Lies and Fraud. We were sold a "flat rate" move, but when we reduced the number of items we needed to ship, we were charged more. They refuse to explain why, and are incredibly rude when asked. I could get past all that if we could only get our belongings. Our "14 day" max delivery is about to tick to a month, with our belongings in a warehouse in the middle of the country and no driver assigned, no eta and not explanation why. It appears that all they do is book you with a sub-contractor of their choosing, then hang you out to dry. No proactive communication, no explanation, not even the faintest attempt to help us receive our belongings. This is far from the service we were promised when we booked, and completely unacceptable.

Move size: Studio Service cost: $1800

The worst. They overcharge me. Kept charging me more money were not deliver my furniture. There was damages to some of my items. I retain an attorney who is in contact with them. They said it would take approximately four months to figure it out to reimburse me if any. They’ve caused me untold aggravation. Post to be seven days took over a month to get my furniture and cost me untold amount of money at a hotel. Do not use them! They scam you! They sweettalk you! They are the worst I’ve ever used in my whole life. And the story is not over yet.

This waS the worse experience ever. They underestimate the cost and once they come to do the job my job went from 1700 to 2700. They told me delivery would be 5 to 7 days from pick up date and it was actually 14 days. They take your stuff from the original truck and place it in a storage facility and then reload it into a big truck when they have a driver and find the lowest price transport company. They told me they would deliver to a second address which was close to the first address for no cost since it was local. However, when they reloaded the truck, they did not sort properly, so they said I had to pay the driver $160. No creditordebit cards, or checks, cash only. So I had to make a trip to the bank to get the $160. Do not be fooled by the sales person who promises you what ever because he is the biggest deceiver. Do not bother calling anyone for help because they basically call you a lier when you tell them what the sales person told you and I am certain they get so many complaints they are numb. Do yourself the biggest favor ever and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

A terrible company. They quoted me $3.5K for the 1-br apartment content to move across the country, which was reasonable. But when the guy showed up to pick stuff up, he somehow decided I had more than was described, adding another $700 to the price. The loading on the truck went fine. It took me four days to drive across the country from Miami, FL to California, but it took them 32 (!) days to deliver my stuff. The communication about the process was very poor. And they did not tell me that they use an 18-wheeler to deliver. There was no room for it to park at my new place. So, they had to transfer my stuff to a local delivery company, which charged another $1.3K on top of the previous charges ($5.5K total). Had I known this, I would have used a different company. My advice - stay away from Cross Country Movers.
