Long-distance move from Berlin, Land Berlin to Berlin, Land Berlin

Relocate stress-free.

A very young company that still wants to establish itself and that is why it tries so hard.
Friendly service from the phone to moving into the new apartment. Competent advice, especially during a viewing appointment!
From cardboard boxes to packaging material to dismantling and assembling the furniture and packing service for a 2 room apartment for 850 euros.
Careful handling of the removal goods and despite hard work, the employees are very friendly.
I had a lot of offers, including extreme dumping prices without much detailed inquiries, where I can imagine that the time and quality would have to suffer when moving.
It was also important to me that the hallways and elevators are not damaged. Everything was well protected. Nothing broke, the furniture was reassembled correctly. A flawless move and I am extremely satisfied, moving always means stress. Avatar - Removals did that for me a lot. Thank you!

With built-in kitchens - fingers off!

During the tour, I was guaranteed that qualified staff would take care of my fitted kitchen.
However, moving the fitted kitchen was absolutely unreasonable and even dangerous to life!
Built-in cupboards were installed at different heights and sometimes at an angle. the foot panels were only ajar and all fell over after the first sweep in the new apartment!
With the built-in cooker it was not recognized that there is a difference between three-phase and alternating current!
After almost a week without a working stove, an electrician finally came. He said the stove wiring was grossly negligent and actually worth reporting!
Many items have been damaged during the move and my new floor has also been damaged.
I had the impression that the movers didn't give a damn about my things or about proper work .. collected money and then just got over the stage quickly ..

Absolutely no recommendation
2 stars are only given because at least all things were transported from A to B.

Long-distance move from Berlin, Land Berlin to Berlin, Land Berlin

Definitely not recommendable.

The owner and "seller" of Avatar Removals, Mr. Cetin, makes a very good first impression and is a very good seller: He knows what to say, e.g. that he takes special care of all furniture, that he will be there himself on the day of the move and that he coordinates everything, that he comes to view and agree a fixed price for all furniture and boxes. -
What comes after that at Avatar Umzüge, unfortunately, cannot hold this first impression at all: No professional moving company as suggested by the Avatar Umzüge website, but a group of moderately motivated "Neukölln boys" with a rusty truck. They first loaded all the moving boxes into the truck. When all the cardboard boxes, i.e. all my belongings, were stowed away, they claimed the truck was full and the furniture would no longer fit. - You would therefore have to drive twice. But only one trip was agreed at a fixed price. I have to pay double and also pay in advance. When I insisted on the fixed price, they knowingly threatened that I had no choice but to unload everything on the street or even just drive away with my boxes, so that I was about to call the police. - I have no choice but to respond to the price request. After I paid the furniture was loaded and of course everything fit into the truck. the hold was not even 10% full with the boxes. - It's all a set game: a low offer with big promises to get the job, then invite half of them and blackmail the additional demand. Of course, Mr Cetin himself was not there on the day of the move and was also not available to help on the phone. - After moving, I also found out that a box was missing valuable items! - A very stressful and disappointing experience. The only positive thing to say is that the guys were actually very careful with the furniture. For an extra star. - Avatar removals is by no means recommended!

Very reliable moving team.

Good preliminary discussion and planning. The team was very competent, personable, in a good mood and hard-working, despite the difficulty of the 4th floor without elevator. My first move was at Avatar removals from Berlin to Munich, I can only say it is a trustful moving team, everything was TOP and nothing was broken. The Avatar Removals is a very trustworthy removal team, I thank you again and will definitely recommend you.

Gladly again.

The boys were very personable and very polite, the move was very quick and brisk. Everything was packed very neatly and that made me happy. The boys treated my things carefully and I expected that. When unloading, you were very happy Everything was unpacked and sorted. All my expectations were met and something like that is expected from a moving company. With a loud voice I can only recommend Avatar Company Weter.

I'm very satisfied.

The guys arrived on time and started right away. They were very friendly and despite our Turkish roots we were able to communicate very well in German.
The move went off without a hitch. All cabinets and shelves etc were packed well. The large wardrobes were expertly dismantled and assembled.
Since not everything fit in the truck, you had to drive twice. Additional costs were not charged for this.
All in all, a smooth move from Berlin to Falkensee.
I have nothing to complain about.

Everything was very good from the first contact to the last moment.

Since such a move is always a matter of trust, I dealt with a lot of reviews in advance and finally got stuck with the company Avatar. I was not disappointed. Everything was absolutely professional. From the first meeting to the actual move date, the communication was perfect.
The staff were really all friendly and helpful and the furniture was carefully and safely packed. Even small extra requests were fulfilled completely unbureaucratically. All in all, it was an absolutely stress-free and pleasant move.
Many, many thanks to the entire Avatar team!

Fast, nice and professional.

At Avatar Umzüge I moved on two floors (loaded in the afternoon, unloaded the following day 200 km away). The team was there a little earlier when loading, which I liked. The loading was done within an hour, as was the unloading the next day, when the truck arrived on time. The team was friendly and there was no damage to the furniture. I got a very affordable price compared to other providers and I am very satisfied with the result.

International move from Frauenfeld, Thurgau to Berlin, Land Berlin

Dubious and unprofessional.

I had a move from near-border Switzerland to Germany. The moving van came more than 4 hours late without anyone contacting me. I was told that was "normal" for international moves.
Then a piano that I had announced would have to be carried up a small flight of stairs was simply left standing. It's too heavy and the stairs too long. (The moving people did not have any piano transport equipment. It should be noted here.)
As if that weren't enough, it was then illegally driven across the border without customs clearance, whereby I had to take care of the customs clearance later.
As agreed, a no-parking zone was set up either at the departure or arrival point, luckily my landlord had taken care of it.
At the place of arrival, when I asked to be careful in the apartment (had my reason to say so) I was literally replied to "this is not a new building, a few scratches are not bad".

All in all, the most unprofessional thing I have ever experienced in moving and I have already had various moves carried out.

Amazingly relaxing for a move and very nice staff.

I am very satisfied with Avatar moves and can only recommend the company.
I moved from Berlin to Bavaria in May. The owner was there in person to view the apartment. A very pleasant man, polite and relaxed. He assured me that I don't have to worry and that he will take care of everything ... and that's how it was. The boxes arrived on time and I could have got more at short notice. The colleagues were on time on the day of the move, very quickly and carefully, and very courteous and friendly. After 3 hours everything was loaded and unloaded after 3 hours the next day. All the furniture and especially my valuable buffet arrived intact in the new apartment. Anything I didn't want to take with me was disposed of by the company, which was a great relief for me. The price was totally fair and should I move again (which hopefully won't happen anytime soon), I'll ask Avatar moves again.

Fast and reliable.

Let Avatar move from Berlin to Dresden and absolutely satisfied! The coordinator recorded all of the moving material 4 weeks in advance and gave a cost estimate - there was already nothing to complain about. On the day of the move, 3Mann stood punctually in front of the entrance with a sufficiently large truck. They immediately started packing and securing the goods to be moved. After 90 minutes everything was properly packed and loaded! 3 hours later the truck stopped in Dresden in the yard and without a break it was immediately unloaded and transported to the 1st floor. 90 minutes later everything was in the apartment 80 square meters and only then was there a short break! Then pay the agreed price and not a cent more! However, these hard-working guys are always happy to give everyone a generous tip! That is why I will make the next move with Avatar again! Highly recommended!

Moving people great - invoicing fraudulent

It's 3 stars because the 4 guys who made the move were great. But then the furniture to be disposed of increased from 2-3 m3 to 8m3! It doesn't get any more unprofessional

Such a rude employee who put massive pressure on my elderly parents (because it was more than stated - no furniture, only shelves) so that I was forced to pay more money (1000 euros) by immediate transfer. Since it was an international move, I couldn't be there in Berlin. When the moving company arrived in Belgium, the dispute continued and the employee demanded another 1000 euros because the elevator only went to the 3rd floor, but I live on the 4th floor. Since it was agreed, but not on the "contract", the employee refused to carry the boxes and shelves up. The employee also stated that the boxes were packed too heavily. I didn't pay the 2nd claim! In the end I carried everything, except for a few things, up the top floor alone (woman in her early 50s). I thought employees of a moving company could carry more than 10 kilos... I've been waiting for the bill (guaranteed by the boss) for the additional 1000 euros ever since. My own contribution is that I didn't pay attention to what or how something was written in the contract - women never stop learning. Anyway, it was a very bad experience and I have never seen anything so rude and unprofessional!!!
