I do not recommend Cali Moving and Storage. The foreman arrived, exaggerated the job by claiming I had “250 boxes” then called the office speaking in another language which I clearly heard “250” again. I then had to arrange to take the heavy items and as much as could fit in the truck.

They brought their largest truck. They left half of my bins which were rented and needed to be emptied and half my house. While they did move my freezer, couch and dresser, they attempted to bring the freezer up the stairs and ended up leaving my freezer and couch on the curb. They dragged them into my parking space in the back and left. They sat for the next 2 days until

I found Sullivan Moving and Storage. A crew of 70 year old men and older moved the couch and freezer up in 20 minutes and the rest of the house on another day. Do yourself a favor and find a more professional company who doesn’t hire kids to move furniture. This really was a nightmare!

Top notch professionals that were very genuine and caring. I put a bid out for help moving and Cali Movers were the only ones to quote prices upfront with options. Dave was very clear and helpful in planning my move with some great suggestions.

On the day of the move, they showed up on time and ready to go to work. Joanna, the lead, was an absolute professional that knew what she was doing and how to coordinate the activities to ensure a thorough sweep of what needed to go on the truck in particular order.

Love these guys and would definitely recommend them to my family and friends for their moving needs.

Awful experience. Do not use this company.

They sent two movers — one who didn’t speak English, which made communication nearly impossible. I had already moved most of my belongings and only needed help with a few large pieces. I clearly instructed them to only wrap TVs and large furniture, but they ignored me and wasted time wrapping fabric chairs and other items that did not need to be wrapped, stretching out the process unnecessarily.

When I told them not to move certain things, they pulled items out of my hands and said, “We move whatever we want — you’re not our boss.” One of them even threatened to cancel the job halfway through. I called their manager to try to get things under control, but they continued arguing and wasting time.

The whole experience created unnecessary stress and completely disturbed the peace in my home. My husband and I ended up fighting because of how tense and disrespectful the situation became. I didn’t want them to continue, but half my things were already loaded on their truck and the rest was sitting in the hallway. I had to move that day and had no time to find another company.

To make it worse, they originally quoted us $400, but after intentionally dragging out the move and padding the time with pointless wrapping and delays, they charged us $1,100. They clearly do whatever they can to slow down the process and inflate the cost, while making the experience absolutely horrible.

After I wrote this review, they called me and said they would not unload the truck with my belongings unless I removed it. I was forced to delete the review, wait for the job to be completed, and then repost it. That’s coercion — plain and simple.

Unprofessional. Disrespectful. Manipulative. Dishonest. Stay away.

I had a very positive experience with this moving company. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and showed great care while packing and transporting my belongings. Fragile items were wrapped securely, and furniture was handled responsibly. The movers stayed organized and professional throughout the process. Communication was clear, and there were no surprises. Everything arrived safely at my new location, making the entire move smooth, reliable, and stress-free.
