Element gave us a good estimate, with a knowledgeable salesman. Our crew, Mike, Eddie, and Jorge were terrific -- helpful, upbeat, careful, and considerate. We hit a snag at the apartment when the management had to rekey the lock to our storage -- the crew didn't let it bother them, just continued doing what they could do to use the time while the lock was being fixed. Can't say enough good things about this crew and the company. Move was done early and safely.   .

I found these guys from a Groupon deal when I was searching the area for quality movers.  After doing research, this company is accredited by the BBB, which really caught my eye.  Submitted a quote request which was promptly answered by Hollie, followed  by a phone call shortly after.  Explaining to Hollie that I had seen a deal from Groupon, and she offered to price match it right then and there to save me the trouble of going through the whole process of Groupon (A in my book).  Hollie was extremely informative and helpful. She was completely honest in estimating what I needed in order to get my move done right and on time.  When the moving day came, Mike, Eddie, and Jorge were very courteous and polite.  Paper work was straight forward, and explaination of services was spot on from what Hollie and I spoke about.  NO HIDDEN FEES or FINE PRINT.  They told me what was going to happen and made it happen.  The 3 man team came on-time, and was able to move my 2br/1bth apartment to a house 45 min away, and was able to do it under 2 hours without damaging any items.  Very cool guys to work with, would highly recommend these 3 guys to anybody seeking recommendation on moving companies.   Great Job ELEMENT! You will be hearing from me again in future moves!

Mike and Jorge were fantastic and efficient in my move. Mike jumped right it as soon as they got there, asked questions about boxes and rooms. I couldn't be happier with them, they even finished earlier than expected. It wasn't a big move but we did have a lot of breakables and big items. Everything reached it's destination safely and mike even unhooked and offered to hook up our washer and dryer (couldn't hook it up because of different outlets), which was above and beyond the call. Brandi over the phone was fantastic as well, very detailed and humorous. I felt very comfortable after talking with her and immediately scheduled a move time. Overall, awesome moving company.

The people at Element Moving are great! This is the second time in the past 7 months that I have used them and will be calling them for a third move in a few months. They are very professional and consciencous.
When I call, I automatically as for Brandi.  She is very helpful and patient. Our moving team this time consisted of La'Darrius and Jorge. They were very careful to wrap and tie all of my furniture and lamps.  They took special care to make sure that all parts were kept together.  Not 1 bolt or screw was lost! Thank you Element Moving -- I see you again in a few months.    .

This is the second time we used Element Moving in the last year. Eddy and Jorge (who were on our move a year ago) were joined by Mike on the recent move. The reason we used Element again was due to the great and professional service they provided last year. This time they did not disappoint. Showed up on time, were very efficient and hard working while being careful with our stuff. The office staff like Cynthia were also friendly, efficient and helpful. Good value for the money also. Can't really ask for more from a professional and courtious crew. Good job guys..We'll call you again next time.

I called 5 other moving companies 3 of which never even got back to me with their bids. When I called Element on 1-15 they had a guy out to give me a quote the following Monday for a move on 1-24. Element arrived to do a walk through of our location and had their bid to me later the same day. From start to finish the customer service was top of the line. The 4 men that came out and performed our move were polite, curteous and very helpful. If we asked they did it. I will definatley use this company for all my moving needs in the future.

Selecting Element Moving was one of the best decisions I've made.  The entire experience from start to finish was absolutely fantastic and took my apprehension and worry away!  They moved me from a 2-bedroom apartment in Grapevine, TX to a harbor-front, downtown city row-house in Baltimore, MD.  Element Movers went the extra mile to ensure my possessions were handled with care and professionally wrapped. Element Moving was extremely courteous as well as professional.  I was always able to contact them at every step of the moving process.  They treated my move as a top priority and that made a huge difference. Every promise was kept and every time scheduled held true..even though we had a winter storm front move across Maryland, they still arrived without delay!  Remarkable!  I've used the BIG name transport carriers in the past and the damage and arrogance had left me somewhat frustrated when the time came to begin searching for a company that would provide quality service at a reasonable price.  My experience was so terrific that I also hired them to also handle my son's local move in Grapevine.

11/5/12: I wanted to update my previous review to give these guys all 5 star ratings because they earned it(made mistake on previous review)! Shelly G Have used Element before so we knew they would do a good job. Guys( Jorge, Jose, Ryan) showed up promptly @ 8am. Knocked out everything in 30 or so minutes. That included shrink wrapping our antique wooden bedroom suite, couches, about 30 boxes, and other misc items(desk, gas grill). They even helped me load my flatscreen tv in my vehicle for me ( I didn't include it to be moved in original quote). Move was expedited more quickly since we lived in a one story home. The commute from old residence to new one took longer because of traffic hence being a Tuesday morning. Not their fault. Once we got to new residence, they got us moved in a very short time and our furniture arrived the way it left; unharmed and scratch free. Fair; competitive prices, great customer service and professionalism all rolled up in one. Will use this company again in the future! I don't recall ever having written a review for a company before now, but I'm happy to do this one! From the beginning, dealing with Hollie for a quote was a pleasure.  Her flexibility and willingness to accommodate our needs was refreshing and there was no problem at all when we needed to reschedule (almost at the last minute)!  The quote was very reasonable (seemingly low in fact) and a had I not underestimated how much "junk" I had accumulated over two years in a two bedroom apt., I have no doubt the move would have come in right at quote.  As it turned out, it took the guys a little longer than initially projected, but it wasn't for their lack of trying.  They worked very steadily, did not drag their feet, were very careful with all my belongings, and had to be forced (by myself) to stop for a minute to drink some water!! As for the guys doing the moving (Joseph, Jorge, and Chris), three nicer, more easy-going, good-natured, truly conscientious guys you will not find! We had so much fun with them (yes, they actually made the move fun!!), and their ability to maintain such a great sense of humor while moving a lot of really heavy stuff in some serious heat was very impressive! They did not leave until we had everything exactly where we wanted it, even if they had to move it from the place we initially had them put it! I knew by the end of the move I would be writing a glowing review for the company and the guys, and told the guys I'd even mention that the heavier the item they moved - the sexier they looked (just to embarrass them)!!  Seriously, the entire experience was fantastic and we will definitely use them again for our next move.  .

I had interviewed about 5 other moving companies before Element Moving and Storage. When Jeff came out to do a walk through for an estimate, I made my decision right then. He was honest, pleasant, informative and had a very caring attitude. Communication with the office was excellent, Hollie was there for us and easily accessible by phone or email. Julie was absolutely wonderful in her communication scheduling the move. Chance, Jared and Mike were friendly and extremely hard working! I chose to have Element do the packing for us. Everything was padded, insulated to the max against damage. They never became flustered when I would find another item that needed to be added, just always replied with a SMILE " we will take care of that Ma'am".
The move was quick and stress free! Element took care of everything and before Chance and Mike left  they asked if I needed any furniture moved or was I happy with where I had initially had them place it. They made sure I was completely satisfied before they left.
I would highly recommend Element Moving and Storage! A very friendly and honest company.

Due to the expertise of Jeff Akin, (estimator), and the three competent movers that Jeff assigned to the job..Mark, Jared and Frank, the result was a very pleasant, seamless and flawless move.  We are still in awe at how the movers were able to stack our furniture and boxes in the truck and again at the storage facility as though they were creating a wall! It was amazing!  It took skill!  Mark, Jared and Frank were efficient and had pleasant attitudes.  And so was the secretary that we dealt with from time to time named Sheila.  We appreciated the care that the movers took when handling our items.     You can rest assured that if we ever need movers again, we will call Element Moving and Storage.  It is apparent to us now how you obtained your score of an "A" with the Better Business Bureau.  Keep up the good work and may God continue to bless your business.    .

After a VERY BAD experience with another moving company and a sleepiness night worrying how I was going to get out of my apartment and get across the country in time to start work, I contacted this company a day before a holiday, and they were able to get a crew to my apartment and get everything loaded in two hours.  My furniture was completely wrapped for protection from any damages. They inventoried all my stuff as they loaded it on the truck. They turned a very stressful event around for me, which allowed me to relax.  The employees were very friendly, and helpful.  I would highly recommend this company any day.

The moving team came right on time, I really like the way they managed to arrange our stuffs inside the truck in order to be sure that nothing won't break along the way, the entire process was very professional, I am very happy with their work, actually I did not expect so much care they gave in packing my forniture, and they were careful in handling my boxes and forniture, they didn't damage any of my forniture or walls in the house, that's amaizing!  I moved everithing from Dallas Texas to New Jersey, the delivery was fast, and the delivery persons who came to New Jersey, also was very punctual and nothing was damage or lost in the transportation.  I will always remember this moving experience with Happiness!!  I could not ask for more       Thanks to Element :).

I have moved probably ten times in my life, both across the country and locally.  We hired Element moving and storage for a city to city move within the Dallas area.  They were outstanding in every single way.  The office customer service was prompt and professional.  The movers arrived early, and for three guys busted butt to get everything loaded and unloaded.  Extremely courteous, professional and hardworking.  I had a not to exceed estimate and they worked so fast, I paid 300 dollars less than what they estimated the move would cost.  Not one piece of damage or even a nick in the furniture or the walls at either place.  I HIGHLY recommend Element Moving and Storage!

I rate my entire experience with Element Moving a high 5!!  Hollie was very informative and patient in arriving at the best estimate possible.  NO SURPRISES!!  NO EXTRA FEES after the original quote.  Mark's team arrived on time and immediately went to work.  Mike and Steven wrapped every piece of furniture with heavy blankets.  Mark knew exactly how to load the truck to maximize space and secure the items section by section.  I've used movers before and never had such care shown for my belongings.  It was wrapped and packed so well that after unloading none of the furniture was scratched, nicked or had worn spots.!  Really!  The men were extremely polite and wouldn't let me do anything.  During the unloading, they moved the furniture around until I was happy with the arrangement.  They made sure the boxes went to the right room.  They "didn't want to leave me in a mess."  I made the decision to go with Element Moving because of the favorable reviews and so now I'm one of those favorable reviews.  Don't hesitate to hire Element Moving, especially Mark's team.

We found Element Moving on this website about 2 weeks before we needed to move my granparents from East TX to Fort Worth, TX on Nov 12th, 2012.  It is over a 230 mile drive.  Hollie was great and has such a calm manner.  I also was very impressed with the quote that was emailed to us.  It actually broke down/explained what the different costs were.  Man hours, gas, drive time and any extra packing material past what they provided for free. The email was very detailed and helped us out with getting ready.  My family has had several moves and this was the first time I have seen this done.  I would like to say that the cost estimated was almost exactly what we paid.  I don't think it was even a $50 difference.  The total ended up being around $1,980.  We had been quoted about $3000 from another moving company, they charged based on the weight of the stuff being moved. 
My mom was handling the pick up in East TX.  The movers were scheduled to arrive somewhere from 11am - 1pm.  They got there at 1 pm I think.  It was a long drive for them, prob 6 hours.   I was nervous that the pick up part would be stressful for my mom since she was dealing with it on her own.  When I spoke with her at the end she said that they did great and to give them an excellent grade when asked.  I don't think she even had to pop a Xanax.  
They dropped off the furniture the next day at noon, as scheduled.  Our movers were Kenny, Jared & Steven. They were all very professional and nice.  I could tell that the boss/main guy of the crew ran a tight ship, which is great to see when it comes to moving all of our grandparent's lifelong possesions.   All of the the furniture were wrapped in blue blankets.  The curio cabinet and grandfather clock were wrapped and boxed up.  Nothing was broken or damaged.   The guys even remembered how my grandparents living room and bedroom was set up, since we were trying to re-create it like they had it.  
It was a unanimous decision by all of my family that this was our best moving experience in a while.  Next time one of us moves we won't have to do any researching beacuse we plan to use Element Moving again.

We were extremely satisfied with our movers; Jose, Chris, and Jorge.  They arrived on time and were very professional throughout the entire move.  We had items which were being moved to our new place, donated to a local charity, and being placed into storage.  The guys quickly coordinated which items were going where and the order in which they would be placed in the truck and delivered to the desired location, and moved them in an efficient manner so that no additional unnecessary charges would be incurred.   As the movers charged by the hour, Jose identified when the clock started and stopped. They took care to protect the walls and floors at both our old and new homes, and identified property we owned with preexisting damage before they moved the items. Lastly, all of our property made it to our new place and storage unit in the same condition as it was in before the move.  We would recommend Jose, Chris, and Jorge to anyone, and will definitely be using Element Moving's services again. .

My experience  Element moving company has been very unsatisfactory and stressful. Before they received my business to make the move from Texas to Maryland, they were all good ,called me numerous times, followed up with me etc. Once I had signed up with them, everything went downhill. They gave us the name of driver and phone number , who never carried our trailer, so we couldn't contact anyone. They provided no cell phone or any other number for emergency contact. Our shipment was delayed by 4 days. Even then they didn't have the professional movers to deliver. The driver had 4 guys from Craigslist come out, which was outrageous given the number of incidents that happen with Craigslist person. They never returned our calls. Their customer service is unreliable and so is their delivery service. I strongly suggest to go with more professional service even if they will charge you more. The money you saved is not worth the stress.      .

Element moving proved to be a great experience all around. I move about once a year so I've used a lot of different companies. This is the first time nothing got broken or scratched. The movers (Richard and David)were friendly, gentle with my stuff and moved at a fast pace. They were professional and experienced. I spoke with Donna in the office and she was also friendly and very helpful. I called on short notice and she made sure that I got moved on time. I would highly recommend this company for your move. I will be using them for my next move!

Element is the worst moving company ever for moving more than just around the Dallas area.

They showed up over 1.5 hours late without calling to inform us, threw soda cans on the ground allowing soda to seep out onto freshly cleaned floors, ruined items by using so much tape that it is impossible to get the tape and residue off later. On the phone they give a moving time frame that is drastically unrealistic and don't let you know they are off schedule until you call them. They are very poor at returning calls. You will have to hunt them down by calling six times in one hour.

The customer service is worthless.

They also CHARGE 25% MORE THAN THE QUOTE the day of the move, once your stuff is already on the truck.

Absolutely horrible service. Did not reassemble what they disassembled. Left some of our boxes on the truck, drove off and we had to hunt down the driver to get him to bring the extra boxes back.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

There is a reason they are not a Better Business Bureau backed company.

The crew was scheduled to arrive between 8 & 9 am. They arrived at 8:20am.
Both members of the crew were professional and very safe. All of my scheduled items were moved without incident.They took the utmost care of my moving items.
The crew completed the move in 2 hours & 45 minutes, which was earlier than scheduled. I am very pleased with the results of using Element Moving & I am very happy that I chose this company for my moving experience.
