My initial impression was positive. They seemed quick, efficient and friendly. But the end result was far from satisfactory. Art works were broken and some items were missing. It was not until a month after I reported the breakage that they told me they would undertake the repair. It would have saved me a great deal of anxiety if they had told me that at the outset. I have still not received the missing items.

The team from Britannia Lanes did a 1st rate job packing and moving our mothers' belongings from Somerset to Kent. The team were polite, punctual, and worked hard and adhered to all Covid-19 regulations. Britannia Lanes remains my 1st choice of removal company. As a family we have used them 3 times and every move has been relaxed, no breakage and stress free.

Removal

Following a video quotation, Brittania carried out the first of two removals on time and with efficiency.

On arrival the crew were friendly, hard working and obliging.

Loading was done carefully and without fuss. Similarly unloading at the delivery address, efficient, careful and helpful.

Accordingly we look forward to the second phase removal in a few months.

House to apartment move

Packing and moving the contents of my late mother's flat from Somerset

This is the second time I have used Britannia Lanes in Somerset and on both occasions the service was excellent. The team arrived on time to pack and collect, and delivered on schedule to the destination. They were pleasant and efficient, and took good care of everything. Booking the service was easy with the office staff very helpful and efficient. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Excellent, hassle free service

Our experience with Britannia Lanes of Somerset & Bristol was excellent. From the quoted price of storing our household goods, to the condition they were in when they arrived at our new home - we had nothing but great service from the staff.

The storage units are in good condition and we had easy access to our unit.

Although moving is an extremely stressful time, Britannia Lanes made sure at least that part was as smooth as possible.

Fantastic service

Broken furniture.

Contacted Brittania lanes regarding my broken furniture and was immediately told tough, should of taken their insurance plus get a price for return journey first or you will be ripped off by an extra £300 plus because they are busy in July than when they moved us in February. I don’t rate their customer services.

Macfarlanes.

This is third time we have used Britannia Lanes and again lived up to and surpassed expectations. Move done overs four days Packed for us and with Mike in charge all went smoothly. Nothing seemed too much problem. They made a really stressful time in life go well.

Nothing more to say than A1. From the initial contact with the office team through pricing clarity and the guys on the day all was good.
I would use the service again.

House move.

Just used Britannia lanes from Exeter for a house move in Torquay, although they were very helpful before the move providing boxes etc, since the move when some money has been mislaid they're representive Matt has been less accommodating, especially after the police said they couldn't take it any further?
After sales service awful and slow, haven't even had a reply to my last 2 emails.wouldn't recommend at all.

Luton Van Hire.

I hired the vehicle for 2 days online it was quick and easy. When I collected Andrew was very friendly and helpful, made sure I knew how everything worked and where everything was. When I returned the van it was raining, Andrew checked the mileage and van whilst I sat in the office and returned the full £200 deposit. I would use them again.

5 star service 5 star staff.

Fantastic service from start to finish during the hottest time of the year! Moved from a 2 bed in to a 3 bed and nothing was too much trouble even through the heat. I couldn't recommend this company highly enough. They kept my spirits high when I was getting stressed and permanently had smiles on their faces.

From the beginning, I liked the fact that an estimator came to the house and checked over my requirements in person, rather than an on line estimate. Less margin for error that way!

We moved from Taunton to Bridgwater and our move was made so much easier by the lovely team at Britannia Lanes. Everything was done on time, the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for this amazing team. Highly recommend.

Removal and storage.

Removal men arrived on time, were very efficient and packed everything in 5 containers instead of the quoted 7 thus saving me money. After 2 months in storage my furniture was delivered to my new home, no damage or breakages. All staff were friendly and polite and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

House removal.

Great service. The access for the collection was difficult but the men coped brilliantly. Despite our move being done in pouring rain, our furniture was well taken care of. Delivery was much easier and items were distributed to all the right rooms. Very impressed. No trouble recommending Britannia Lanes for household removals.

I chose Britannia Lanes to move the contents of my home in France to my home in Somerset. They were unbeatable on price and extremely professional & helpful, taking care of every aspect of my international move.
