Bust a Move

We have moved a few times in Montreal and this time was, by far, the best. Our team of 3 well dressed, polite, friendly guys showed up exactly on time and were unfailingly friendly and polite the entire time - even when tired and stressed. We had a 5-year old 'helping' us, and our team were smiling at him all day and letting him 'help'. We had an entire 3-floor house to move and from start to finish was about 6 hours.   There were some pieces of furniture that they were not able to get down our tricky stairwell, but they tried all sorts of ways and even helped to see if we could figure out another way to put things. Moving day is NEVER enjoyable, but our guys made the day a lot more tolerable. Thank you Bust a Move. You rock!
Also, you may possibly have the best company name ever.

  My experience with 'Bust a Move' was made truly memorable. They turned a bad morning into a great stress-free afternoon. They are honest, on time, on budget, true to their word. Super chill and calm, that's what was most impressive. Moving is such a stressful event, and finding movers you can rely on is even more stressful. I found Bust a Move Moving on google and decided to try them. I got a very thorough estimate that explained all the costs within 24 hours, and their rates are very reasonable compared to other companies I looked into. So I confirmed by email and received a phone call from Jon within an hour to discuss some details, and that was it! On moving day, the 3 guys showed up exactly on time at 8 am, presented and explained the contract, and then they got right to work. They were fast, but did take the time to put down runners on the floor, wrapped my big furniture in blankets, took my bed apart, etc. I had 2 delivery stops to make, some stuff was going to storage, and the rest into my new place. And they did all that exactly within the estimated time! I will be moving again next year, and will not hesitate to use them again, and recommend them to anyone I know who is looking for movers (which I just did 5 minutes ago). Thanks for taking the stress out of moving for me :).

I moved from Montreal,Quebec to Cornwall,Ontario September 9,2014 at 07:30am.I was nervous about the move and having to move to another provence to boot.I was greeted by a three man crew at the designated time.Jon the owner gave me an overview on what to expect and a pretty accurate quote.He was available to answer all my questions and the website gives you some good tips on how to pack.From the moment I met the movers-Perry,Chris and Arthur, I knew I was in good hands.The professionalism,competence and sunny dispositions of Perry,Chris and Arthur made my move stress free and smooth sailing.None of my items were damaged and the estimated time of the move was very accurate.I would definately recommend this company to anyone and my parents will be using them as well when they move next year.Thank you once again Jon and your fabulous team for helping me get through this move.Cheers:).

From prompt replies to questions, an accurate bid, and all aspects of service delivered as promised, I have to say that Bust a Move has been the most professional, courteous, and responsive moving company I have ever used.

Packing was scheduled in advance with a prior delivery of boxes and materials. Unused boxes and materials were credited to my final bill.

The insurance options were clearly explained and the contract was written in clear English.

All the movers were unfailingly polite and hard workers.

I recommend Bust a Move without reservation!

I've moved more than a dozen times in my lifetime, but none was better managed than my experience with Bust-a-Move. Unlike previous moves with the big name movers, John's estimate was accurate even though the move proved to be more challenging than originally planned. The crew was professional, courteous and careful with my belongings. A few minor damages were dealt with promptly with no questions asked and a refreshing lack of paperwork. When a glass table top was chipped while loading, I discovered that a replacement had already been ordered before the truck had even reached my new home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bust-a-Move, they exceded my expectations!

We recently hired Bust a Move to move our offices within the Greater Montreal area. They took the time to come to our old offices a few weeks prior to the move to give us some great moving tips which really sped up the moving and thereby kept the costs low. On moving day, they showed up on time, their guys were ready and willing to work and they genuinely took care of the whole move so we can sit back and relax. All the guys were careful, polite and very considerate. Would whole-heartedly recommend them!

We had never heard of Bust a Move until my wife found them on the internet. They were highly rated and seemed to have lots of great feedback so we decided to try them out..boy did that ever pay off.
They provided us with a complete estimate in less than 24 hours. We confirmed a few details with Jon (owner) and everything was set.
The truck showed up on time (actually about 10 minutes early) and the four guys (Brian, Arthur, Etienne & Jordan) got to work right away. They were super friendly and got the day off to a great start. Right from the get-go, the guys were flying around hauling the stuff out of both duplexes at top speed..all the while being very careful not to damage anything. I was so impressed with how quickly the house was being emptied. In particular, they had to get a huge couch out of the top duplex but it didn't fit down the stairs so they had to remove the top balcony door and bring it down by outside. I couldn't believe how easy they made it look. I would say they had that couch out the door and in the truck in 5 minutes tops (and that includes removal of the door).
The guys brought the stuff into the new house just as fast and managed some very big pieces of furniture up some tricky stairs with ease.
I cannot overstate what a fantastic experience we had with Bust a Move. We have already recommended them to 2 other friends who will be moving in the near future.
You really can't go wrong with Bust a Move - you are the BEST!!

I am very pleased with the services of Bust a Move. I moved in May 2018. I hired labor only because I was moving to another province and they do not provide this service (truck) in May. I contacted Bust a Move and they were very helpful and kind from the first call and emails I sent, the information about what they offered and fees were clear enough for me and there were no surprises or extra fees. I hired a team of two people (for two hours plus one hour transportation and tips), to help me with loading a truck. The two helpers, Greg and John Paul, arrived in the time slot that we had agreed upon. They were quick, kind, polite and careful with the furniture and the house. They wrapped the furniture carefully in the furniture pads that we provided. They brought the equipment they needed to load the truck. Everything went very well. Thank you!
