All Country Moving and Storage

So the contracted movers that came yesterday whose name in the truck read All Country Moving and Storage decided to increase the price per cubic feet. There was NO change in space needed and I even suggested to reduce my space needs from 1700 cf to 1500 cf for the same agreed price. Long story short, they left without picking up anything. This price increase transpired only after seeing a packed 830 cf container. They did not see anything else other than the PackRat container.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5525

Avoid at all costs! There are so many options out there, take your time and do your research! After waiting almost three weeks for my belongings to arrive in Illinois from NYC, after being told it would take one week, they show up in a pick up truck trailering an old dilapidated race car trailer. If you look close in the first photo, you can see the truck fenders being held on with duct tape! The trailer was not packed in order of delivery. They had to squeeze my things out of the side door, as it was packed at the opposite end of the big opening. Many things were damaged and a few missing. Communication is also severely lacking! Looked like they picked up day laborers. But, once they have your deposit, you are trapped! There is no consistency of information between all the people you communicate with. I should have just packed up myself and drove the UHaul to my destination and saved a lot of money. A very hard lesson learned! Please heed my warnings!!

I’ve had the displeasure of working with All County Moving and Storage to handle my move from NY to OK this past month. I recently received my items that were in transit for close to two weeks. The delivery driver- Moe- was rude, short and threatened to not hand me my items if I did not have the ability to pay him at that exact moment after we both realized my bank puts a limit on my daily withdrawls. He was unforgiving and informed me that he would bring my things somewhere else and I’d have to then pay more to sort through getting them back. I was also told at the last minute that he would have to add extra for an elevator (which I was told would not be extra). They also charged for extra cube space even though I described in detail how many items I would be moving.

This all started with Andrew- a sales rep- who was quick to take my cc info and over promise on the delivery. He informed me that this was a route the company takes often and that the amount of items I was bringing was well within the limit of the cube storage on the truck, going as far as saying that I could even add several boxes if needed. He told me I should receive my things within the week. So once I agreed to ship with them over the other companies I spoke to, I left NY and began my drive to OK in my car. I was told the delivery driver would pick up my items between 10-2pm and asked my father to be present for the pick up. I got a call at around 8:30 from the delivery driver stating that they were close to my house in NY. My father had to rush home from his appointment because the delivery driver informed me that this was his first stop and he wouldn’t wait. When I called the dispatch office and spoke to Alexis, she was unprofessional and said that there was nothing she could do.

The icing on the cake really is the lack of communication and complete disrespect I have been shown by everyone working for and with this company. From sales (Andrew) to dispatch (Alexis) to shipping (Moe), no one followed up when they said they would and they kept adding charge after charge on top of the price we initially agreed on. I finally got a call about a day before the driver was set to come with the first piece of information I received since booking the company over 1.5 weeks ago.

I would strongly suggest not using them. Do not be tempted by the price because after they add on all the extras they don’t mention upfront, you are paying as much as you would for a more reputable company. WOULD NEVER USE AGAIN.

NJ to California - A move that will not be forgotten.

Tony the pick up guy and Nadia staged a drama to have us pay more than the estimate. They effectively played good cop bad cop and compelled us to pay, if not say bye to your advance. The most saddening part was hoping helplessly at their mercy that they don't over-charge you. Begged to wait eventually, had to run and stand in front of the truck requesting not to leave. I did receive my shipment delivered by another carrier 2 weeks late. Being two weeks late is the least of our concern though. The concerning part was when we came to realize a month later that a box was missing-Looked all over the place but couldn't find. The trauma me and my wife faced was real. Felt powerless and incapacitated through the move. We know we could have called them to dispute the missing box but did not. I know we could have and it was a choice we made- That's how poorly we were treated. I'm glad the move is done but I hope all potential customers be wary of these two parties. Tony's help Jose kept quite-he was just there to pack and move. The gentleman who dropped off our stuff was decent too. We tipped both parties generously as we respect hard labor. At the end of the day, it wasn't the extra $500 -$600 or the missing box that bothered us- It's the feeling of being incapacitated when you know you are at their mercy once they have your advance.

To Tony and Nadia- We know what an estimate is, but please avoid the staged drama next time around. People appreciate honesty to blarney.

Very good experience. Moved a small house full of furniture, paintings, and about 20 boxes full of stuff. Naidia was very professional and personally very nice. The crew worked very fast but very professionally - you could tell they were very experienced. They put everything where we wanted them to in the house we moved to, including some things that had to go upstairs and downstairs. Everything arrived in good shape with no damage. I paid the same amount as I was quoted and tipped very well for a great job. Highly recommended.

Back in April 2021, I moved from New Jersey to Arizona and All Country Moving and Storage helped make my move seamless. The thought of moving all my belongings across the country was scary but I felt at ease when I called and spoke with Joseph. He and his team are very professional and gave me a great price.

Once the team arrived to pack and pick up my belongings I knew I made the right choice. Not only are they friendly they packed everything carefully and securely and the truck arrived to my new home within the time frame they promised (2 weeks).

All Country Moving and Storage is professional, honest, respectful and experienced. I had excellent communication throughout the entire process with the owner and employees. Any questions I had (and I had many) were answered immediately.

I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends and I will use them again if needed.

Moving your entire home from one state to another is not easy! Thank goodness I found this moving company. I would totally recommend All country moving and storage for moving services . I moved to Miami from NY and trying to find a moving company that was available for my dates was becoming imposible with the pricing . Luckily I finally found them and they carefully packed my furniture and priceless items and delivered it in perfect condition. They charged me $2800 with the full packaging option and I found it very reasonable compared to other companies I found . Finding the right movers makes the transition so much easier. Hopefully I don’t have to move again but if I did I already know who I can trust . Thank you you guys were great from start to finish .

I needed to move a one bedroom apartment from Brooklyn to Miami recently and they charged me 2000 for the service. I am being 100% honest when I tell you the service was incredible. This isn’t my first move and I’ve had horrible experiences in the past from over-charging me to destroying my stuff from a lack of regard for my things. I really enjoyed using you guys to help me move my stuff. Everything came on time and there was a true transparency with everything going on. I have referred this company to my friends and family and have yet to hear anything negative.

My family and I used All Country Moving and Storage for our move from PA to Scottsdale, AZ. All Country Moving and Storage we’re awesome! I had a positive experience with them from the second I called to the time my boxes were delivered. Everything arrived to my apartment in the same condition they left my old house. All my belongs arrived at the time they gave us. The owner was very helpful, Luis and the other guys who moved my belongings were on point, fast and experienced. You can easily tell they have been doing this for years.  They are a very professional team.  I will continue to use them for any future moves… Highly recommended
