Liked a lot.

The entire dang service was absolutely just quick and they killed it. I lied it a lot. They made sure all of our stuff was handled with care and gentle hands. I am so happy that we went this route instead of trying to do it ourselves. Thank you all so much for making this go so smooth.

Crated perfectly.

I had 5 items crated and moved hundreds of miles and not only was everything done perfectly but none of the items were damaged. I highly recommend using them for you and your family if moving. Thank you so much Trans World.

Amazing work.

Trans World Van Lines LLC did an amazing job helping my family move ! They moved quickly yet efficiently and made sure everything was done to my liking. They took their time and were very careful with my property. Something you don't always find in movers. I would use and recommend them over and over again !

Do Not Use These Movers.

They charged us 3 TIMES more than the "locked in" estimate. THey took 12 HOURS to load their truck and charged us $800 in shipping materials. They are UNRESPONSIVE and their phone number often has an out of service message. THIS COMPANY IS CRIMINAL!

Half moving company-half ongoing scam outfit.

Transworld / A&S Movers took my money, but they never sent any movers to move me, made themselves completely unavailable to phone or email contact attempts, and then refused to return the $1,000+ deposit they had taken from me. That is why I given this review the title I do.

The staff I dealt with there when booking and trying to effect my move were Kyle, Matthew, and Walter.

Please note that as you look at other reviews, all of the positive ones lack an associated "TWxxxxx" order number, casting serious doubt on the legitimacy of these seeming astroturf reviews. The negative reviews all have order numbers.

I cannot recall a worse experience with a service provider than my experience with Transworld / A&S Movers. Use this company if you want terrible service and to be fleeced by con artists of your money.

Transworld / A&S movers took my initial deposit. They then pulled a fraudulent bait and switch, saying that they were "switching to a new banking system" and were crediting back to my credit card my initial deposit and asking me instead to make an ETF check payment to them from my checking account (which of course does not have the same fraud protections my credit card does). My credit card was never credited the funds they said they were returning AND they took me for the additional deposit I made from my checking account. I have fraud claims against them through my credit card.

In case that is not bad enough, Transworld/ A&S did not show up on the day of the move. One hour, two hours passed by; I must have phoned them 10 times that day. Finally I was able to reach someone there using another phone number than the one they put on their website. After being kept on hold for 35 minutes, I was informed that the driver was in another state and would not be picking up our things. I was told he would be there between 12 and 3 pm the next day. The next day came, I heard nothing from Transworld, despite having been promised a contact not later than 10AM. I called them over a dozen times and no one every responded or returned my call or email.

They never showed up. They never made arrangements to move me. I was left complete in the lurch by Transworld and I was forced to find another solution to my moving needs.

Eventually when I finally managed to reach Walter a week later he had the gall to say that the driver had attempted to contact me and on that basis refused to return my deposit, which I am now suing them to have returned. He and Transworld are sadly nothing more than licenced crooks.

The company was all honey and sweetness when they are trying to get your move deposit and then becomes unavailable thereafter.

New York Move.

I've had to do a good deal of moving recently, often large moves from state to state for work but this by far was one of my best experiences with a moving company. They handled my move to New York with speed, efficiency, and care. And they made sure to answer any and all questions I had. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.
