I reached agreement with this company in June 2017 to move my belongings from Dubai to Melbourne on a groupage basis to be delivered by the end of Aug. They collected my stuff on 2nd July 2017. Surprisingly, when I checked the status of my shipment and demanded the ship manifest and details, on 20th July, I came to know that they were still in Dubai port and when I complaint that it would change my plan and my family would have to stay in hotel, they raised their voice to me and threaten to return my stuff while I had paid them in advance and left Dubai. Now, it is going to be delivered much later than what “verbally” agreed and promised and I have to pay for hotel God only knows for how many days.

I want to leave a review about the service provided by your company. I am very dissatisfied and will complain to the department….

1. When communicating with your subordinate, I discussed the transportation of a food processor, I clarified that it would be necessary to pay a duty or tax, to which your employee clarified only whether it was new or not. And he wrote that if you don’t have to pay a new one (I’m attaching a screenshot of the correspondence) As a result, when the parcel was delivered, I was billed 200 € and when I asked your subordinate a question, she said that it turns out that there was a duty for the food processor !!! And she always knew it!

2. When discussing the cost of sending and documents, one amount was discussed, and when the invoice was issued, VAT was added there. Your subordinate did not specify this at the beginning of the discussion of the amount sent.

3. When discussing with your employee, she said that people with weights would come and I could clarify and adjust the number of kg that I want to send. As a result, workers arrived who did not smell very good and without scales. And I got more pounds than I planned.

4. I asked if I could send my things in my bags, your subordinate answered yes. I packed my bags so that things would not be damaged and in a way that was convenient for me. As a result, things from the bags were shifted and there is damage.

Another oneid moment, when I wrote to the main number indicated on the site, with whom I can talk or where to file my complaint, they did not answer me. which I also think is unacceptable for the company.

As a result, I am extremely dissatisfied with the services of your company and will complain to consumer protection services

The quoted price by Al Sabaa Movers was acceptable (although not anywhere the cheapest quote). But we chose them due to a good price/time ratio.
Regarding delivery time, from the originally quoted 30 - 35 days from shipment (door-to-door) the real delivery time became 3-3.5 months.
So inevitably we ended up buying most of the essential items that we needed after relocating. In other words we paid twice, and wasted more money on a useless shipment.
Al Sabaa Movers is truly dishonest and misleading. Avoid at all costs.

I recently moved house in Dubai and I chose Al Sabaa movers since their price and the moving procedure told to me were competitive. I am totally disappointed with this Company because my experience was their total lack of professionalism and business ethics.
I moved Friday and as they did not complete the work of re-assembling the moved items at the new place, I was hoping to see them on Saturday to complete the work. To my surprise, I was told that they have another appointment on Saturday and would be available only on Sunday. Me and wife not only had to live without curtains, unassembled furniture and boxes everywhere but also had to empty most of the boxes on Saturday.
Two boys were sent on Sunday to fix the balance work. I had sent pictures of the unfinished work on Friday to their Marketing Manager, Mr. Ejaz and even indicated that if I was to do most of the emptying of boxes, then I would not pay the agreed amount.
When I refused to pay the amount on Saturday, I got abuses from Ejaz cursing me and the family for something that his Company did not honour. So much for using them ever again!!

I would pay more to a more professional company than to hire such unethical outfits.

We were relocating to Mumbai, India and wanted to send our household items by ship. We contacted this company and requested for a quote. A representative (Pramod) came to survey the stuff and said we would require a 7 cubic meter area and quoted us approx AED 5000. On the packing day, our total packing came to 12 cubic meters, a massive 5 cubic meter difference which cost us an additional (approx.) AED 3000.

On 15 Feb 2020, I got a voice messages from +971 527299777 asking if I could pay Universal Relocations (the India counterpart) money and they transfer the money of an equivalent amount into my bank account in Dubai. He also sent me the bank details for Universal Relocations. I told that man I have closed my bank accounts.

We were told we would get our furniture in approx. months’ time however it took us 2 months to get it.

During the survey, the company rep. mentioned that we would have to pay customs in India and all other charges would be paid by them however once we paid customs, we were sent an invoice from Universal Relocations (the India counterpart) worth approx. INR 40000 (40% of total the quotation) as Port Charges. We spoke to Universal Relocations stating that apart from customs were didn't have to pay for anything else. The person on the phone said that they would not deliver our furniture and appliances without the payment. We spoke to Al Saba and Kishwar was rude. He said that Pramod (the rep. who surveyed our house) had left and that it was not his problem if we were not communicated all the charges. He also mentioned that payment of Port Charges is mentioned in their (super long) list of clauses.

Totally disappointed with the experience from Al Sabaa movers.

1.Zerocommunication between the promises made by the sales person and the actual team

2. Not taking care of the Covid -19 precautions

3. Unprofessional and unskilled staff

4. Total delay.. Arriving, packing, unpacking.. all

5. They can't fix things back.. Don't know how to assemble cuboards, and even curtain!!

6. They mix up everything! Living room to bathroom to kitchen!

7. You need to supervise every single thing, to ensure safe covering.

8. Bad transport

If you receive your things back in shape, you are lucky. Please plan a week time of yourself to sort your things by yourself if you choose to hire them. The saving you make in cost is nothing considering the job they leave with youafterwards. good luck!

They made stress free move for me!

With the movers, I had a great experience. The timing and cost of the transfer were exact. During the entire process, the movers kept us informed and simple to connect with them to know everything. They also wrapped everything safely like 52-inch televisions, two large plants and a bicycle they moved all these things with care as it’s their own during the process, nothing has been harmed. I am very pleased with the movers and the cost overall was also so reasonable.
