Not a pleasant experience at all.
While making the booking, the staff was very nice, very cooperative and reassuring.
However, the delivery was very very delayed. We were informed one day to wait for the truck and we did , but no one came and no one called to update us either. We had to call customer service again and again. The truck finally came another week after that and that was 13 days after the first available date and it wasn't even a long distance move!
The delivery truck came at 9 pm! We were just glad to get our stuff only to realise that some things were missing. The delivery included the re-assembly of basic furniture which never happened. The delivery guy said he just delivers someone else will come the next day in a smaller truck to put our furniture together. Called dependable movers next morning only to find out there is no such thing, the guy conned us! The customer service guy was extremely rude, had a weird attitude. He would not even listen to the problems he would just say sent u a claim form!
We packed our dishes, glasses and serve ware in proper packing materials, had huge fragile stickers on each side of the boxes despite that most of our glassware is broken, dishes reached in a gazillion pieces!
Some furniture is chipped and scratched too but that's something one is prepared to bear with the move but you don't expect missing boxes, dis assembled furniture missing parts and things broken!
Horrible horrible customer service!

My daughter hired this company to move her across the US. She has been waiting for her things for 17 days and the company told her she could be waiting another 12 days. She has no bed to sleep on, no kitchen or bathroom supplies, nothing. They are non-committal, have no defined schedule, say they are at the mercy of their drivers (obviously they have no forecast or planning for their trucking pool) and I have never dealt with such rude people. Absolutely no customer service skills and when you are obviously upset about the situation they make every attempt to explain to you why it is your fault. We have hired a lawyer. This company won't be in business very long-check out their yelp reviews.

Dependable movers is an affordable moving company that is very down to earth and will tell you exactly how it is. They are very straightforward and they do not leave out any details. They showed us their credentials and all their numbers matched up as far as your DOT certifications. They are in good standing with every site that we saw and we made sure to allocate a little extra space in case we did have a few last minute things. The customer service department would call us every week to check in to make sure that our list were still accurate this would ensure nothing got overlooked and weWould not be charged more than we were told. The relocation went extremely smooth much smoother than I ever anticipated five stars.

Living in New Jersey our whole life has finally taking it’s toll on us. We worked our whole lives and decided it was time to retire and head to warmer weather and a slower pace of living. The only thing was we needed to get all our furniture about 1200 miles down south and renting a truck was not even close to a possibility. We went online and started speaking two long-distance movers. Dependable movers was the first company to call us we spent over an hour on the phone going room by room telling him each piece and about how many boxes we thought we would need. They were willing to give us the best overall rate by far as well as a few discounts on top of it all. Without the help from your company would be stuck up here in the north in the cold but instead it’s palm trees and sand and a big thank you.

Dependable movers really made our year. We were in a little bit of a panic because we needed a moving company to take us across the country in less than three weeks.. We called around and spoke to various companies and most of them could not meet our deadline. Dependable movers was willing to do things other companies weren’t they were extremely flexible in terms of scheduling. Outside of that they are very detailed to the point where every piece matters because it really does when you’re being charge for the amount of space that you use. We follow their process and we didn’t hit any speed bumps along the way. The furniture was picked up and delivered on time without a single scratch or an extra dollar owed. We wanted to take a minute to thank you for your service and wish you the best during this time of year.

We worked with Dependable Movers on our moving estimation fee and we signed a 3400 dollars moving contract with them. They agreed to come to move our furniture on December 21st and potentially finish the job on the Sunday 22nd early on the morning since I had to take my flight on the 22nd at 1 pm. Only ONE person from Dependable Movers came, on the Sunday, HALF AN HOUR BEFORE OUR DEPARTURE for the airport, telling us that we had to pay 9000 DOLLARS instead of 3400 as agreed and signed. Until today, they have been keeping our deposit and they DON'T WANT TO REIMBURSE US for their failure and terrible situation they put us in.
They just wanted to take advantage for our situation to make MORE MONEY.

The Dependable Movers FAILED to provide an accurate estimate of moving charges (tripling the cost upon their arrival to premises, half an hour before our departure to the airport), respect the contract, and to refund the deposit.

Dependable Movers did everything they said they would. Everybody in the office that we worked with we found to be excellent at what they do. They know every in and out when it comes to somebody’s move and they also understand each customer has different request and variables. They were quick to return phone calls and return emails. There was several different departments that looked over the papers to catch any mistake. They aren’t money hungry rogue movers. We are happy with all the customer service we paid for. We felt like they went above all expectations and would highly recommend them.

Dependable Movers is many steps ahead of the rest of this industry. They are very progressive and handle a lot of relocations and everyone is done at such a high level. They understand how every person‘s needs can be different and no two moves are alike. They are very focused on the small things in all the details because those items that could be missed add up to extra money being paid out on move day. They were Adamant and making sure we gave her self more than enough space so the price would only fall a post to rise. We were treated with respect at all times and we were never rushed into making any financial payment until we were sure and ready. They did not call us obsessively or call after hours. We have nothing but kind words to say I wanted to read them the five stars that they deserve.

We had two different companies come to our home to receive on-site estimates. The two companies that came out we’re both major van lines you I’m sure everybody is familiar with. However I’m not sure if you’re familiar how expensive these companies are they are close to double the price of other movers at times for the same exact service. We found dependable movers online and light a lot of what we had read. We gave them a call and instantly were drawn to them. They were calm cool and collected and all about helping us as potential customers. They walked us through it all. They explain the pricing and gave us advice on the best ways to save money. They didn’t have a bad word to say about their competition and we’re willing to look over other quotes to make sure they were an apples to apples comparison. The move went so well. Watching them work we felt comfortable and while in transit we were always told were their truck was. I can’t speak for all the other companies but I’m pretty sure that you’re not going to find service like this at a price like this.
