Universal Relocations i an amazing company who came forward to help families and organisation during this covid situation in India. Sai the owner is an amazing man with a great heart to help. I have shipped about 100 O2 Concentrators to India through them and they are the best in what they do. I have no complaints and they have done an amazing job with transparent model where you get the update on time and the delivery is on time.

They have an amazing team who works along side of sai to have a very good communication. Huzaina from Universal Relocations has helped us with proper communication and very responsive with any question we ask and with any feedback we give.

The Huzaina represents among the highest levels of customer service I have experienced. Information was accurate, responses to queries were turned around very fast. Answers were clear and where necessary detailed enough for us to make informed decisions quickly, minimising the end to end time to process complex transactions among a number of parties.

Overall they are fantastic! Great cutomer support from beginning to end of the process. The team are really informed and go the extra mile at every stage. I would recommend them unreservedly.

I am proud to say that Universal Relocations did a terrific job in shipping the O2 concentrator to India. Right from the time it was shipped from NJ to India, I received periodic updates from their team and did not face any problems. The Concentrator reached India on time and without any hassles. Additionally, all of the paperwork was handled by their team with ease and there was no issue at all. Universal Relocations provided the best service. I sent an oxygen concentrator from USA to India (Delhi). They charges very minimal amount. They used to keep providing regular updates with the shipment status. In India (Delhi) also, Pickup was very easy. I didn't provide any much addition documents, they took care of Custom part too. I will highly recommend Universal Relocation. Thanks for Universal Team (Khushali- Helped me to place the order, Huzaina- Helped in providing regular status update, Shaymala- Helped in clearing Custom / India GST Team, Ravi- helped in picking the stuff from Delhi Warehouse).

Had a great experience with my move during the Covid times. In USA, packers were very professional,

they packed the 4 bedroom house in a day.

The shipment took less than 45 days to reach Mumbai port. Because of the covid Mohammed and Raja helped navigate remote custom clearance and was little difficult because of Covid.

Couple of things i would see them

Improving upon is:

1. The size estimates was wrong, not all things fit in my 20x20, few items needed to be shipped in shared container.

2. The packing on some items was not done properly, few broken pots anf glasses. Some wooden furniture were scratched.

This was the second box I shipped with Universal Relocations from Rochester, NY, USA to Bhadrak, India and the entire process was seamless as the last time I shipped. The box was picked up from home in Rochester, NY, smoothly and was delivered to my home in Bhadrak, India without a hitch. Everyone, at the USA end, as well as in the Indian office were very helpful. Particularly, Sandhya Somalingam, in Chennai was super friendly and helpful. The package arrived at home without any damage and in good time. Great service! Plan to ship two more boxes with Universal Relocations soon.

After going through a lot of reviews, decided on UR since most of the reviews were positive. Had to go with an open mindset that shipping boxes might result in lost shipment or damaged boxes in some cases. So decided not to ship any electronics since we have to pay Customs and surrender passport if I am not wrong. So ended up sending all household items, kitchen items toys, home decorations etc except furniture and electronics since I didn't have many and was not willing to buy and transport new ones.

Called UR and connected with one person Kris. Very professional and genuine customer service since he told what all are the things up-front and these will be cases if you transport these types of items. Gave a quote for 15 boxes door to door and came to less than 100$ for a box.

Started on packing and each doubt we had, Kris always suggested and guided patiently on what ways to take. Packed all 15 boxes with extra protection of tapes so as not to have any water damage just in case and packed each box carefully with lot of protection.

Was given 2 options in terms of pick up that if you want to have it in at a specific date and thier pick is not available in the region that day, they have to arrange FedEx and weight cannot be greater than 49.5 lb since extra weight has a huge charge from FedEx. Otherwise if flexible on dates, they can arrange thier own transport in which changes in weight is ok since it's not third part and they can adjust. This was were many of reviews made sense to me since if picked up by FedEx you need to ensure the weight is less than 50 and you need a good large scale to ensure that otherwise the FedEx charge comes back to you.

On pick up day, a big van came in and carefully picked up all boxes.

Few days later, I received the status that it's up for container loading and need 49$ palet charges. Agreed and paid it. Also recieved the tracking details.

Every week we received status on the approx date it will arrive in India. Was given approx 3 months timeline and the shipment arrived in India within 3-4 months and was expected since it was Covid time.

Once reached they gave another bill of 15k RS for Port charges which was mentioned in the bill and discussed initially that each box will have 1k Rs Port charge. Agreed and paid it.

A week later got a call saying they will be delivering in 2 days and will pass on the live tracking and driver details and number.

This was very helpful since it gives the location of the truck in a Google map setup which gave us an idea where it is and whether they are taking the route we discussed during the last step of journey when they were guided to your house. The delivery person also was very very professional taking multiple calls and answering all our questions. Finally boxes arrived and was delivered inside and to my surprise each and every box was in the same rectangular shape with no damages, just like how I sent it which really amazed me.

Many reviews said that items were destroyed, package missing etc but I did not have such an experience and all boxes reached safely as how I gave to them.

We recently moved our furniture, clothing, kitchen ware and other household items from US to Chennai. We booked a 20' container. This relocation brought all our 2 decades long cherished items safely to our new abode in India. The entire journey lasted almost 3 months from door-to-door. Universal Relocations did a very thorough job at every step of the way thereby ensuring all our items are safely delivered at our destination address. I trusted all their personnel, and they too did the same. That really helped accomplish the move successfully. Their associates both in the US and India were very sincere, knowledgeable of the various processes, and willing to do the extra bit of hard work to keep everything transparent and clear to us.
