We had a great experience using City Moving from CA to HI! The moving truck showed up at our mountain home in CA and it was a welcome sight! Within a few short hours, all of our boxes were packed and loaded and off they went. Our shipment arrived about a month later but we were not in a rush. The box truck pulled up to our driveway but could not make it up the steep driveway so the two young men parked the truck at the base of the drive and hand carted all of our shipment up the hill into our house. Thank you Ryan, for starting the process. Thank you, Ed, our personal shipping consultant who kept in touch with us and kept us abreast of the date of arrival of our shipment. We are so appreciative of the fine service that we received from your company: City Moving, we highly recommend you!

We just moved from California to Hawaii and had City Moving ship our cars and personal belongings.

From start to finish the service was excellent! The prices quoted were competitive and within our budget. Ryan, Danny and Mike were attentive to all our needs, keeping us informed all along the way. The instructions given were easy to follow and the whole process proceeded smoothly. Our shipment arrived intact and on time to our door. Our Autos arrived within the timeframe quoted. Great customer service. Polite and courteous throughout the process. I moved from Honolulu to Scottsdale. Bidding was straight forward and changes proactively addressed for a very efficient loading in Honolulu. Unloading in Scottsdale was same. Very well handled. No damage to speak of from start to finish. Communication was frequent and consistent every step of the way. Teddy, Ryan, Kona, and all the team members were engaged, made me feel importance as a customer, and made the relocation move one without concern.

I had a very easy move using City Moving. We moved from Eastern Oregon to the big island Hawaii. I checked into two other moving companies before getting a quote from City Moving. I'm glad I called them. The experience I had with the first person I called with them was very friendly, thorough in explaining how the whole move would work. We seemed annoyed at first when we were asked to give exact measurements on certain large items instead of just guessing but he explained that it would give us a more accurate quote. That way we wouldn't have any surprises later as to an updated extra expense with the actual items. They checked back with us a few weeks before the actual pick up date & welcomed us to call at any time if we had questions, which we did & got friendly help with our questions.

We originally were going to have them box many items up for us but decided on doing most of it ourselves using sturdy 27 gal totes with zip ties to secure them.

My husband was amazed how fast, friendly and accurate they were to itemize our totes as they packed them into the trucks. We had extra big & awkward sized items that they had to pack, bundle & secure since hubby was moving his woodworking stuff, machinery & many toolboxes!

I had a full set of china, service for 12 that I had packed away 30 yrs earlier in a double box with only Styrofoam peanuts & newspaper. I had moved from Canada 30yrs earlier & didn't know at that time that I wouldn't be unpacking my china for 30yrs. I didn't dare open it before the move, fearing the worst that many were broken from my flimsy packing back then. So I just put that whole box of china inside a newer box & took the risk.

When we got our stuff in Hawaiʻi, I noticed one of the guys had loaded that box on the bottom of the handcart with 2 totes on top of it. I only knew what was inside that box because I had marked it with an X for my own reference & wrote "kitchen" on it. The next day after the movers had brought our stuff to our new home, I decided to open my china box. I couldn't believe that every single piece of that large set with extra serving pieces was in perfect condition, even with my flimsy packing of years ago!

These guys had no idea what was in that cardboard box other than "kitchen" written on it. So I know that each time the movers handled that box, they had to have been very careful, not even knowing it was fragile. I was impressed. There were 3 men who unloaded or stuff into our new place in Hawaiʻi. They had truck troubles that day so the company used a rental truck that was smaller so they had to make 2 trips from Kona to our place. This made for a long day for the 3 guys. They had an exhausting time with my hubby's heavy stuff & packing +30 totes of mine upstairs to my sewing room. No one complained & they were very friendly. We were impressed!

I was already here in Hawaiʻi when they picked up our stuff in Oregon but my hubby told me that they used 6 men there & we only had 3 men unloading all that same stuff here, so these guys got a workout. I never heard any grumbling but saw they were tired when they left. The follow up from the company a few days after the move, was nice to hear from them. I was able to tell them what I liked about the great employees they hire.

Our stuff was picked up 9/24/22 & delivered to our destination 11/14/22. It was about 51 days. We were told they would try to get it to us the earliest as 30-45 days but possibly up to 60 with extenuating circumstances. They wanted to bring it on 11/10/22 but I had a cat recovering from a major surgery from 2 days before that date & didn't want her to get spooked while feeling bad so that's why they came on the 14th. I don't know what else to say, other than I'm very satisfied with our move with City Moving. They took a lot of the stress out of this move and I recommend them!

I have moved with City Moving about 4 different times. Every time I have had a great experience and the movers, drivers have always been very polite and helpful.

The sales person and coordinator, Mike and Miguel have been on on top of my moves. Always alerting you what needs to be done, prior and post move.

They always called after the deliveries to make sure the move was on time etc.

Yes, will use them again.

I'm very happy with the service I received from City Moving. When I was first researching companies and reached out, they didn't pressure me to commit to going with them. Once I decided, they were responsive to any questions I had and on moving day, they arrived on time, worked their butts off to get everything packed and loaded. At the destination, my household goods were unloaded efficiently. I also went with them to ship my car and that also went smoothly and they called me right away when my car arrived a few days early.
