I moved from relocated for a new job. I was nervous, as anyone that knows me, knows that I HATE to move. It's miserable, back-breaking, and exhausting at best. I searched online for a moving company that could get us moved efficiently, safely, hassle-free, and and intact. I'm pleased to say that United Moving Company fit the bill and then some. I was concerned about using someone I was unfamiliar with, but read good reviews and felt comfortable with their guarantee. It was a GREAT decision..we got moved with everything intact and in one piece. The staff were friendly, trust-worthy, and handled our stuff as if it was their own. I can't say enough good things. So glad we are done moving, and especially glad we used United Moving Company to help!!  .

I’m from the midwest and had moved from various apartments in Chicago for the last ten years. I moved myself, renting a truck for a day and then doing all the labor with my husband. I was hired for a job in NYC and smartly decided I would hire movers for this longer haul. My coworkers shared various horror stories about their movers and I was thoroughly freaked out. Luckily, someone recommended United Moving Services. The sales rep. was super helpful and very patient with me. As a self-mover, I was completely unaware of the services the mover provided. AMAZING! He gave me invaluable advice for the move. I also got a really good rate for the move. I boxed most of my belongings, but the movers took care of wrapping my furniture and organizing the truck (way better than I ever did) so that I felt comfortable with their safety. In the foreign land of Queens, I unboxed the first box marked, “fragile.” To my surprise, everything was intact. Not a single thing was broken or dinged. I highly recommend United Moving Services for any first-timer or anyone at all. I wish I had known about them sooner!

I am seriously so happy I found this company because they made my move so much easier than I expected! I moved from Florida to California and had so many things to move! I was stressing because moving is already a lot of money and I needed to find a moving company that was affordable and great in customer service/doing the job right. When I discovered United Moving Services, I called and right from the customer services I could tell that I had made a great choice. They were nice, professional and were prompt in answering all my questions. When the big day came, they came in and started working hard right away. I had already packed some of my things but they still made sure it was ok to load up. They took care of all my furniture and were efficient in time! I could tell they care about their customers and were not just there to load up furniture and go to another state. When they finally loaded up everything to the truck I felt confident that I had made a right choice. They arrived to Los Angeles and all of my things were in the same exact condition that I had left it in. I am so happy that I found United Moving Services and hopefully I won’t be moving again, but if I do I will definitely be using them!!

My son had his stuff moved and he has discovered that his pricy guitar was missing. I have tried to contact this company, but are able to leave only a message. Make sure when you book them..all the costs are up front to you. When they got to deliver the stuff (2 days late..pick up was also 1 day late), they tried to sock him with extra costs and kinda held his stuff "hostage" till they could work out a deal. The driver also told him that he had to quickly decide as he would be on the clock jacking the price up more if he did not make a quick decision. Not reliable. Would not recommend. the phone folks are very courteous when they are selling you the service..try to get ahold of them after the deal is done. Impossible to get a straight answer.

I believe they were a moving broker as two different trucks came at pick up and delivery. Not reliable, not dependable.

I moved my son down to TX and had to get most of his furniture to him. I found united moving services and they handled everything for me. It was the easiest move I have ever been a part of. He had a decently large amount of furniture sitting in our garage and the movers came and and got all of the boxes, furniture and odd pieces in no time. They protected everything well as they loaded up, and were gone inside of 2 and 1/2 hours! It's already reached him in Austin and nothing was damaged. They also didn't charge us a penny more than the original quote we were offered. Thank u guys! Really appreciate the stress relief! I would definitely recommend to any friend.

I strongly question the ethics of the company and would not recommend any of student friends or recent graduates to move your items with this company.In June, I booked an order to move my 1 BR items from Cambridge to San Francisco, CA. I was promised during the time of booking that my items will be moved to warehouse in CA for less than 7 days quick delivery since I didn't have my final address yet in SF. After a month, I confirmed my SF address to company and found out the my items are yet in MA warehouse and it will take 7-21 business days to deliver items. I was very disappointed to hear this. I wrote number of emails and made number of calls before the customer service department wrote an email to me. They failed to escalate my complain to their supervisor as well. Additionally, The dispatch department told me last week that they will have an update on delivery my items by this Tuesday. When I called them today, they failed to give an update on my delivery date. This came as consistent false promise to me and makes me totally disappointed with the service. I wouldn't recommend this company for student groups or any person moving in general.

PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY !! I did not have a pleasant experience. They Lied to me.. I spoke w/ Ralph who seemed pleasant enough - I trusted this man and paid the price for it !! When My items were to be picked up they called me just before hand and demanded more money because they said that "Ralph" had no AUTHORITY to quote me any price over the phone !! after he repeatedly put me on HOLD to check to make sure the price QUOTED was okay.. they chaged me $200 dollars MORE money or I could go find someone else when I was already READY to move !! then when they picked my stuff up, come to find out - United Moving Services contracted out my items to be picked up by another Co. so the pick up date was pushed out twice ! then when I called to inquire about receiving my stuff on the 25th of August !! I was told that my stuff was brought to a storage facility in Georgia !! I was so upset I could hardly speak.. I did not receive my items till September 10th !! the Bins that I had most of my stuff packed in were broken, flattened, split. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF HEARTACHE/HEADACHES AND GO WITH A REPUTABLE COMPANY ! THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT IT.. IF I COULD GIVE THEM LESS THAN ONE STAR I WOULD.

I needed to make a quick move on a tight budget and United Moving Services came through for me. Mine was a straightforward move from an apartment in Colorado to a similar apartment in Florida - nothing too complicated.
United Moving was at my Colorado apartment to load me when they said they would be and a week later they delivered to my Florida apartment when they said they would. The price was fair, everything was intact upon arrival, and the movers were polite and efficient. I couldn't have asked for more.
