they packed were delivered broken including furniture & artwork. Several things were missing. The workers were clearly not professional & inexperienced. We have moved a few times & have never encountered a company with less regard for our belongings, many of which are irreplaceable. This company is a complete disgrace & should not be in the moving business.

Best movers!!

The movers came prepared for a workload that was definitely larger than it looked. They kept the process structured and worked through each section without unnecessary downtime. Fragile items received the attention they needed. Furniture was loaded with a smart use of available space. The entire move felt well managed.

Friendly and professional guys

From the first box to the final piece of furniture, the crew maintained a good workflow. They stayed organized even when the workload increased. Fragile belongings were handled thoughtfully throughout the relocation. The communication was friendly and easy to follow. We couldn't have asked for a smoother moving day.

Worst experience with a mover

Movers were rude, didn't speak English, complained about everything, didn't have enough packing materials and just left over $ 3000.00 dollars of my tool behind. I was told 7-15 days for delivery and we're now at 20 days and we've not received our goods. Be careful using this company.

They were really very professional!

We are a military family and we move a lot, and this has been one of our best experiences due to hiring the movers from GoodView Moving and Storage. The moving crew was punctual, very careful with the packing and unpacking of the moving boxes and presented them to our new home early. They were really very professional!

Nice movers

Our kitchen had more fragile boxes than expected, so I was glad the packing and loading were handled carefully. The crew separated those cartons and avoided stacking heavier items on top. That showed good attention to detail. The move took slightly longer than planned. Even with that, the service was generally good.

Team members are honest!

The carpet was new and we were afraid that we'd ruin it with moving heavy furniture in our new home. However, the movers had prepared themselves so they put all walkways with padding and made sure that nothing was dragging on the floor. When they left the carpets were still brand new! Kudos to them!

Brave Movers.

It was bad luck to be on the road during a blizzard, but this moving company couldn't have moved any faster. They now had protective covers, shoveled pathways, and even knew their way around the ice like pros. It was all delivered dry, safe and in good condition. I applaud them!

Very hard working group of guys.

We chose the full packing service and it was a great value for our money. The packers were on site two days prior to the move with boxes, bubble wrap and crates built just for us. In record time they emptied our whole kitchen and delicate china without breaking anything.

Team members are honest!

The guys helped lift a heavy sectional sofa, which they did just fine. They wrapped the sofa carefully, planned the route through the house, and maneuvered it through the doorway without damaging the walls. Their coordination was amazing, and they did the rest of the transfer with the same rigor.

Well organized!

We were anxious about the old bookshelves and the old rare books because of our bookstore relocation, which was much needed. I have found that this company's movers were extremely careful with my belongings and they even used custom padding for fragile items and made sure that the layout of the new store was exactly as I envisioned it.
