They worked extremely efficiently to move my stuff in a fast yet careful manner. The workers were pleasant and easy to work with, they demonstrated a tangible sense of respect for my belongings, and the rates for their services are highly competitive. Their storage units are also quite clean and well kept, so I had little to no concern about the safety of my belongings within their units. All in all, you won't find a better moving company for the price in NYC - especially with this level of customer service.

One of the biggest challenges was that a large piece of furniture wouldn’t fit in the elevator, and instead of making it a problem, Biggie and his team immediately came up with solutions and handled it seamlessly. Their problem-solving skills, experience, and positive attitude were truly impressive.

I’ve used several moving companies over the years, and Perfect Moving was by far the best moving experience I’ve ever had. The level of service, professionalism, communication, and care was unmatched. Every member of the crew went above and beyond, treating my belongings as if they were their own.

Moving is usually one of the most stressful experiences, but Biggie and his team made it feel easy. I really, truly had such a great experience with them and would recommend Cross Country Movers to anyone without hesitation.

Gerald, Karim, and Clayton worked their butts off to get us moved and we really appreciate their attention to detail and service with a smile. They had a great attitude, took extra care of our delicate items, and they were so fast, I was blown away. They had our 10x20 storage loaded within an hour. Absolutely amazing service. When we move again (hopefully bot any time soon) we will be hiring Cross Country Movers

based solely on their customer service. The closing of my property took much longer than expected so I reached out multiple times to ask if I could move the date back with Anytime. Ruby was always prompt in her replies and transparent on the days that were available. I ultimately had to go with other movers as they were booked on the date I ultimately was able to move. Ruby was more than patient and even shared recommendations for other movers I could reach out to and check for availability.

I had a great experience with this moving company from start to finish. The team was punctual, professional, and handled all of my belongings with real care. They worked efficiently without rushing and made what could’ve been a stressful day feel smooth and manageable.

Communication was clear, pricing was fair with no surprise charges, and Gerard and Fred were friendly and respectful the entire time. Everything arrived safely and exactly as expected.

I’d absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, stress-free movers and would use them again in the future.

All of the movers were professional, responsible, and extremely careful, making what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and well managed. A special shout-out to Shane, Xavier and Zee, who were outstanding and attentive in making sure nothing was damaged while moving furniture through the renovated home.

All movers from my sold house to my new home were meticulous and very conscious about protecting walls, floors, and furnishings, treating everything with care and respect. There is a moving company out there that is called 'Cross Country Movers' however it also have other names if you check their license on the FMCSA site.I am not talking about Cross Country Movers of California. I am talking about Cross Country Movers located in Philadelphia, PA. USDOT 2780116. This company is so vicious to the point that they have changed their names so many times. These are the names they used in the past:
CROSS COUNTRY MOVERS, PRODIGY MOVING & STORAGE, APEX MOVING & STORAGE
So basically back on April 2019 I was looking for quotes on a move from Orlando, FL to Philadelphia, PA and I got a reasonable quote from Cross Country Movers with very nice a sweet message promising the best experience ever. After many quotes I decided to go with them, because they offered good price, reasonable transition time, and moving insurance. So I went ahead and booked the move to be done on April-24-2019. After the booking, they requested the deposit to be paid in advance using a credit card. They picked up my stuff on April-24-2019 and they said it would take up to 5 days for the truck to get to PA. So after the pickup I drove with my family and two kids from Orlando to Philly and waited the five days before contacting them. After talking to them they said that the truck didn't even move yet and it would not move until it get's fully loaded! and they asked me to call back. After few more days they said not to call and the driver will call me once they load and ready to head up north.
On May-10-2019 I was running out of patient and I called asking them to give a date when should I expect my stuff? however they hang up the phone on me many times and they said they don't have this information and the driver will call me when they are ready. the 5 days has extended to 30 days and I lived in hell situation in an empty house with 2 kids and no furniture. On May-29-2019 someone called and said that my items are in PA and they could deliver on 29th or 30th. So they came on May-29-2019 in the afternoon and they asked for more money as first flight fees even though I live on the first floor house with few steps up! I had to pay $100 extra just to unload my furniture. After unloading I found the following issues:
- Missing bed headboard
- Missing one box
- Broken coffee table
- Broken dresser
- Dirty and wet mattress
- Broken stroller.

After calling the customer service they said not to worry and go ahead and file a claim. After calling the claim department they said that they will only cover 60 cents per pound if the item is eligible, and they will need up to 60 days to gather evidence and so many documents to process my claim.
So basically after all this bad experience I had to wait 40 days for my stuff to get delivered and lost so many items in the way without any refund or compensation. In short this company lied about so many things and didn't care. Also after researching their record it turn out that there is ongoing law suit from the state attorney of Florida for many bad practices and the owner (Yehoshua Vaknin) is a con artist. We hired the moving company Cross Country Movers of 5213 Grays Avenue, Unit 106, Philadelphia, PA to relocate my family from New Jersey to Pineville, North Carolina. Please note that I had first requested a quotation from a moving company who then sent a representative from their company to do a ground estimate. After this agent did a walk through in our home (a huge 2-bedroom apartment of approximately 2,200 sq ft), she sent us an itemized list of our items with the total binding estimate. However, in an effort to get the best price, I contacted another moving company, this being Cross Country Movers.

The initial phone call was with Mr. Rich Curry, the company representative who requested that I send him a list of our items. Following receipt of the list, Mr. Curry then sent me (by email) the binding estimate which he emphasized will not change. Despite his assurance, I asked him via phone to send a representative from his company to come to our house and confirm their estimate, he told me that this was not necessary and reiterated that the list was sufficient and that it was a binding estimate based on the list and furthermore they did not have the manpower to send me a representative. Since their quote was significantly lower than the other company, I contacted them to confirm and we agreed on a pick up date of 29 May 2019. We were asked to pay a deposit of 30% of the total estimate. Then came moving date but no truck showed up during the hours promised. After a day of phone chasing, we were informed that “their truck broke” and would not be coming. The dispatcher assured me that the driver will come early morning. The next day the truck arrived (late) with only TWO people to move an entire household which included a piano.

And then the next horror began. The driver made a cursory walk around the living room and informed me that he will not load our items for the estimate that was quoted. I argued with him that it was a binding estimate agreement with the company but the driver did not agree and instead phoned the manager. After arguing with both the driver and the company's representative I eventually had to agree to the new more substantial quote because I had no choice. I issued the check for the new amount and the items were subsequently loaded on the truck. As I watched in disbelief when the driver was packing our piano and him and his helper tilted the piano sideways to wrap it with the tarp and boxes. While I credit these two people for trying to ensure that our items would not be damaged, they were not professional movers.

Our items were finally delivered on 23 June (a Sunday) but was missing 14 items (boxes and other items). We were informed that the missing items could not fit when they re-loaded the truck but the driver assured us that they were scheduled to be delivered with the next truck. I told the driver that I was only going to pay $1,000 of the $1,200 balance to be paid, and settle the remaining $200 when the remaining three items are delivered. The driver phoned the manager who adamantly insisted that we pay the full amount or the driver will not unload our items. Please note that we do not have a car so my son had to walk 3 miles to the nearest bank to withdraw $200 because the driver insisted payment in cash in full.

As we unpacked the items which were delivered, to our additional horror, many of our items were damaged including a dining table and several pieces of memorable items, as well.

When finally the second delivery came after almost another three weeks, it was again missing three items (boxes and an antique globe and a bicycle). After several emails and phone calls, we were told that the company does not know where the remaining items are and that we should just proceed and file a claim for lost items which they will pay for. They also noted that should these items be found, they will be delivered to us even after payment to our claim has been made.

WARNING!! These guys will break thousands of dollars worth of things and pay you pennies literally. After vetting numerous moving companies, Jeff will smooth talk you into thinking their service is top notch and reassure you they do things differently and much better than the other moving companies in order to win your business. They definitely do things differently. I've NEVER had a moving company break anything before until these schmucks. They actually packed and wrapped my belongings better than any moving company. But what a waste of time and materials. 375pounds of damaged goods!!! They apologized and assured me they would do their best to reimburse for the damaged goods. They offered pennies on the dollar. If you have expensive goods like I did, avoid these frauds. If you have cheap ikea like goods maybe these guys will work for you. Either way USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

they have been in trouble with the NJ attorney generals office. they are a broker. the owners are known moving scammers. they have operated under many names, scam , steal and ignore calls. if you search under a reputable moving company name they call you and you don't realize you are talking with these thieves. They did not deliver service and stole thousands of dollar with no return money.
