We had an UNBELIEVABLY GREAT experience with Century Moving Services. They absolutely went above and beyond. From the minute we called the staff was friendly and found us an opening that was perfect for us. We had a really hard move and they understood that. We had temporary housing and they understood our concern, packed our items in a POD and then made the appt to unpack us when we were ready. The movers were so great we requested them on the unpack and they were there on time and in a great mood. They didn't scratch or break anything. I will absolutely recommend them and am so grateful for their services

About 5 years ago I used Century Moving Services to move within NYC. I really liked their service all around starting from their office staff (my sales rep was David, he was great and always available), the driver/head manager and helpers were also great, so I decided to give them a shot to move me to Maryland. Fortunately, the same sales rep helped me, and the company’s staff/workers were again great. They were all professional and experienced and handled the furniture with care. However, the move cost was more than what we budgeted for, but it was because we needed help with pictures, mirrors, kitchenware, and personal items (full packing service) and everything was packed carefully. Upon delivery, the crew placed everything in the proper rooms or where we instructed them to.

Let me start by saying .... I HATE MOVING. Now that we got that out the way, let me tell you about my Century moving services experience. It started with a request for a quote from multiple moving companies of which I received wildly different numbers from different companies. When I reached out to Century, the sales rep David wouldn't provide me a quote without coming to see my home, how many rooms it had, how much furniture, and the layout.

This let me know the quote I would receive from century would be the real deal.

The communication leading up to the move date was great and Joe from dispatch told me exactly what to expect.

Now things got a little tricky on the move date because an unexpected snowstorm was forecasted. The team of century movers arrived early and quickly got to work. They were careful with our furniture and wrapped some of the pieces twice.

Once we arrived at the new house it in fact started snowing heavily. I was concerned they would mark up my brand new hardwood floors on my new construction home. I voiced my concern to the foreman Miguel and they laid paper sheets down on my floors which fully protected them. When the paper sheets would get wet and start to tear, they would lay down new paper.

Once the job was complete, they picked up all the paper, all the wrapping and left no garbage behind.

I am not the type of person to leave reviews however, I had to do the right thing for century, they took care of me from start to finish.

Century moving was the only company I could find 2 days prior to my move. Booking manger tim spoke very clear English and he knew exactly what I was saying. I had a Jersey to Jersey move about 10 miles. They came to pick up my stuff around 8am and packed all my stuff in boxes and finished the delivery same day around 11pm. They had many little guys moving my things and they were able lift my huge furniture. It was very surprising to see how they managed to carry my stuff without breaking them. I guess it’s a combination of lucky and experience. There was a master manager with the crew and he made sure everything was on his inventory list and things was warped w blanket and bubble. Manager name on my job was Jimmy. One guy rubbed the Matress on the stairway down and make a little scuffle on the wall but that’s happen. Manager called the office and they did the right thing and gave me a discount on the packing material after this incident. After all said and done this job cost me more money than my initial estimate but I had a lot of extra work and stuff for them to carry. I don’t want to hurt my back carrying heavy stuff these guys do it every day. I rather spend some money and not break my back. I will definitely use them again. Tim promised me a discounted rate for my next move. Thank you century people for the help and may god bless you guys!!!

First I must thank John,  my sales person at cenrtury moving for such a seemless relocation from New Jersey to Georgia He was very hands on from start to Finnish,  my family and i moved from a 3 bedroom apartment within time records my Shippment was arrived 2days later. not to metion  Nestor our foreman  with  4 professionals crew these guys was a amazing, punctual and so organized, they made our move so easy and stress free. will recommend Century Moving Company to anyone that's moving.

I would like to start off by saying as we ALL know is moving is extremely stressful and at times frustrating. This last move was something for the record ! We hired Century Moving Company to move our 4 bedroom house to a new property not to far away. We were so behind on packing and wrapping and all the bells and whistles that come with it. The most incredible team showed up and with such care , Professionalism and patience swooped in and with incredible vigilance did it ALL for us. All the furniture and bedding etc that they dismantled was reassembled perfectly as well as placed throughout the house in the proper spots as we requested . Dealing with Century has been the absolute best and painless experience in moving to our new home . Starting from Sales representative :Tim Powell, office manager Wendy, on the day of the move foreman /crew manager Nestor, driver Robert, and all the helpers has been nothing short of an absolute pleasure to deal with we are so thankful to ALL of the staff at Century moving company and would ONLY recommend them for anyones moving needs.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2800

To whom it may concern,

I hire century moving service on August 3, 2022. Agent in charge Miguel, they break down my medium freezer and broken bookshelves. They had an Anthem insurance policy that would not cover anything. The delivery driver claims the truck was a breakdown they took 5 hours delayed behind The expected time and driver failed to deliver items where I want Miguel say the box was too heavy and also charged an additional 70 dollars extra to the original bill which was already discussed. For those who received a good service all I can say is lucky you. I follow the instructions provided by Anthem insurance. In conclusion, they send a letter offering a value of 60 dollars for medium freezer damage that cost over five hundred dollars. Be aware of the scam company. Century Moving services appear very tricky with the white and yellow form receipt. Service is not good. I would not suggest anyone deal with them. Due to the fact unprofessional staff and unreasonable insurance affiliated or associated with them to trick a customer.
