Nobody ever really wants to move because of all the work that is involved, so when you have a team of people that work towards the same goal things get done in the right way and they get done fast. Trans World Van Lines was the least expensive the best reputation and the only company that Didn’t try to shake us down for money before really getting to know what we needed. We had to move again we would absolutely call them without even considering another company that’s how well the move went. Hopefully this helps somebody in need.

Happy to say that Transworld van lines is there a professional praiseworthy and the honest company. We got quoted by several other moving companies but we felt like they were the best. We like the movie estimates they emailed to us they were very easy to read and they had a system that made it easy for us to make any changes we needed leading up to the actual move. Great employees in house and in the field and quality service. They are very straight forward and organized. This was a relocation a long time In the making and thanks to them it was a success.

I was originally worried about getting quotes from professional moving companies because I was only moving some furniture for my college apartment. He list to say I didn’t have too much stuff and I didn’t have a whole lot of money to spend. Transworld van lines made this move affordable for me and they made it so I didn’t have to do it myself. No smoke and mirrors, no extra charges it was what I was hoping to find when I started looking and I’m glad it worked. Most of the other companies were just too much money but again they gave me discounts and the move was easy and Fast and smooth. Great company for any size move.

We are so impressed with all the work from trans world van lines. We expected good things after all we read but never to this magnitude. We watch the movers pack boxes and you would think they would rush through it all to try to get onto the next job as fast as they could but they precisely packed each box put bubble wrapping inside of it taped it up labeled and numbered it. They put a lot of effort into the small things and that’s really what makes a company great. The pricing was well in line with what we were looking to spend and we got our furniture in a very timely fashion. They are exactly what we were looking for and we would be happy to use them again.

THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I felt taken advantage of and abused by this company.

I called and received a quote of $5000 on July 29th. Prior to signing I noticed that the quote said 30 boxes, which based on the other quotes I had received did not seem like enough for a 3 bedroom house. They assured me that the number of boxes did not matter because the amount of space was based on if they did not disassemble any of my furniture. So I signed as they are the professionals not me. They arrived on moving day, August 15th, and took at look at my things and instantly said you have more than 30 boxes. I agreed and said your rep said it would not matter. So the mover called someone and I called Transworld as well and Benjamin (in customer service I assume) told me that I would need to pay the extra fees today but he would send me a dispute form that I could file and they would listen to the audio tapes from my original booking call and I would be able to get my money back upon delivery of my items. So I had to pay an additional $1145 during pick up. After I got off the phone and did not receive the form by the time they were done loading up, I called again and spoke to Benjamin and he said I’ll send it to you again. I called several more times over the next few weeks and did not receive the dispute form until September 12th.

I was told my items would be in 3-10 days from August 17th, so between August 20th and August 27th, and that they would call me the day before to let me know when they would be arriving. I finally received a call from Jeremy, a transworld representative, on September 13th. Jeremy also tried to tell me that I would need to pay a re-delivery fee, since they tried to deliver previously and I wasn’t there, after explaining the situation he was able to get it waived. Obviously, since I had only received the dispute form the day before, I had not submitted it and therefore would not be able to get my refund when the driver arrived, as stated by Benjamin.

I received a call from Mike, the driver, the day prior to delivery asking if there were any stairs and if so, I would need to pay an additional fee for the stairs. I told him that the original person who made the quote, the first mover, as well as Jeremy, the person who called me on the 13th to say when my items would be delivered that stairs inside the residence did not matter. When the driver, Mike, arrived on September 14th, he walked around the house and said he would not put any items downstairs because it was too dangerous to take it down the outside stairs into my backyard, and the staircase inside was too narrow. Mind you, 2 girls took a California King size mattress and bed frame down those “dangerous” outside stairs, there are 5 spaced out steps. Mike also would not open the truck and show me my items until I paid him in full. Once I paid him they, Mike and 2 guys it looked like they hired off Craigslist, started piling my items in the living room and garage. Once they unloaded everything I asked if they were going to reassemble the items they disassembled, such as my bed, dining room table, and coffee table. The driver acted like he was going out to the truck to get tools and started the truck AND DROVE AWAY, leaving me alone with all of my items disassembled with no way to put them back together. While they were unloading things I noticed the majority of the boxes were damaged and smashed in, and several items appeared to be broken. I called my parents and explained the situation and my dad got on a flight from California immediately to help me. Once he arrived, we started to go through the boxes and items to find that pretty much everything was broken. We also had to hire other movers to come the following day to bring boxes inside and downstairs, to carry the couch downstairs, and help us put together items.

Transworld van lines moved our four bedroom house and arrange for three of our vehicles to be picked up on the same day. It was a huge jobs we wanted to make sure we had the right company that could handle the work. We also had an office that had to be moved so we needed a large portion of a full-size truck. They are a very progressive company we were able to FaceTime them and show them pieces so they knew the exact dimensions and told us every piece that we had to personally take care of such as wrapping TVs and packing boxes as we chose to do. They came out with four guys and got the truck loaded in about seven hours. Once the furniture is all picked up we constantly get status updates from customer service and dispatch and we were always in the loop. The furniture arrived just as it left and we stressed at a minimum level. Just another reason why they’re one of the best companies out there.

Transworld Van lines is the actual mover and is absolutely the best of what they do. Everybody in the office is so involved in each and every move. They have a fail proof system of check points to make sure that there is no room for up charge on final delivery. They were the only company that verified their identity before even getting started. We read so many good things about their company and we were Just to get to work we just wanted to make sure we made the right choice. They deliver it on all levels and were so kind during the process that we would absolutely use them again.

Thank you Trans World Van lines this move could not have gone any better. You were also helpful in making sure we understood the estimate and what to expect during the move. You knew that we never moved before And we probably would’ve believed everything but you were honest to the core and that’s why we felt comfortable moving forward with you. The moving team was excellent they wrapped all the furniture nothing got scratched or damaged at all. They helped out with extra boxes free of charge and even mattress covers. The move went a lot faster than I anticipated and a lot of that is due to the preparation your team put in so thank you again and best of luck going forward.

Transworld Van lines has a reputation of doing excellent high-quality work. We saw firsthand why they have the reputation that they do. They are very organized they take their time in securing the furniture and packing boxes and they never pressure the customer into making a move unless they are ready. Their paperwork was easy to understand and follow and the company was actually recommended to us by a friend of ours she said they’re moving great as well. I know there are some sites out there that are questionable but everything that we saw matched up with everything we read online. Next time we have to move if they ever pops up they will be the only company we will call because of the work that they do.

Great job Trans World Van Lines. This was a last minute move and we needed a good reliable mover that would show up on time and get us to our new home fast as possible. We spoke to 7 different companies and Trans World was the only company willing to take the job. Once we looked into those company we were blown away. We were so impressed with all the great things we read and how long they’ve been in business. There’s a reason a company like this gets the amount of work they do. They cater to the customer and try to do anything they can do save money and protect the customers possessions. They dropped off some of our furniture to a nearby home in the new area free of charge. They were above and beyond all we expected.
