Top Removals

I booked three men to help me move out of my flat. I needed half my belongings moving into another flat in London, whilst the other half needed taking to York. I (stupidly) hired another company to take my things to York. On the day the men who were helping me to York were late and unhelpful, however the guys from Top Removals saved the day. They quickly and carefully got everything out of my flat and efficiently unpacked at my new flat. I was incredibly stressed but they were so calm and reassuring, they made the day bearable. Without them I would have been completely lost. I really can't recommend them enough. I will be making sure all my friends and family use them.

We recently used Top Removals to move a studio apartment from Brussels to London and most of the large items were damaged beyond repair - the wooden headboard was destroyed with huge holes in it, the italian designer dining room table was badly chipped, the sofa was clearly not protected as it was returned filthy and damaged, one of the doors to our wardrobe was chipped and several smaller items like a drinks cabinet and coffee table were just handled carelessly (scratched). From a company that holds itself out as being professional removers - this is just UNACCEPTABLE. Most of the items cannot be repaired (you cannot fix chipped wood) and the couch has to be completely reupholstered. Further, we have emailed Top Removals several times asking them how they intend to deal with this poor service and grossly negligent behaviour, and they have been extremely slow to respond regarding the next steps. It is clear our goods were transported without the proper care that we paid for. We are having to get prices to replace/fix all of the above which is extremely difficult and inconvenient for working professionals and Top Removals have been extremely unhelpful (they have not even told us what we need to provide, we are just doing it all ourselves). A removal company that cannot even move a bed, couch and table without damaging them - THEY SHOULD BE EMBARRESSED TO CALL THEMSELVES A MOVING COMPANY!! If you are thinking about using this company - just don't.

I had chosen Top removals out of a shortlist of 7 vendors and they have not disappointed. Very professional, very reasonable costs. The folks who came to pick up and the ones who delivered were real pros and really took great care while loading and unloading- not to even touch building walls. They also stored my items for 2 weeks and I got back my stuff in exact condition as I had given them. Even they packed my TV amazingly well.
The support team - Vicky was very responsive and accommodating.
I would strongly recommend their services and agility.

They helped us move from Sweden to Sheffield and they were very professional and polite. When they collected the items they were marking and checking everything and also when they delivered they were checking so that everything was delivered. Nothing was broken even though we packed the glass ourselves.
The only downside was that they took a long time to deliver since they had wait to fill a truck which meant that the goods were stored for over a week before driving to the UK. It also meant that some things were smelling bad due to storage in a damp place. A soft trumpet case is still smelling from mould.
All in all I can recommend them, the price offered were the lowest, but quality very good.
