House move

The second stage of our removal was moving our items from storage to Somerset.

This again went very smoothly, I was kept up to date with traffic causing delays in arriving. When Mick and James arrived they worked very hard and efficiently whilst been helpful, polite and considerate.

Another 5 star experience, I would definitely recommend this company.

House Move

From initial enquiry to removal day, every member of the team were friendly, helpful and professional. Bethany and Mark offered reassurance and advice throughout and on moving day the lads on the van worked tirelessly. Excellent service.

Moving home

Calvin and his colleague were absolutely superb from the outset.we really couldn’t have done this without them. They were very helpful & considerate. They even took the dining table apart as to protect it

Move to Castle Carrock

On the first day two extremely helpful and professional employees carried and safely loaded a full large truck. During the time with us they carried out there work in a courteous, pleasant and very efficient manner. On the second day two more employees arrived to remove all of our outdoor furniture in just the same manner as the previous day. Upon our arrival at our new property five employees were unloading all of our furniture in a very efficient manner. Nothing was damaged during this whole process,and I have no hesitation in recommending them to families looking for a professional storage and removal company.

Smooth move.

We opted to pack ourselves, the assessor was accurate with boxes required and they were delivered when requested as we were working to a tight moving date. The boxes are marked with room details and asks you to identify if the contents are breakable which was great. The 2 man team who moved us were polite, knowledgeable and respectful of our furniture and possessions, there was nothing broken or damaged during the move. The move was about 5 miles, we left one property at around 1pm and were fully moved into our new home by 3:30pm. Overall the Andrew Porter Team made the move easy and took a lot of the stress and worry out of what can be a very difficult process.

House move.

The service was excellent and made our house move a lot less stressful. The team, particularly Steve and Paul Burke, were friendly, courteous, calm and extremely helpful. They were joined later by more team members whose names I wish I could remember because they were brilliant too!

Steve and Paul wrapped and boxed all the breakable items and wall paintings, which reduced the work load and the stress. I can definitely recommend using the packing service.

We moved to a smaller house so I was worried that it might be a bit too chaotic fitting everything in. However it was all very efficient. The furniture was placed exactly where I wanted, the beds re-assembled, the boxes neatly stacked.

I really liked the team that moved us. Steve, who packed up with Paul and stayed throughout the whole process, was a star.

We found the residential/domestic moving experience with Andrew Porter Ltd to be absolutely fantastic. The price quoted and paid was very good value for money. It took the stress out of moving. We had a lovely man from Andrew Porter Ltd come to the house to do an initial assessment of our moving needs. We felt very special that our move was tailored to us and not treated as just another move. We opted to pack our own items and were provided with more than ample suitable boxes and packing materials.

We also opted for a pickup, and leave in storage for 3 days and then deliver. The moving out guys (I think I recall their names to be Les and Steve) who arrived to our home in Adlington, Lancashire and did the pick up were brilliant. Very professional, courteous and did the pick up with absolutely efficiency We were assured that our items, once packed into the truck, remained there untouched and in a secure compound until the day we moved in. We found this to be very reassuring.

On the day of the move into our new home, the same truck with our belongings arrived at the new property at 9am in the morning - very prompt! The moving in guys (Ludo and John) were unbelievably…

Removal from storage to new home.

The efficiency of our removal was second to none and we were kept up to speed at all stages.

The staff Paul and Joe were very friendly and worked tirelessly throughout to deliver my furniture etc and they continuously checked that we were happy with the location of all items.

Despite our very short notification of our move the company went out of its way to accommodate our needs during a very stressful time. We will definitely use this company again.

Furniture storage and move to Lytham.

Two lads turned up on time packed all our furniture into two large container crates wrapped furniture in blankets only took them 1hour 30 mins brilliant fellow's very professional stored for two and a half months rang up for a date to deliver furniture again lads arrived on time very professional all our furniture were placed in righrooms I can't praise all staff enough they were great.

Help with a protracted removal.

The office staff at Andrew Porters were amazingly helpful, understanding and professional as our plans to store, then move, dragged out over many months.

When it came to the end, we were booked in at short notice and the removal squad were superb.

We used this firm over thirty years ago, were not disappointed this time, and would use them again if we ever moved.

Removal.

We moved from Farnworth, Bolton to Wincanton, Somerset on the 15th February, from start to finish it was wonderful, there was no stress what so ever, from ringing to ask for a quote the man coming to assess to job the delivery of the boxes every thing went like clockwork. On the day the two lads who came were efficient friendly and just altogether great, nothing to much trouble for them they helped my husband to dismantle some things in the garage, as he wasn't to good on the day. As we were moving 200 plus miles away they brought the furniture the next day, gave us a time and kept us informed, they put every thing were we wanted it and were fantastic, still smiling at the end of it. I would recommend Andrew Porters and they were cheaper than the other quotes we had had. As I said at the beginning FANTASTIC from start to finish.

Moved Preston to Derby.

Excellent service from everyone at Andrew Porter. Everyone was extremely helpful, from Elaine and Kim in the office, Paul the assessor and Ludovic, Aarron and Les who arrived punctually on my moving day. Elaine said they would arrive between 9 and 9.30 and they were there at 9.05. They were incredibly efficient at loading the van and then had to tackle the M6 and the roadworks on a Friday (never a good day for that part of the motorway). They arrived before we did in the car. Just as quick to unload. Everything left in the correct rooms and bed and wardrobe reassembled quickly. In fact everything was finished by 3pm which I find incredible. Would thoroughly recommend.
