Used their services in 2018 when I moved from Atlanta to Mumbai. Without a doubt, the worst people I have ever dealt with. The amount of stress and uncertainty that I had to deal with was unimaginable. things that you can expect from them:

1.No clarity on charges upfront. The final bill they will give will be higher by 25-50% from the estimate. Amazingly, the estimate is given after their verification of goods, so how can they claim that the volume is higher than their estimate. Do they expect that the customer would know the volume at the start? if that's the expectation, why would we ask them to come and verify the amount of stuff we had and provide a quotation accordingly? However, you can't fight or do anything with them once they have taken the goods as you are at their mercy (the volume is confirmed by them a couple of days after they have taken your goods). They will directly blackmail you that goods will not be given to you if you don't pay the full money upfront.

2.Be aware of dealing with these three people specifically: Sai Dattani, Geetha Rajaram/Singh, and Pallavi. I dealt with them and got the experience of a lifetime (rhetoric). They knew that I have a 1.5-year-old and a pregnant wife and used this to psychologically create pressure at every step. They will promise the world to you, but true colors will come out once they have packed an taken your goods to their warehouse (as you will be helpless after that)

3.The India team who handles the clearance of goods also loves sending the bills. I included all costs that I was required to pay (barring a few very small ones) in my initial quote from the US team, but the India team kept sending me bills for payment for things that were already included in the bill that I had already paid to the US entity. I had to send multiple emails and call multiple people so many times to get the same waived. The US entity will not help you in this. You are on your own

4. Delivery was late by a month even compared to their max estimate provided to me.

5.Most of my furniture was damaged. They do not provide any support in insurance claim and you are on your own. Infact they dont want you to claim insurance as their higher claim will increase their future insurance premium. At the start of the packing, you need to

6.They generally put very little stuff in boxes quoting that the boxes cannot hold more. This is very untrue and done so that you end up using more boxes and pay more in terms of space(in shipping, the charge is not based on weight but space occupied). So even if u hire them, make sure that you don't allow their packaging professionals to get your billings increased by using this loophole. My first advice would be to not hire them

7.The people who come to deliver and unpack your goods are so petty that they will force you to give them back all boxes and packaging material. They kept on saying that I am supposed to return it and this is a general norm. I told them that the bill specifically charges me packaging charges, so why should I return this, but in the interest of getting everything properly unpacked and set up, I had to give up. Afterward, I came to know that the people who come sell those boxes to local Bhangarwala and put the money into their own pockets.

There are a lot many other things which I am avoiding to mention here (cant keep writing).

I have moved from Boston to india. I have used Universal relocation to move my things The whole move experience is great starting from getting quote to things delivery was handled by good professionals. They kept me informed the whole process from shipping to delivery. Their tracking system really helped me to plan and this was really great ...based on experience with other shipping companies ,I didn't has any hope that my box will even arrive intact ,but not only they arrived but without hassle and damage

Overall a very well managed team of professionals with good service orientation. To start with, the team arrived on time to pick up our boxes which were then neatly labeled and packed… time lines were mentioned and all charges explained. Had been receiving timely updates until shipment arrived and customs cleared. Finally the shipment arrived with all things intact. Would like to specifically Thank Chennai team @ Hussaina for her customer centric efforts in helping provide updates especially during the lockdown period, which was the only reason for delay in delivery.

I shipped 2 packages from Colorado, USA to Kolkata, India by Universal Relocations in the mid of pandemic. I was really impressed! They are trust worthy, affordable and having an excellent, responsive customer care service. They picked up packages from home via FedEx. After 4 months I received both the packages intact, not even damaging the packaging box. However, they took a bit more time than promised. I think, it is the pandemic that caused this delay. I contacted with customer care and received prompt and convincing response. I Highly recommend them for shipping from USA to India.

It was a very smooth experience with Uni Relo for our move from US to India.

An international move after two decades is always chaotic but Uni Relo team took care of the physical move very well. Constant communication , providing assurances with transparency and good tracking information were plus points of this service. Highly recommend Universal Relocation and will definitely consider them first for future relocation needs.

One suggestion would be to have a secure forum where Uni Relo customers can discuss with other customers on what items to move and suggestions related to change in lifestyle that may be expected.

Unreliable, callous, irresponsible with a no care attitude. Provide good service till they don't get your money and then disappear. I was totally conned. we were treated like a ping pong ball, unable to get a number to file in our grievance. One of their agents even screamed and said " what can we do. You'll get insurance for a reason. Go to the insurance company". They provided wrong information to insurance and in spite of their callous packing, we were unable to receive any reimbursement for our broken furniture, expensive glass ware. The packers in India were totally senseless and weirdly packed plastic containers in double bubble wrap and the glass items were just thrown in the cartons. I strongly recommend that their service not be used from India to USA for sure and do not be fooled by their sweet talk to get your business and money.

Reliable Moving & Relocation Services from USA to India. Overall I had a great experience right from the packing in USA to delivery in India. Our entire container was very well protected, packaged and organized in the container. All of our stuff arrived in their original state. Although the container took a little longer than expected, it was totally reasonable considering the pandemic situation. Most importantly we were kept up to date and informed. I'd definitely recommend their services and use their services again if required.
