We used this moving company just recently and I have to agree 100% with all of the negative reviews given about the owner Darrell and his unprofessionalism. Darrell is not a man of word and is not to be trusted. He and his crew were not timely and showed up late on the times that we were scheduled for. During the move masks were not worn, putting both my wife and I at risk. They actually used boxed THAT WE BOUGHT to pack furniture as they did not have these supplies of their own. They damaged several location in the home that we were moving from and we noticed that several pieces of furniture were damaged one we settled in our new place. He refused to setup our washer and dryer and lied to my wife saying that he and I discussed the matter in which we did not. I asked Darrell to include one our TVs to the move and he actually tacked on $100 to put a tv on his trucked, a charge in which he added in on the final invoice. Lastly, I received 2 calls from Darrell confronting us about payment when we promised to CASHAPP him once we had a chance to that evening. The conversation was not very pleasant as I felt that he thought that we were going to try and avoid paying for the service. His call was very confrontational as if he were talkin to a child on the other end of the phone. I would not recommend Ace Logistics Trans. Svc for anything. Please avoid this company at all cost.

Local move from Suwanee, GA to Marietta, GA

Very dissatisfied.

A lot of Ace Movers out there. This one is run by Darrell Lumpkin. I paid in advance to have furniture moved from a storage unit to an auction house. They showed up 1 1/2 hours late. When they got there, it was a cargo van (had provided list of furniture to be moved) which furniture wouldn't fit in (number of pieces or by height of vehicle). There was a driver and a 16 yr old boy (the driver's neighbor's son). Called the owner to try to get it straightened out. He promised to send a truck, but over 2 hours later, the same driver came back with the same van but a different helper. By phone, the owner said they would make 2 trips but the van was still an inadequate vehicle for the items. Also, the drive time of 2 trips could not fit my deadline of getting the items to the place they were going. The driver called a friend who had a high top van who came to help (not associated with the company I had paid). I had to move items myself to the vehicle to be loaded, and there weren't even adequate supplies to protect the items (they used 2 blankets of mine). Finally got to the destination. What should have been a 2 hour job took 6 hours of my day. I sent an email that night and Mr. Lumpkin called offering a free delivery in compensation, but for obvious reasons I rejected that. There was an offer to get back to me regarding refund of some sorts but he did not return correspondence for 72 hrs. I sent another email and in response he called at 11 pm (inappropriate) that night and next morning, and in spite of my request he email or text, he continued to text me to call him. When we finally spoke on the phone, he said the job had been done and that was what mattered. I would propose I'd like the job to be done, and done professionally, but that's just me. That's why so many details to illustrate how unprofessional it was. He offered a partial refund with conditions but he was aggressive, unprofessional, and inappropriate and I had no choice but to eventually hang up. What was simply dissatisfaction with a job on my part became very personal on the other end with unsatisfactory service recovery. I will say that my friend who recommended didn't have issues, but if it's 50/50 getting the job done well and dealing reasonably with individuals, that doesn't seem like good odds. I do not recommend.

Horrible do Not Use Him.

Not sure where to begin. Darrell speaks very highly of his company as he has been doing this for 17 years as and of course brags about all of his celebrity clients. BUT PLEASE BE AWARE this man is a fraud, a liar, and a thief. Not only did he do a horrible job packing up our furniture. When it was shipped everything was broken due to his poor packing job. he packed mirror with no bubble wrap just straight in a box. he wrapped paintings with a blanket? not only did he cancel our move the day of, he also still owes us $925 and has been running from us for over a month saying he will give us this money back. DO NOT use this company. I have never met anyone so unprofessional. not only has he cursed me out but he is extremely rude and has a horrible temper. this has been the most unprofessional moving experience I have ever seen. not even sure if this company has movers insurance because everytime I asked for our money back he says, I don't have it. funny how a company of 17 years doesn't have money.
