Sei Transport

Had an agreement to pick up my three cars for the agreed price on a specific date. He wanted a cashiers check which I made out to SEI Transport as requested.

The driver stopped contacting me and would not text or call back shortly before the pick up date. SEI never showed or contacted us back. We were stuck with a large cashiers check that I had to leave with a friend in Idaho after we left for Texas. Bank wanted me to sign and return to put funds back into my account. Now what? Terrible company done do business with them.

We signed a contract with a different company to move our car from Southern California to Northern Idaho. From the day we signed the agreement online we got the run around and would not get a call back about pick up AFTER we had paid $1,400 and our daughter was waiting for the car in Idaho!! Turns out, they were NOT going to move our car because finally after 14 days we got a call and were given the contact info for another company that was actually going to be moving our car. Let me tell you, I was livid. I told them I wanted a refund and was rudely told there was a no refund policy in our agreement. I called the supposed delivery company, which happened to be SEI, fuming about the run around and everything sounding more and more like a scam. The lady who answered from SEI was Tanya and she got an earful but she actually listened to my frustration and then explained how the process works and how basically the company we had signed with only finds drivers, smaller companies, to do the actual transport at a chunk of the price. I was fuming at the first company which I still think is a scam. Tanya with SEI was so friendly but calm and professional. She kept me informed and helped tone down my anxiety caused by the first company who lied to us. The car arrived safely and we were very pleased with Alex, the driver. Basically, if you've never moved your car, find out if the company you sign with will actually be transporting your car. When we bring the car back home, we will just go directly to SEI Transport and not pay a random company a "finder's fee". It sounds like SEI is a family business and we were so happy with them!

If I could give less then one star I would. First when he was supposed to pick up the truck, called when he was supposed to be there, said he was running 2hrs behind, arranged for another time, came an hr late. Assured us he would send a pic of our truck on the trailer, never did, assured us we could contact him throught the drive. When tried texting/calling for 3 days..no answer. Got ahold of the company in Fla..they tried, finally was able to get a hold of his wife, said his phone was broken. FINALLY was able to reach him Mon. night (now day 10) said he would be in GA for sure Weds..didnt show, tried to contact him, no response. FINALLY delivered the truck on day 12 (was told it would be there in 7-10 days). I was already skeptical of sending a truck across country and paying at pick up not delivery, so this debacle just made me more and more anxious each passing day and hr..DEFINITELY would not refer this driver/company to ANYONE.
Just happpy that finally my son was able to get his truck.
