By far, best moving experience i have ever had! Prior to arriving, a phone call in order to let you know they are only a few minutes away, showed up exactly on time and started working right away! They came prepared and ready to make a stressful day (for me) a walk in the park! Young professionals who knew exactly what needed to be done. They were efficient, clean and it was fun being around them and watch them move! No damages, no scratches on the walls, no mess left behind! Very polite and kind to help by asking where everything is going once we arrived at the new house. A big thank you to Ben, Simon and my apologies i'm forgetting the third guys name. Hopefully we meet again when another move is in the works in about 5 years from now!

Super smooth move. The team was nice, very professional and friendly. They arrived super punctually and finished earlier than we expected! They handled everything with care.

The team answered my emails before the move and let us feel at peace. The company even accepts e-transfer for payments, which makes everything so much easier.

I am super happy with my choice in movers - from the very detailed quote form on their website to ensure an accurate quote, to the service the day of-nothing but great service! Taylor and his crew showed up on time (and called when they were on the way!) and handled all my stuff with care. Despite being on the third floor with no elevator, they moved swiftly to get everything done! Was super impressed with their efficiency while still carefully handling things. They also took care of loading my storage space so that we maximized the space and got everything in! Will definitely use Bust A Move again! Thanks again!

After moving for the second time in two years with Bust a Move, I can only confirm that there's no better company--and I've lived all over the world. Four young men packed up my entire apartment with striking efficiency and moved me into my new place, disassembling and reassembling large items of furniture, packing and carrying boxes filled with my 350 volume library, all of which had to be moved down two flights at my old place and up a steep flight at my new place. Huge shoutout to Ben, Simon, Michael and Jaden for a job incredibly well done. It was a pleasure.

Communication with management is superb. I received my price estimate within one day and they answered my follow up emails on the same day I sent them. I recommend Bust a Move enthusiastically and without reservation.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4800

I moved with this company last October because of the wildly enthusiastic reviews. My move was anomalous, I think. The movers were nice, and friendly, but a few things: they came 40 min. early (I had a 9-9.30 am start time confirmed by phone the night before, they came at 8.20) and then charged me for the 20 minutes they waited as I frantically ran my dog to the dog-sitter, tied up loose ends etc; the mover in charge didn't have me look at the form you're supposed to look at at the start and finish - until the move was over (when I couldn't dispute the start time or the insurance I apparently bought although I've never bought moving insurance in my life); they forgot the toolbox they needed (at least they didn't charge me for the 45-min. wait); they placed several boxes upside down in the new apartment; one mover (really nice but really clumsy) crushed an art print I'd moved separately by putting a box on top of it; and a few other little things. I won't use them again personally, but I see that tons of people have had a great experience.

First off: my move ended up costing nearly three times the estimate I was initially quoted, so that should be borne in mind. However, I figured the estimate was optimistic (just not that much!) so it didn't cause us too much difficulty. Just be aware of it.

That said, the service from the movers themselves on the day was fantastic. We had a slightly complicated move: empty my apartment, take three appliances to a friend's place, empty my partner's apartment, then move into our new place. All the apartments (except the friend with the appliances) were on the third floor.

The men we were sent were all very courteous, friendly, efficient, and obviously preoccupied both with going as speedily as possible but also with being careful with our belongings. Anything that needed it was carefully wrapped. They responded helpfully and accommodatingly to any special requests.

At my friend's house with the appliances, I watched as they carefully analyzed how to get the appliances through tough corners without damaging the doorknobs etc., and they did it! They also cheerfully removed my friend's old appliances to the curb, but the lead mover made a point of insisting that the doors be removed from the old refrigerator for child safety, and I was impressed by his care for that.

The estimate was so far off because of the huge amount of time the whole move took, but nobody could have done it any more quickly and efficiently than these men did. With the one caveat about the estimates, I know who I'll recommend to friends in the future.

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $3000

The initial appointment time was for early morning, and I asked to have it moved to be a little bit later. They moved the time promptly and without complaint.

The movers themselves called me about 15 minutes prior to arriving, and throughout the whole process they were very polite and efficient. No damage to my items or the units, all of the furniture was very well wrapped, and they listened to my comments on which items needed special handling.

The final price was slightly lower than the quote, so their cost estimation is on point!

Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an excellent moving company!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $800

This was a small local move for an elderly aunt who was in a hospital.  We were helping to get her moved to a retirement home but she was unable to provide direction.  We were in another city when we set up the move, but were there when the actual move took place.  Jonathan was very helpful in guessing what materials might be required, and there was more than enough. The 3 workers arrived 10 minutes early, and were easy-going but hard working.  Because of limitations at the unloading end we had only a small time window to pack, load, transport, and unload.  All done between 8 am and 1130 am! The workers took no short cuts.. everything was well packed, and even when I was chatting with them they kept working.  No wasted time, no wasted material, no damage.  All on time and to budget.  That's what I call a quality job!  Could not have asked for more!  .

I move last week with Bust a Move from a 2 bedroom home in Hampstead to another 2 bedroom in Westmount beside the park. It took a long time for me to choose a moving company because I have many valuable items (china, artwork, antiques) and after lots of research I decided to hire Bust a Move because of the good online reviews their company had and the general good feeling I got when talking to their representative on the phone. Martine explained everything very thoroughly and made sure I understood everything about the upcoming move. On moving day I was impressed by the three man team that showed up. All were neatly groomed and were dressed the same in jeans, and company sweaters and vests (they looked professional).  Before starting the move they put down long rubber mats throughout my home to protect the floors (It wasn't really necessary but thoughtful none the less). They then proceeded to wrap up my valuable items in protective blankets and constructed special packing boxes for my artwork. I must say I was impressed with their level of respect for both me and my belongings. They called me by Mrs. Webb and were polite.  After about 30 minutes of watching them work I knew I was in good hands. The offload proved to be a slight challenge as the truck had to be parked far from the main door which added time and effort to the move. They had a lot of wheel carts which helped speed things up. Everything was put into it's place and they put my big bed back together. At one point one of the guys placed his toolkit on my bedside table which I was not too happy about because it could have been scratched but luckilly it was not. Overall I would highly recommend them based on my experience with them. My move could not have been any smoother and I felt like it was well worth the price that I had paid.

Strongly recommend Bust a Move to anyone looking for honest and professional movers who will provide you with a stressfree move. My move happened on an extremely cold winter day and at no point did any of the guys complain, in fact it was quite the opposite as they all had sunny dispositions. They rolled out the carpet upon arriving to protect the floors and each had a specific role which helped the move run smoothly. I would encourage anyone to take the extra insurance as I did. Jon (the owner) was quick to help get my items back to me in excellent condition. I would not hestitate to recommend Bust a Move to friends or family, they have in fact restored my faith in movers.

We have moved a few times in Montreal and this time was, by far, the best. Our team of 3 well dressed, polite, friendly guys showed up exactly on time and were unfailingly friendly and polite the entire time - even when tired and stressed. We had a 5-year old 'helping' us, and our team were smiling at him all day and letting him 'help'. We had an entire 3-floor house to move and from start to finish was about 6 hours.   There were some pieces of furniture that they were not able to get down our tricky stairwell, but they tried all sorts of ways and even helped to see if we could figure out another way to put things. Moving day is NEVER enjoyable, but our guys made the day a lot more tolerable. Thank you Bust a Move. You rock!
