Beware. Their real reviews are on BBB.org. I had to move from PA to Texas. They were very cooperative till I gave them money. The minute they got the money they stopped taking calls and started showing their true colors. They would not give me any specific date of pick up or delivery. I did not know in USA people can be so rude and unprofessional. When I paid them they said they dont take credit card and so like an idiot I paid them through debit card. I did not know that if you pay through debit card you can not dispute it. I could not trust them as they gave me all indications of a bad service so I decided to not take their services. When I asked for money they said you can only cancel with 21 days. So when you ask for a pick up and delivery date they can get away by saying we will let you know a date when we can pick up your stuff? Really? Movers decide a date of pick up? Can any company do that to its customers? Is that what USA has come to??

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3200

If you want to pick a moving company trustworthy enough to move your 75 year-old mom, learn from my mistake and never use Alltrust for the following reasons. 1) Bait and Switch: Estimate was $7,950 and actual $16,642. Estimated cubic feet by multiple movers including Alltrust was around 1,350 but changed to 1,951 when we got the final bill at 11:15 at night. 2) Bait and Switch With a Hint of Extortion: At 8:00 PM - 6 1/2 hours into the moving process & with 70% of the items already in the truck - we were told we had to do a "Full pack" which increased our "Partial Pack" fees by $2,940. Didn't have much of a choice at that point but to pay it. 3) Negligence and/or theft: Many items were missing or broken. They arrived at my mom's new home at 6:15 at night in the dark in a senior community. My brother needed to help them unload the truck because it would have been impossible for them to unload without his assistance. Multiple items were noted as broken and a follow up call was provided to the company for missing items. Examples: China set dropped off truck, table for dining room broken, shelving for bookshelves missing, many sentimental art pieces, books and pictures were completely lost. We estimated that there was at least $5000 in damaged goods or "lost" items from the move. This excludes any cost one may apply a sentimental value to. 4) Lack of Reasonable Resolution: The company has offered a whopping $30 settlement fee for the damaged/missing items and no refund on the exorbitant charges incurred for packing and supposedly storing (x 3 months) items that they lost.

I had a local move in Miami. I confirmed my move time 3x over the week. When the movers did not show I called and could not get a hold of customer service. They finally sent 2 men and I was forced to pay additional time for the elevator reservation. 2 men took 6 hours to move a half empty 1 bedroom apartment, they tried to charge me for several boxes when I had asked for 1 box for a TV. They chose to take a 1.5 hour break when moving the items from point A to B, which I was charged additional time for. Furthermore upon arrival they refused to unload the truck unless I paid for all the time plus 2 additional hours - this was not in the contract and I was never told. The drivers said they would refund us the lunch time. We had friends come help unload, it took 30m to have 4 people unload the truck. They took an additional 1.5 hours to rebuild 1 king bed and 1 dining table. Upon completion they never refunded us the break time and supervisor was extremely nasty. Worst experience.

This company lied to my daughter and her husband. My son-in-law is military being deployed in a few days and has been forced to buy back everything he is required to have before deployment. Which is not cheap. My daughter and there 8 month old baby is sitting in their new home with no furniture and a suitcase of clothes. The dispatch lied repeatedly about the delivery date and continues to change the date of delivery saying now it will be another 30 days, when ask where the furniture is so we can fly back and rent a Uhaul to move it ourselves across country, they can’t tell us. They have either lost, stolen or destroyed everything these two young people own and they are very cold about it but will not tell the truth. On top of all this theyarebeing charged over $10,000. This is a bunch of moving thieves.

This mover picked up our stuff on July 5 for our move from California to Arizona. Since that day we have been waiting for delivery.

I know it is hard to believe, but we've been waiting over two and a half months for our stuff from a neighboring state. The seasons are starting to change, my child is in school, and we purely NEED our things to get through daily life. I never imagined that this would happen.

A customer service representative has been trying to help us, but there are always no updates. The representative told us that only the local operator decides the shipping process and that representative can only inform them to push forward with the shipment.

We understand this COVID-19 circumstance and the drastic increase in the number of people moving from California to other states. But then, what is the point of that company's system? Even with all these delays, they can't even put a priority to help customers in need like this. As you can read, we are very disturbed and disappointed.

Honestly, I'm not even sure if our stuff will be delivered anymore, but if this review reaches the company, please ship our package immediately! Moving is stressful enough, and if you have to deal with the problem we have, it is just terrible. I hope that no other customers or families will have to go through what we are experiencing.

Before you consider this moving company, PLEASE review the 60 complaints about the company received by the Better Business Bureau during the past 3 years. The complaints are strikingly similar to our own. Our experience was horrendous. Don’t make the same mistake.

Our complaints:

1. We paid for a full-service, full-packing, cross-country move costing over 31K. But due to Alltrust’s failure to arrive and move our belongings during the agreed-upon time, we ended up having to do a large share of the packing and moving ourselves. Even after my wife and I packed and moved things out to the driveway all night and got help from friends the next day, we were unable to get our belongings out of the house before ownership transferred to those who purchased our house.

2. The driver arrived with a single 26-foot Budget rental truck in spite of the fact that our binding estimate indicated that one 26 foot truck would not be enough space for all of our belongings. The moving company refused to rent another truck, instead loading and unloading the single truck in a storage facility and returning the next day even though the next day the house would no longer be owned by us.

3. The incompetence and unprofessionalism of the movers in Illinois caused damage, emotional distress and inflated cubic feet charges.

• Many of the boxes we unloaded in Arizona were only partially full, yet we got charged for the space that the whole boxes occupied.

• Soon after they arrived, it became clear that at least 2 of the movers had never worked for Alltrust movers before. In fact, it seemed clear that they had never packed for any move before.

• The packers were inexperienced and incompetent. We were told that they would disassemble tables and beds before moving, but they didn’t. When we asked why not, the driver said he didn’t have any tools. He didn’t even have a tape measure and asked to borrow one from us.

• Inadequately packed boxes resulted in thousands of dollars of damage to our belongings.

• The driver was repeatedly rude to my wife, refusing to listen to her, instead insisting that he speak with me.

4. When the truck finally arrived in Arizona, we were told that unless the movers were able to unload in less than a single day (the truck arrived at 10 AM), there would be additional charges. Yet there were just 3 men there to unload. Unloading progress was impeded by the fact that our belongings were mixed with those of others on the truck, and the moving crew spent a considerable portion of the day simply re-arranging things in the truck in order to find our belongings. In order to avoid extra charges we ended up doing much of the unloading ourselves.

5. The incompetence and unprofessionalism of the movers in Arizona wasted time, caused further damage to our belongings, and created emotional distress.

• The movers rushed and broke many things in boxes by bouncing them down steps to our front door with hand carts, moving at times at almost a running pace. A few times I could literally hear things breaking as they bounced down the steps.

• Our distress was compounded by the fact that when asked politely to wear a mask as a COVID precaution, one of the movers refused.

6. Alltrust did not respond to our complaints, but rather outsourced them to another company. This outside company handled the complaints in a cookie cutter fashion, in the end offering to reimburse less than 2% of our requested compensation.

DON'T DO IT. Their customer service (if you can even get them on the phone or to answer your voicemails/emails) is awful and not helpful. They never told me when my stuff was picked up even though they said they would. I was completely in the dark until only the day before they told me my stuff would be delivered. My stuff showed up way past the "30 day window" their contract promises. They are unclear and antiquated in every way they deal with payments. They showed up super late the day they were originally going to pick my stuff up and so we had to reschedule. I tried calling them multiple times that day when they weren't showing up when they said they would. They then charged me $300 even though THEY WERE THE ONES WHO MESSED UP AND WERE LATE. They are rude and condescending in all communications. I had to track and record every conversation with them in preparation for them just never delivering my stuff. When the salesperson sold me the job they completely fooled me into thinking that my stuff would be delivered on time. I filed with the Better Business Bureau and they didn't even respond to that either. Tragic experience and companies run this poorly should be held accountable- don't give them your $ I promise you'll regret it if you do

I recently moved from a two-bedroom two-story fully furnished unit to another two-story unit. The day before the move I received a text message notifying me they would arrive at 8 am. (arriving on time the next morning), John informed me this would take approximately 4hrs and that is exactly what it took them, they were cheerful, fast-paced, and very careful with the handling of my furniture. I would highly recommend them and use them for my next move. Many thanks to these men for making an unpleasant job seem easy.

Movers were scheduled for December 09th Friday later that evening or Saturday I received a call from Ellie stating they needed to push the pickup date for the 12th of December I replied my entire house hold contents need to be out by the 13th of December that is the closing date for our house and we need to turn over the keys to the new owners.

On December 12th the movers were expected to arrive between 9am to 10 am I received a phone call from the passenger of the moving truck { Bruce} he had stated the truck broke down. and their estimated arrival would be about 5pm to 6 pm. They arrived at 7:30 pm Bruce came in videoed the contents of the house? I had already done that with Mike when getting an estimate.

afterwards Bruce stated that they would work till around 10 pm and than be back on the 13th to pick up the rest of everything. I replied no that can't happen you were suppose to be here in the Am and tomorrow we turn our keys over to the new owners everything has to be out tonight, the 12th. he replied oh okay... That was an extremely long night for us. we were up very early waiting for the arrival of the movers and saying good by to friends that were stopping by. Alex the driver was numbering and tagging items as Bruce was loading. It was nearing 3 am when another guy showed up, and said Hi I'm with them I just got in from the airport, he stated O my god I can't believe you are working late.

he came up to me and said show me everything that is going, so again I took the time and showed him all the rooms and said EVERYTHING! in each room and than I showed him the back porch and stuff in the shed as well. and the bird bath. After showing him he complained how cold it was. asked me about my dog, than went outside were the other two guys were. He spoke an unfamiliar language to Alex. came back inside where my husband was washing out stuff in the sink. He said to my husband I'm hungry feed me, frustrated at the demand my husband got some cold chicken out of the fridge and gave it to him. after the guy ate that he said now I'm thirsty give me something to drink. again my husband gave him a bottle of water..

this guy continued to do his own thing not really helping load at all i e mailed Ellie to tell them what the heck was going on. I called him the third wheel because he really did nothing at all but create chaos

3 bedroom house contents $13,000 plus dollars

for missing and broken items and complete chaos and forgetting things , and having to rent a uhaul, afterwards and then a 2nd vehicle to transport forgotten items doubling our gas etc..

to fill out their claim form is a piece of work as well ugh.....

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $14539

We contracted with the movers to pick up our stuff from Orlando FL in mid april and advised them we are 2nd floor. We box counted for a good est. We did everything but load the truck. We paid for the deposit. They wanted cash app. Our point of contact was Mike. He disappeared on the day of moving. A copy of our contact disappeared that day as well. Could not pull it online anymore. The driver was also the mover, rooked us out of more money because we supposedly had more stuff. We didnt. The driver even left stuff behind and we could not fit it into our car. His rented helper tried to steal our TV (per the driver). They bumped and banged our stuff all the way down off of the 2nd floor so when we got our stuff back, we had a lot of DAMAGES! Not to mention stolen stuff. Antiques that can never, ever be replaced! And the boxes were filled with roaches and mice when we got our stuff back. The same driver was not happy that we paid the company in full ahead of time. I reached out to the "insurance company" they use and they only offered 75.00. That's it. I have antique quilts that were made before WWI stolen! Antique pens! Our furniture had scratches and dings that they didn't have before. But Alltrust Moving & Storage, Inc, is refusing to even pay the 75.00. They owe at least $1000 for all damages and missing items. I even reached out to them about the "insurance payment" and I get nothing from them. No response.
