DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! THEY ARE SHADY AND CROOKED!! If I could leave 0 stars I would. Worst moving experience I have ever had the displeasure being a part of. They give you what I suspect is a purposefully low balled estimate to hook you, tell you it'll be 7-14 days after they pick it up, send you a 25 page contract so that they know you for sure won't read every last detail, charge you almost 200% of the estimate, sassily tell you that you should have read the contract more carefully because it's 7-14 business days from the first day of available drop off (even though you called and they said it would "for sure" be there by a specific date that was within the original 7-14 days from pick-up), lie to you and tell you it will leave Chicago on Tuesday, tell you on Tuesday (after you call them, not them call you) that it actually isn't leaving until the weekend and they can't tell you a specific day of the weekend, when the weekend ends and you call them (again, they're not about to call you) they let you know it's not actually leaving until Wednesday, then going to spend apparently 3-7 days in Georgia before it finally gets to you 1 ENTIRE MONTH after pick up. By the way, that's after the contracted 7-14 "business days" and has caused us to use more money replacing things on that truck than we saved by not going with a reputable business. AGAIN, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! THEY ARE SHADY AND CROOKED!!

Service cost: $1500

We have used the services of Elite Movers and Packers while shifting our household goods from Wisconsin to California. The quote was quite low initially and it was increased to almost $600 by the time they did the delivery at our new house in California. However, their delivery was very bad as they mishandled our SMART TV and we received it in broken condition even though the TV was packed in its original package. The TV was quite expensive and it took 6 months for them to repay only 68% of the cost after multiple emails and phone calls from our side.
They even mishandled our kid`s favourite bike and we received it in bad condition as well. They did not paid any compensation for the bicycle though as we noticed the problem after lodging the compalints about our TV.
In addition, their customer department was pathetic. They were very prompt till the time the payment was not completed from our side. However, when we complain about their delivery and handling issues, the executive simply forward the issue to their insurance department and the insurance department paid only $45 initially after 3 months of calls and emails. We were quite shocked and decline that compensation. Again after multiple rounds of email and calls, they finally paid 68% of the price of the TV and it took nearly 6 months for them to do so.

I find the dispatch and the insurance team of Elite Movers and Packers quite unprofessional and would never ever going to use their service.
If you are going to use their service, do it at your own risk.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3000

Having a horrible time with them! I seriously got carried away by the reviews. Scheduled move from Miamisburg, OH to Tampa, FL. Goods picked up on May 17th, and it's June 17th now and I still don't have an update when the truck will be loaded for delivery.
Worst part is until last week they kept saying didn't find a Trucker. Wow, a company who boasts them self fast n reliable couldn't find a truck to Tampa for a month. The 14 BUSINESS days window ended long back n still no updates. And to top it all the representative at Dispatch is very rude as if I'm having her goods. I've already paid 50% n wondering when my goods will be delivered.
I don't reciceve any updates until I call; they keep saying will call back but never do.
I've never written such a big review but now checking all possible sites to write abt these Movers.
I even posted a review on Elitemovers site but it doesn't show up.
Regret I shuldn have chosen these guys.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2400

Amazing! The movers were great! the estimate they gave me over the phone was accurate and the customer service super friendly and professional.
The movers arrived on time to move out my 1 bedroom apartment and wrapped and packed everything so carefully. They had almost all my belongings loaded within 1 hour. Moving is usually very stressful but with Elite Moving everything was a lot easier. They were super fast and they finished everything in 4 hours. I would definitely use them for our next move and would recommend them to everyone.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $620

The ethics behind this company is deplorable. I was in communication with Nick at STI Moving & Storage throughout the entire process. However, in the end, it was Elite Moving & Storage that came and destroyed my items. So confusing - how did Elite Moving & Storage come into the picture? The lack of communication & unprofessionalism are the 2 biggest reasons why you should not go with this company.

I was convinced that my 2nd experience using this company (STI) would be fine, since I moved from Chicago to Knoxville. Without hesitation, I contracted them to move me back to Chicago. The experience I received with Elite was truly a horror story.

1. They were 1 hour late within the timeframe they had given me to pick up my items. I worked from home, and they were still moving my stuff 1-1.5 hours after the designated window. I had to be on a client call during this time, so needless to say, that was very inconvenient.
2. The people that showed up to move my stuff seemed nice, but acted like they were answering a Craigslist ad. They did not look or act professional, as they did not handle items that were marked "fragile" with upmost care, and just grabbed items without a proper label/sticker.
3. I had a gut feeling that my larger furniture items weren't wrapped properly, especially since the mover just took my standing lamp as is, and said he'd, "wrap this up later when I have a box for it". My intuition was correct - they destroyed my TV Stand. It's not usable in any sense since 1 backleg is broken, and the other is cracked.
4. Beware of this company's "liability": they do not cover pressed wood (basically all wooden furniture), so my destroyed TV stand is just a waste of space. To top it all off, they lost some screws for my bar stand, so I can't put too much on there without it losing balance.
5. We're all human, and people make mistakes - however, the unprofessionalism that I received with this company makes me question why they are still in business. You would think that Customer Service would have proper training, but Ellie from Elite was unprofessional and as helpful as a doorknob. She said I needed to file a claim without further instructions, but said she "sent an email". The manager called me and made me question my experience and why I was concerned- the customer is always right, right? Not in this situation.

I spent over $2K on this move, and will now be in the market for a TV stand & bar stand. I DO NOT recommend this company.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2000

Amongst damaging some of our interior furniture (CB2, West Elm, Crate & Barrel), Elite Moving & Storage failed to wrap our outdoor furniture (even though their policy is to blanket wrap ALL furniture) - thus leaving dents and scratches all over our expensive mixed metal/wood furniture. Our stuff was mishandled several times (loading truck, unloading into storage, loading trailer, unloading) so our furniture certainly saw rough days. The insurance claim took over 6 months to get back to us. Unsatisfied with Elite Moving's inability to properly correct their wrongdoings, we went through arbitration (which is a scam, because it was their recommended arbitration company) which cost another $150. In the end, they only offered to give us $200 dollars - which isn't even enough to fix ONE piece of furniture they broke! Definitely disappointed in our experience with this company. DO NOT USE.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5500

Do not use this company! You WILL live to regret it. Any review they have that are not one star are probably posted by them. Cannot warn you enough to not use this company. I wanted to save money and am so sorry I chose this company. They are brokers and do not follow up after a negative action from their contractors. They will be very sympathetic on the phone but promise you calls back and neglect to call back . You will find that you will be chasing them and their contractors they have hooked you up with. We moved on March 28th and I am still missing items and it is May 8th. I have made about 57 calls and texts many of which are not promptly or answered at all. I have dealt with a agents named Mike, Pat, James and Jessica from Elite. Then with Raphael from Spark moving. I cannot express how frustrating this has been. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES!!. Also when they came to pack the list of items they wanted me to sign was unbelievably inaccurate. It was like they randomly wrote down items. I told the mover I could not sign it so he rewrote it but could capture things buried deep in the truck. Then after they had it on the truck I was told it would be a week away. I had been told my things would arrive the next day. Then my items arrived four days later at 2:30 a.m. in the morning. They called at 9:30 p.m. and asked it they could deliver tomorrow. I said yes then he said okay we will be there in 3 hours at midnight. I was shocked but desperate so I said okay. They didn't arrive till 2:30 a.m. Then one of my boxes is missing. It has been so frustrating dealing with all the delays and lies pertaining to this box. At this point I am assuming I will never see this box again. At this point they must know my number because I wanted to file a claim and they just never answer the phone at all!

I was honestly prepared to hate whatever mover I picked. The reviews are all so dismal.. and I read plenty before choosing a mover. From first contact until the last item was set up in my home, I honestly loved everyone at Elite movers. I had a million annoying questions for the patient sales crew before I ever committed. I never sat on hold and I always felt like a priority. My move was long distance and the crew on each end were awesome. Everything was wrapped well and loaded carefully as well as placed and unwrapped with equal care. Not one single scratch, chip, crack, or brake. If you're able to wait for delivery this is absolutely the way to go. I'm told it's family owned with the owner on site.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1400

Moved from my 2 floor 3 bed house to a new place. I had around 50 boxes and tons of furniture (including exercise machines that were very very heavy). I couldn't be happier. 4 amazing guys came on time, at 7 am and by 1pm we were done. Mr. Torres, the former was very attentive and he knows very well how to do his job. Danielle, the sales lady, delivered an amazing customer service and the estimate she gave me was very accurate.
I would recommend this company to all my friends and family! Thank you Elite!!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $950

Do yourself a favor and save your time, energy and money by choosing a different moving company. The driver Elite hired to drop off my belongings displayed the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I was nickel and dimed for every charge this driver could think of. The driver then threatened to put my belongings "In f** storage" if I didn't run to the ATM and get him his "f** cash" right then and there. He then proceeded to tell the local moving company he hired to do labor to "go to hell" and started yelling and swearing at them right in front of my and my apartment complex for everyone to see. The driver sat in his truck the entire time, showed up in dirty sweatpants, flip flops and a shirt with holes all over it. When I called Elite to provide feedback about the service I was receiving, they said there was nothing they could do about it. Instead of communicating and following up with me after my phone call, Elite decided to call the driver who had been acting like a mad man all morning.

I will NOT be recommending this moving company to any friends, family or business acquaintances in the Chicago (or any) area.

I'm very happy with the service and professional service provided by Elite Moving, truly a 5-star experience. I called them about three weeks before the move, and they were able to schedule it according to my schedule. They also confirmed the move over the phone and via email.

They were timely and showed great care with all our furniture. They did some packing for us and their extra materials were at very reasonable cost and very useful. Boxes were packed efficiently and furniture was well wrapped.  The movers and everyone else I spoke to at Elite Moving were very nice and helpful.

Their overall rates are good and competitive. I will definitely recommend this company to all my friends and family. Excellent job Elite! You guys make moving such a better experience.    .

If you want your valuable stuff on time, don't move with this company. I was moving from Chicago to LA and it took them almost 1 month to get me my stuff back. It was some big and medium boxes, a sofa, a chair and a 4 person dining table. I gave my belongings to them on Feb 9, 2019 and they moved it to CA on March 6, 2019. I was starting a new job the week after I moved and I needed my passport for an interview. Unfortunately, my passport was in the stuff these guys were supposed to have moved by the time I started. I had to postpone my interview and live without my clothes, my furniture, cooking supplies for a whole month. I was very upset and called this company multiple times and after a lot of unprofessional employees, I was able to connect to the manager and she promised me $200 for the delay (even though I explicitly told her I have receipts for $500 worth of food/clothes/furniture etc. I had to get because of this delay). The guys who finally came to drop off my stuff were very unprofessional also and were going to charge me an additional $300 for labor because they bought my stuff in a big truck that according to them couldn't fit in my driveway. So they were already late and it was my fault that they decided to bring a giant freight moving truck that was low to the ground? The driver didn't even bother trying to bring the truck close to my apartment. He parked on the road outside the apartment because of fear of scraping the lower part of the truck. The charge according to him was because of the 100 or so feet they would have to walk to my apartment to move my stuff. They even used a trolley and an elevator to move my 1 bedroom worth of stuff. So the charge did not warrant the labor effort. This was basically a way to charge me for the refund they were offering. I had to pay $1600 not including additional charges for the delay. This is a very unprofessional company and doesn't care about customer satisfaction so please stay away for your sanity.

I recently moved from Chicago to the suburbs and had a great experience with Elite Moving. They were prompt, professional, reasonable, responsible at all stages of the process. Three guys showed up on time as promised and they were more than ready to work. The movers were nice, professional and super efficient. They took really good care of our stuff. All of our belongings were packed properly and fragile pieces like mirrors and glass tops were wrapped with more care.

Every time I called the office before my move to make minor changes, they were very friendly and professional.

I am so pleased with Elite Moving every step of the way in pricing and service!

We moved from the northwest suburbs to the city. Communication with the office before the move was great and all the fees were explained right away so I knew what to expect. Planning a move can be so stressful but this company made it easy from the very beginning!

The movers did a fantastic job. They were cautious, fast and wrapped all my furniture really carefully. Everything went better than expected. The price was reasonable and much less than my last moving company with the same amount of furniture!

Overall, I am extremely happy with Elite from the beginning to the end. Do yourself a favor and hire this company for your next move.

This was the worst service I have ever received from a moving company and severely overpriced. My husband had to oversee and direct the movers for the entire move. They tried to disassemble furniture incorrectly and had to be redirected by myself and my husband. This company charged $30 and $15 for “moving crates” which turned out to be no more than flat pieces of cardboard. The movers we had arrived and started billing us before they even got out of their truck or called, despite their transit time already being compensated for. I have worked with other moving companies in the area and had far better experience and unfortunately they were booked on the day of our move. Do NOT use this company unless you are okay with poor customer service and price gouging. I am so disappointed in the level of service we were provided for the amount of $ paid to this company.
