This company could be great if they just had communication and customer service skills.

Based on my experience, for each phase of moving, I would give them:

5 stars for the beginning of the contract stage communication;

5 stars in their thoroughness in packing all my belongs so carefully;

but then…. after they picked everything up, they went silent for 10 days with no communication on what the plan was. This stage, I would give zero stars. You will have NO point person who will text you or email you with an update on when your items will depart their warehouse (only after I filed a complaint with BBB did I suddenly get communication of a point person). I was told 21 days is the max for the furthest distance from west to east coast. I get that. But one would think that the 21 days is “moving time”/ “travel time” not, “we will store your items for 21 days and then ship it when we feel like it- to which we will give you no updates along the way”.

If they were better at communication, they would win at all phases of the pick up process.

Departure- shockingly, when they finally decided to leave California, they departed Monday and got to the east coast by Wednesday. I would give them 5 stars for their super speed.

Delivery day- The truck driver experience dropped all my 5 star experiences down to maybe 2 overall now. He ruined it all for me. I received a phone call from the driver 24 hours out that they would arrive between 9-10am the following day. At 10:15 I called the driver and woke him up. He has zero customer service skills and was not friendly at all. At 1130am he arrived with his attitude stating he couldn’t get the truck closer - to which he had 2 closer options. I walked them with him and he was very frustrated that it was closer. I learned that the driver gets to keep the $75 “long carry” fee money so they naturally try real hard to not park close. The driver CLEARLY does not understand that he represents the company. He was on the defense as soon as he arrived, irritable, treats you like you are a complete waste of his time. He made the whole experience unprofessional and sealed the deal that I will never work with this company again.

I would give 4 stars for all my belongings arriving. I was pleased that most everything arrived (as I read horror stories of things missing). We were only missing a 6’ ladder and step ladder and cleaning tools. And only 2 boxes had broken items.

If they had communication throughout all phases of the delivery process and a driver who had kind human being customer service skills, this would be a rock star company. Sadly it was a lot of ups and downs with unsettling and unprofessional moments.

THEY WILL LIE TO GET YOUR BUSINESS! ALL THEY DO IS LIE! THEY SAID I CANCELLED ON THE PICK UP DATE, WHY WOULD I CANCEL ON THE PICK UP DATE? IT DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE, I HAD TO SCRAMBLE TO FIND ANOTHER COMPANY FOR THE MOVE, MADES CHANGES TO TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS, DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU. I really regret agreeing to the settlement offered by Katie, now they are not honoring the settlement I will post everything, I hope no one else fall for their traps. THEY LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING! THEY SAID THEY HAVE THEIR OWN STORAGE, THEIR CREW HAD NO IDEA!

DO NOT USE! We moved cross country through Cali Exodus in 2022. Everything was fine on the pick-up side where we paid a 70% deposit upon pickup. However, a few days before drop off we get a call DEMANDING 100% payment before we see our stuff. When we replied that would send the 30% payment after confirming out stuff arrived (totally normal procedure) they literally started SCREAMING at us over the phone, threatening to lock our stuff up and force us to go to court over it. Trust me, it's not a good feeling when the people who have your life's possessions are threatening to auction off all your goods unless you pay 100% before they even think of showing up to your house. Seriously, DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. They will try and f*** you over.

They are scam artists.

Once you speak to one in person you'll get my drift.

Either something will be stolen, I'm sorry "missing" even though it was accounted for on their manifest.

Once all your belongings are loaded up, they double their estimate. And since most people moving are in a right spot they are forced to use this joke of a company.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5400

Stay away from this company, after my move from California to Kansas they lost so many of my items including a leather sofa. How is that possible, they also lost 2 of my boxes of valuable items and the damage was bad, my marble dining room table was broken in half and was worth way more than the claim I received which was a joke. The 2 lost boxes and the damage to my brand-new dryer were damaged so badly not to mention the 2 boxes of someone else's things I received, Exodus moving never helped me find the rightful owners or the way bouts of my lost items. STAY AWAY, from this company if you have things you cherish and want to keep. They do not care about your items also they do not use their own people they hire contract movers to unload as long as they get paid they show a disregard for an individual's items. I know the things that I lost will never be returned since they paid a very small claim after months of back and forth with did not cover a fraction of the cost to replace even my leather sofa, and not even close to my marble dining room table and other items. Maybe someday I will be able to locate the true owners of the boxes I have but I do not expect any help from Exodus Moving and storage

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7500

We moved from California to Arizona.

Our cost was doubled once the truck was loaded. We didn’t use a semi truck,all our items fix in a box truck.

We had to unload the truck in Arizona with the help of one driver, we called for help. (Interesting they send 4 guys to pack the home)

We unloaded truck in dark until almost 9pm. Lift on truck was broken, we had to use a narrow metal ramp. Wasn’t safe! We have called no answer. They Won’t return calls. Items broken, damaged. Filed complaint. They won’t respond to voicemails or emails. We are in our sixties, we needed help! This also caused us physical pain.

It’s been over the 120 days since we filed the complaint. If you pay by check they will hold you items for over 20 days before they will deliver.

They want money Zelle to someone’s personal account or cash for payment. Don’t use this company.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $11880

This horrid company gave me a quote and then charged me double once it was packed and the manager showed up. They packed very poorly and left stuff behind. Once it was delivered I was missing many pieces (like the legs to my desk) and worse yet, they broke in to my wife's jewelry boxes and stole every single item that was worth anything, I'm glad that she was wearing her wedding ring, but they stole probably close to 10k worth of jewelry, they stole parts of my motorcycle like a seat and a sissy bar, an electric leaf blower, a brand new set of pots and pans still in the box and so many other things that were boxed away in other boxes.

She died last month, heartbroken over the things that she knew about being stolen from her leaving me with my anger over what they did to her and us. I hope Karma comes calling for these thieves in a big way.

They give you an extremely low quote treat you with professionalism and are patient until you sign the contract and make your first payment. After that point their impossible to contact, they send unprofessional kids to pack your items in a used truck...pack it with multiple other ppls items....over charge your estimate by putting stickers on every item...then ghost you again for weeks while you await the arrival of your items. Supposedly their Supposed to communicate when your items are repacked and on the way to your new location, never happened. They called on day and said they'd be there at 3pm....no show no call. I call they dismiss me and say they're completing another job and will be there at 6pm...no call no show. I call and once again we will be there at 8pm....no call no show...they call this time with the excuse they have a flat tire and they'll be stopping at a nearby hotel to rest up and be there at 8am. They finally show up at 830a with another rental truck and again packed with multiple items for other ppl...boxes are damaged weight not evenly distributed. Young kids with no sense of professionalism, don't k ow the contract or procedure. I asked them about payment the previous day and the gentleman who was supposed to secure our items and the location and time for drop-off finally calls gives me a zelle account that doesn't work and is in his personal name. We end having to go to the atm to withdraw cash and the "foreman" can't count properly. Jobs completed and damaged items are photographed and accounted for. They lost our step ladder. No checkup with the company to see if services rendered were acceptable, no feedback and no update on the replacement of damaged items. This company lacks professionalism, transparency, and doesn't care about their clients. They seem to rush jobs to make as much money as possible utilizing these young inexperienced kids who are in it for a quick buck. I wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy moving accross country is stressful enough compounded by the cost time and other resources used and this company makes it worse. Worse experience ever!!!

SCAMMMMM. Quoted $5200 for 799 CF. I had sent pictures and number of boxes. We had 1 less piece of furniture and 14 less boxes. When they came to load, tried to add $4000 more dollars. Wast told by Cory I would get a refund. Katie texted and tried to give half back by saying i cancelled. I DID NOT CANCEL. They left when I refused to pay $4k more. Upper management is now refusing the refund saying I cancelled and that nobody actually offered a refund. They also erased phone recordings after I specifically told them not to. ( I will win on that alone) BBB, Attorney General and California License board have been contacted. There are MANY MANY complaints for the exact same thing. Stay tuned for the website I am creating to expose companies like this.

Zelle is also being notified of the scam. NEVER ZELLE MONEY TO THEM. James Horky is the so called Operations Manager. He helps with this scam.
