Hi, I wanted to share my experience with this company. They've moved all my stuff in professional way without any damage to the furniture and my old apt. Honestly this is the first time I've moved without any damage. WAY TO GO! I had some special boxes that I wanted special attention to (since they were full of sentimental value things) and as soon as I mentioned it to them. They stop everything they were doing and made a plan to process those boxes with extra care. They placed them carefully in the truck and made sure that nothing would happen to them. I really appreciated all what they've done for me within the short time frame I gave them. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs movers! 100% satisfied!

After getting the transfer approved for my job I needed to find a moving service. After a few days of shopping around I picked this company because of comfort I felt from their representatives who explained everything, from their services to advice on packing.The movers arrived on time and were very polite. The delivery came within the anticipated time frame and with everything packed properly, I had no damages. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future.

Definitely a top quality moving company and I don't think I'll be using any others in the future. They provided the least stressful move I've ever had, and that's surprising since I've only had in-state moves before! Arrived safely in Florida with not a single scratch on anything. Quote was reasonable and worth every penny. Never had mover workers take care of my our possessions as well as these guys did, surprising work ethic for movers. My fiance and I had been planning this move for a while but weren't sure what company we could trust with our mess of an apartment, but everyone really went above and beyond with their work. Extremely satisfied and would recommend to anyone.

Evergreen Van Lines did a great job with my local move. On the day of the move we were a little behind getting things ready but they took apart our beds, tables and just worked with speed and grace. The crew was awesome - very professional and cool. We only moved a few miles away but moving is moving and so glad we chose them. Once at our new home, the movers did not damage anything and they way they wrapped our dressers with blankets and how they taped things worked well. I moved our own fragile stuff like T.V. boxes with delicates but that is a common sense thing to do.

I needed contents of my storage unit moved from Cumming to Blairsville, Georgia. Marcos, Evergreen Van Lines moving team had such positive attitudes and were fun to be around. They arrived in Blairsville just as I was completing the paperwork for my new unit, much earlier than I expected. And they made all the stuff from my 10 by 15 unit fit into a 10 by 10 unit. The cost was also less than half that quoted by another mover, so I saved a lot of money. Great experience!

This company was a pleasure to work with and the move was completed very satisfactorily. The three gentlemen who moved us were courteous, efficient, and very professional. They were so positive and hard working even with the extreme heat and having to go to two different addresses to complete the move. They wrapped all the necessary furniture well to protect it and were extremely careful as they moved and placed items; even having to change where they placed a queen bed. We were so relieved and would highly recommend them to anyone. We hope to use this company again and hopefully, the same three men again, when we have found a permanent apartment. The phone communications and text communications were also most pleasant. Thank you so much!

My first experience with Evergreen Van Lines was in 2018 and since then I use Evergreen Van Lines exclusively for all my moves. They even picked up my upright grand piano from Airport and transported it safely to my condo a few years ago. Evergreen Van Lines are a not pricey than the average movers but they're just incomparable to other moving services. They are stress free, reliable, fast and on time every time. Movers are respectful, friendly and courteous. My friends and family have used their services and they were all very impressed. I highly recommend Evergreen Van Lines.

Short story:

It is pointless to use this company they charged me $2,000 and all they did was give me a bad estimate, to bait and switch me, and then call a random moving company to come to my house, whom had no responsibility to match the price I was quoted. Save yourself $2,000 and call a moving company directly. You get nothing by using Evergreen Van Lines and you get no discounts by using Evergreen Van Lines, you only lose. Do not let them take advantage of you as they did me.

Long story:

I was moving from Denver to Texas (they know who I am and I have been trying to get a response from them but after they take your money, they cannot be reached) and needed the contents of my home to be moved. I called almost two months in advance to get quotes from multiple moving companies. I went with Evergreen Van Lines as they were the cheapest estimate. For 1100 cubed feet they quoted me $6,850. I paid the percentage down to “lock in the rate”. A month goes by and I hear nothing from them, two weeks before the move I start to call to confirm that everything was set up and on time. I spoke to multiple people at Evergreen Van Lined whom assured me that everything was good to go and that another person would call me to do a final “review” with me. The person finally called the day before the move (and he did not work for Evergreen Van Lines or the actual moving company he worked for a third company called First National Van Lines). We did the final review and he found that I actually needed 300 more cubed feet of space for a new total of 1400. I had to then call in and pay $658 more dollars or they would not even call the movers for me and I would lose the original deposit I made. So, either I had to pay them more or they would just take my original “deposit” and leave my high and dry. On top of this, the moving company was late and I had to pay an additional $580 to the new owner of the house I sold because my stuff was still there when they were supposed to take possession. Again let me emphasize that I called Evergreen Van Lines every day for two weeks straight to prevent this from happening.

Finally, the movers come late and then they do their walkthrough and estimate how much it is going to be. The estimate they gave me was for 1850 cubic feet for a huge total of $10,890!!!!! So my move went from $6,850 to a whopping $10, 890 the day of the move. At this time I am infuriated (as most people would be) and he tells me that if I send him away I will lose the $2,000 “deposit” that I gave to Evergreen Van Lines. Not only would I lose that money but I would also have to pay the new owners of my home another fee for not being out. The mover said that Evergreen Van Lines is completely separate from the moving company and all they did was call him to pick my stuff up. The mover then informed me that I was never going to see that $2,000 “deposit” back no matter what and he has no responsibility to come close to the estimate that Evergreen Van Lines gave me.

The movers load all of my stuff and hand me a bill of $9,270.69 of which, I have to pay half-upfront (makes since) and then half in CASH when they deliver it. In addition, the movers inform me that there could be some extra charges at delivery that they cannot foresee yet and they will assign it to me at that time. Of course, they will not unload my stuff until I pay them in CASH first.

If you use Evergreen Van Lines or First National Van Lines you will be held in a hostage situation where you WILL lose thousands of dollars. I am not an anonyms person who is writing this I welcome anyone from any of the companies to reach out to me; but they will not because they know what they did was criminal.

My mother and I moved within a few weeks of each other and we both used this company. We've both had previous horror stories with other companies, and just wanted to find a reliable company that would move our belongings safely. I'm a pretty bossy girl who thinks that most people are halfwits, when these guys arrived, I didn't have to do a blo ody thing. I actually felt like I was in the way! They worked fast and efficiently like a well-trained team. Nothing was broken or scratched, they didn't take a million smoke breaks, they didn't send a feeble old man to lift heavy items, and I was impressed! I will 100% use this company for my next move.

I was moving from Boynton Beach, Florida to Lake Worth in Florida. I did an online quote referral where I was given different companies. I asked for a more in-depth quote and Evergreen Van Lines came back with a favorable report so we hired them. The moving crew was very helpful and efficient. They arrived on time and everything was done very well. I would highly recommend them to a friend who’s thinking of moving. I also gave their contact information to our real estate agent when they were looking for a mover and she had them do it.

Evergreen Van Lines was recommended by somebody. I was relocating to Florida from Ohio and the moving coordinator who assisted me with the purchase was excellent. The moving consultant was very good and very helpful, and the crew was terrific and very friendly. We were very pleased with them. They were very fast and very efficient. They did an excellent job of packing us and moving an awful lot of things. 1,100 miles and nothing was broken. The entire process was very good from the person who came to our home and estimated the job, all the way through to the coordinator and the movers themselves, who were excellent. I'd definitely recommend them.

Warning! Veteran-owned Long Distance Moving Company Scammed Veterans. Evergreen Van Lines, LLC doubled the price of contract day of move due to intentional and false information written in contract about cubic feet and is refusing to refund my deposit citing customer forfeiture because I refused to pay the additional amount. The original signed contract was for $2324 to move items from a Storage facility from Boston to Maryland. The price quoted was based on the size of the unit and an estimation of items stored since I had not been to unit in over a year and could not remember exactly everything stored. However, I was able to provide a description of the main items (beds, sofa, tv’s, kitchen table, approx. number of boxes, etc.). Moving day, they showed up and stated that my cubic feet was more than what was written in the contract and as a result, I would be charged an additional $3000 for the move which meant that the adjusted bill would have been $5324. How is that possible? Legal? Ethical? I will not rest until I get my refund! Unethical Business Practices!

I initially contacted Evergreen February 2021 for my upcoming move in June. All was going well up to the actual move. I had set up my move for 26 June. I was told I would be called the day before withe the time the movers would show. Well no one called the day before. I called them and was told they would have to use my backup date the 27th, and again someone would call with the time the movers would show. Again no call. I called and called, I finally got someone on the phone and was told everything was good and someone would be calling in a few hours. Now my move was on the weekend and they are basically closed. Nobody called! I had to scramble and arrange for another mover last minute as I had to be out of the house that I had sold .. Well I got another mover(much more money). Got moved a day later than my schedule.. Bottom line save yourself the headache and find another movers, pay the extra money. Stay away from Evergreen. On a positive note, they did quickly refund my deposits after I emailed them. Oh, and not one call to apologize.

Evergreen Van Lines, LLC deserves Zero star for the worst service that we have ever dealt with.

Be aware that Evergreen is NOT a full-service moving company with their own trucks, and they are simply a moving coordinator/broker (hidden in the fine print of their website).

In addition, they are NOT Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited.

So don’t be fooled by all the good reviews and low moving estimates.

If you read my review below, you will understand how they take advantage of innocent customers.

In early May, we arranged four moves together from Cleveland, OH to Dallas, TX with Scott (point of contact at Evergreen) who set up this scam.

Until getting quotes and depositing 1/3 of their moving estimates, they were very responsive.

However, as soon as they received the deposit, their attitude changed completely.

Prior to the scheduled pick-up dates on 6/28/2021 and 6/29/2021, their dispatch team didn’t call us to confirm the final details, and nobody responded back to our phone calls, voice messages, and emails in a timely manner.

Their estimates were absolutely inaccurate even after FaceTime video walk-through.

Here is how much they quoted and how much I ended up paying: My house (estimated $9,100 but paid 15,756, almost 1,000 cu ft discrepancy without additional items), University lab (estimated $2,535 but paid $3,685), Company lab (estimated $3,715 but paid $4,764) and Dr. J’s house (estimated $5,091 but paid $7,440).

We strongly believe that they intentionally underquoted moving costs, misled us into signing the contract, and then surprised us with the bill on the day of the move.

Since they failed to pick up our stuffs on the dates scheduled two months ago, we had to reschedule it.

They refused to compensate additional costs incurred by the rescheduling, including labor costs of helpers, renting storage spaces, hotel booking, cancelation of travel reservation, etc.

On the rescheduled pick-up dates on 7/2/2021 and 7/3/2021, they hired a very small, local moving company, whom had no responsibility to match the quoted price.

We had no choice but to accept the final bills because it was too late to find another moving company, and we would lose our deposit (a total of $6,870 for our four moves) if canceling.

It took us three weeks to have our stuffs delivered.

Of course, there were dozens of items broken, and the movers refused to assemble furniture they disassembled.

Oh, I didn’t mention the worst part yet.

Evergreen allocated $680 out of $3,200 deposit without our consent for non-existing “full value protection” insurance and refused to refund the money unless we sign an unfair agreement, essentially prohibiting us from suing Evergreen and posting bad reviews.

Now we clearly understand how they do business and maintain their good reviews.

They took our deposit illegally and held us in a hostage situation, trying to make us unable to hire another moving company and write bad reviews.

What they did to us is criminal, and Evergreen Van Lines is a scam.

We will bring a lawsuit with our lawyer against Evergreen Van Lines for their wrong doings.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $16000

They basically get a portion of the money for the move as finders fee. They make the deal with you and then hand it off to the lowest bidder who will not honor the agreements you had with Evergreen. A move that was agreed with Evergreen to be done is 7 to 14 days took a month. Our household goods sat for almost 2 weeks in San Jose, CA in a warehouse of Air1 Movers, then when they finally decided to actually move our goods to the east coast, they took them to Chicago (at another moving company). There, they sat for another week before being moved to TN. When the did arrive, it was Budget rental truck with one guy. He had to delay moving us in while he advertised on Craigslist to get some help to unload the truck. Needless to say, with all this re-handling and passing things off, several items are damaged and missing. Find a different company to help you move! Once Evergreen makes the deal, they GHOST you bigtime! They don't return your calls or even care about you or your deal with them.

DO NOT USE. THE WORST COMPANY WE HAVE EVER WORKED WITH.

Background: Military family moving from TX to VA. We booked the move ourselves (not through the military). Scheduled move 3 months out to ensure we get the dates we needed. Large 4+ bedroom move. Gave deposit of $3k at the time of booking.

We received a call the week of our move confirming our move date and times. The foreman was supposed to come the day before our move (Friday) to inventory and do paperwork. Friday comes and we have heard nothing from the foreman or Evergreen. I called them late on Friday (day before our move) to inquire about the status of our move since I had heard nothing from them. After calling 10+ times (a common theme in this story) they finally answer the phone and tell me that our move will not be happening the next day because "the truck broke down" and had to reschedule us for 2 days later. We had stressed to them over and over (from time of booking to the week of the move) that we had to be out of the house by our moving day and made them confirm that THIS EXACT SCENERIO would not happen to us. They promised and promised that it would not get pushed back any further and they had already lined everything up for the movers to be there on the rescheduled day (Monday). After calling 20+ times over the weekend, I finally get someone (Shelly) on the phone to confirm that the movers will be there in the morning on Monday and she confirmed that they would be at our house between 8am-10am. Obviously 10am arrives the next day and I can get a hold of anybody at Evergreen. Once I finally do, from my wifes phone because I am positive they blocked my number, they had no idea that I was supposed to be moved that day and then told me "the driver has COVID". After finally getting a manager (Adam?) on the phone he says that he received word Sunday night that "the entire moving crew has COVID" (totally not true) and that the information just never got relayed to me. They offered to reschedule for the following Saturday (1 week after our original move date). I then receive a call later that day from Shelly again saying that EVERGREEN IS COMPLETELY CANCELING MY MOVE FOREVER! They could not find anyone to move me and canceled completely on us, with no remorse or compensation other than returning our money. I then was transferred to their legal representative (Lee) when I started asking them for compensation for the thousands of dollars that we had incurred since they had canceled 3x on us. I was told by Lee that he would get back to me after talking with corporate, but no surprise, I have not heard from him in 2 days and cannot get anyone to answer my calls.

My wife, family, friends, and I will be sharing this story, and all the other terrible reviews that I have heard about, to the US NAVY Personal Property department, TANSCOM, and through the military community (forums, facebook, etc.) to make sure that this FRAUD of a company goes out of business. As someone who used to work for a moving company, this company should be destroyed for its unethical negligence and I will make sure I do everything possible to make our story heard. We will be pursuing legally.

TLDR: DO NOT be suckered in by low ball quotes, your move will not happen because they will dump your move to move someone else for more money. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Don't believe a word they say, they will lie to you just to get you off the phone.
