This company is awful. They treat their customers like trash. They are super unprofessional during the move. Workers actually showed up high to my job. They quote you at a very low price and then work incredibly slow to try and make the move go longer than necessary. they are not clear when they’re giving you quotes When I brought up the workers being unprofessional to the owner as well as the increased amount of estimate once the move had started they doubled it, and then held my property hostage until I paid the amount that they deemed appropriate not what was quoted to me their thieves.

I hired A&C Brothers Moving & Storage to move my belongings from Phoenix to Tucson. Shortly after the move, I called Stephanie to let her know that a brand new, white, leather chair had been damaged during the move. She sent me the claim form and copied Art (Claims) on the email. I completed the claim form immediately and also sent a picture of the damage. This was sent to Art and Stephanie. Several weeks later, I called and learned that Stephanie had left the company. I attempted to reach Art many times. I finally was able to get a response in late September. He argued that he did not receive the emails and then told me that my chair was dirty and not damaged. I took an additional photo that clearly displayed the damage. Art told me that he would look into it. That was September 27th and I have not heard back from Art. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

A&C Brothers moved me on 10/20/16. I found out shortly after that my MAC BOOK PRO with all my documents and all my daughter's pictures since birth (13 yr) was stollen. I Contacted ART LOPEZ ( OWNER ) to report MARIJUANA being smoked openly during the move and to get the names of the crew that day. One I knew was his Son CRISTIAN LOPEZ.

I visited the other crew men at his hause and knocked on his door. I soon found out after speaking to him that Mr. Lopez's Son CRISTIAN LOPEZ had not only stolen my COMPUTER but over $50,000 dollars worth of JEWELRY& WATCHES and $2000 worth of DESIGNER SUNGLASSES and that's not including all the damage to my personal belongings and Furniture. ( My stuff was in storage, so I was not aware of all of the other stollen Items and damage at the time).

Christen Lopez tried accessing my computer as I found out through my ( Find my Mac) App and when he eventually got locked out the system, he decided to throw my computer in the Canal/wash!! Unbelieable!!
He then tried selling my jewelry and Designer sunglasses to pawn shops around his apartment.

Unfortunantly I had not read the reviews of A&C Brothers prior to hiring them. I wish I would have. Once I read all the negative reviews, I was not shocked to find out that this was not their first time stealing.

A&C Brothers had quoted me about $1000 dollars but ended up charging me $1000 dollars just to move the first half of my Stuff. They would not unload the first half to get the remainder of my Items until they got paid in Full ( BLACK MAIL ). Thinking I had no choice, I paid the $1000 dollars. They unloaded my stuff the day after on 10/21/17 and refused to go back and get the rest of my belongings. I had to get a truck and movers my self to complete my move.

I learned from reading over 100 reviews, that this company has a reputation for bidding low and then have his movers stretch the time by working real slow to collect double of what was originally quoted as well as having his son Cristian help himself (STEAL) to anything he pleases from that costumer and since it's his son stealing, he can blame it on one of the other crew members that have criminal records.

That's right Criminal records! He DOES NOT do a background check as he mentions in his sales pitch and paperwork. I found out by googling his Employees that multiple crew members had a criminal background and one was charged and convicted of BURGLARY & THEFT This employee happened to be part of my crew on my moving day.

PLEASE I urge you NOT to use this A&C BROTHERS MOVING!!
Please read all the reviews on line before making a decision. I'm doing everything I can including filling criminal charges for grand theft, false advertisement, Etc. I'm also doing a class action suit with other victims of Mr. Art Lopez and his fradulant business practice.

Mr Lopez has been getting away with Scamming and Stealing from people for way too long. My goal is to not have anyone else experience and loose as much as I have.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This company is out to rip you off!! They hire criminals that WILL steal from you. There are multiple yelp reviews stating this along with my response here. They move your belonging with no care. they broke a TV stand. scratched my antique wooden table, dented the door to my brand new refrigerator and stole both of my children's PlayStation 4's. They refused to send me any documentation or contracts along with any claim paperwork. They're protecting the two criminals that work for them. WORST MOVING COMPANY. DO NOT USE!!

Stay away from this company. They are not worth one ounce of your time and effort. Completely unreliable and poor to no customer service.

I moved in Phoenix with this company. They were the worst! Didn't show up for the move on the move date and time. Had to reschedule for the next day which caused me the inconvenience of needing to change my scheduled meeting and appointments. They never offered me anything to offset my inconvenience.. oh, they did reduce their hourly rate $6.. whoopie.. They loaded up my stuff and when it came time to unload, they made me pay them before they would unload my things. In all my years of moving, I've never seen this practice of "holding up" a client. They use rented trucks and their movers were kind of slow. So, it cost me 1 and 1/2 hours more than what I budgeted for.

From what I understand, they had to cancel every move that late afternoon and reschedule for the next day or two. Horrible management.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $374

They are very inefficient, took 4 hours to move only a few items (2 beds, 1 sofa, 1 settee, 1 dining table and chairs, 1 chest drawer, 1 chester freezer, 1 tv with stand and 2-3 light weight items; that's all - even no boxes) did not bring necessary tools to dissemble and assemble furniture, very slow and super inefficient. They cost me double than the estimated quote, add additional charge for wrapping (I asked about this before I get their service, they said there would be a one time fee of $95 and it would cover everything including wrapping items with blankets, but at the end they changed additional $45 for wrapping). I found later that the mover did not fix my bed properly, so I had to do it by myself. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with their service!

Do not hire this company as your movers! I was quoted one price upon hiring them and charged another price on moving day. There was a substantial increase. I would have understood if they’d gone over their allotted time, but they finished with 30 minutes to spare. They weren’t careful with any of my possessions and I ended up with several broken items. In addition, they dented the walls in my apartment multiple times, thus ensuring that I will never get my security deposit back. After creating all of this damage, they had the nerve to overcharge me and then demand a tip. They also left trash at my doorstep when leaving. After they left, I called their corporate office and I was told there was nothing they could do. Hiring this company was a huge mistake. Do yourself a favor and pay more for someone else. It will save you a ton of aggravation. These people do not know good business practices and do not put their customers first. Disgraceful, unprofessional and unethical.

We had the absolute worst experience with this company and their incompetent owner Art! He obviously has zero morals and should not be running a company here in AZ! I really wish I would have read reviews on them before we hired them because at least then I would have known they were nothing but a con company trying to swindle Monday out of actual hard working people! DO NOT hire this company to move your personal belongings, unless you want to be double charged for THEIR mistakes and then get threatened with keeping your stuff if you don’t pay! I keep reading all these bad reviews and most of them are the same experience I had! I will keep posting this on every review platform I can find, so that others don’t get scammed by these people!

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality

I had a great experience with this company. I was quoted for 8 hours to move a 4 bedroom house. They moved it in 6.5 hours. They came disassembled my furniture, wrapped it in moving blankets and loaded it into their truck. I was afraid of the items tipping over. I took a quick sneak peak into the trucks back and saw everything so neatly packed, strappred it looked like a Tetris game! amazing. OVERALL the mover saved me money by beating the quote and transporting my items safely. I do recommend them and will use again.

PS: Ask for Eddie and see if they have any moving specials. Eddie told me depending on the day the rate can change lower.

I was speaking with this company for two days. I repeatedly informed them that the piece that I was looking to move was 1000lbs. The response that I continously received was that it wouldn't be a problem. The day of the move, I informed them again about the weight and they assured me that it would not be an issue. I was given a time of 12pm-3pm with a 30 minute courtesy call when they were on their way to the pick up location. I never received a courtesy call but instead got a call from the company telling me that the piece was too heavy to move with 3 guys and that they needed a total of 5 guys at my expense. Are you kidding me!? Candice, the woman I spoke with, then proceeds to tell me that it is also raining outside, which it had been for 2 days and didn't start suddenly when the movers got to the location. I told her that the rain wasn't sudden and she tells me that she hasn't checked the weather chanel and that maybe it's "more wet".....it's raining! That's what happens when it rains! I asked to speak to a manager. He was very rude. As I was explaining the situation, he says, "I'm going to cut you off because this is just the situation." He also informed me that it would cost me an additional $150 for 2 more men and that it would have to be done the next day. This caused a huge inconvenience for me since I took time off of work to receive the item and the person that the item was being picked up from put her home renovation on hold for a day so that the piece could be moved. The company also told me that there were 3 steps that they didn't know about. In the 2 days that I was speaking to them, no one asked me about steps at the pick up location or at my home. As a matter of fact, no details about either location was asked. I have moved across the country as well as in state and have never experienced such an unprofessional moving company. To top it off, the manager informs me that my deposit will take 10-12 business days to get refunded! I just paid them a couple of hours before they got to the location! Why would it take that long!? If I could leave a negative star review then I would. Extremely pathetic customer service.

They send out 1 guy who didn’t know what he was doing and my job required 2 someone else with less experience came to help. Multiple time he almost tipped refrigerator and was using a furniture dolly until my husband stepped in and told him how to move it.

I had to tell him how to use a dolly!!

Once the move was made I shorted him $20 for horrible service and he said he knows where I live and can come back.

I’m shocked nothing was broken or someone hurt in the move ( I only had 5 items moved) but to threaten that he’d come back after me, is over the top

SHAME ON A & E MOVING AND STORAGE! RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! This company is managed by people that do not keep their word nor take responsibility to assist the customer when there is conflict or damage to customer property.

My son's very expensive sports car was parked on the curb when the A&C truck pulled in front it to load furniture. Subsequently, backing up they hit the sports car which sits very low to the ground. That evening it was discovered. The next day I contacted A&C and went to their location and measured the back gate system on the truck and it turned out that the lift gate marks on the hood matched the back of the moving truck EXACTLY as they were found on the front of the sports car. I dealt with Art who was the facility manager. He agreed to share the company insurance information with me but never did.

After over 50 phone calls since August 28th there is still no returned phone call, text or email with the company insurance information! And now my calls are monitored and my number is simply ignored by their receptionists. All I had asked was to receive the insurance information so that my insurance company could file a claim. Now it has come to this "well deserved" negative review and soon, legal action against the company.

We have Ring door bell footage of the entire time the sports car was parked behind the moving truck and up until the damage was discovered on the sports car, that was the only truck parked in front of the sports car the entire time.

Again, the apparatus and rigging on the back of the truck match up EXACTY with the damage on the sports car!

AGAIN, SHAME ON YOU A & C MOVING AND STORAGE!
