Sky Van Lines

I was dreading moving but Sky Van Lines did a great job making it as easy as possible. I had a pretty big move so they sent out their estimator to my house. He put all my stuff into his system and gave me a quote that he said was binding. He also told me about extra charges that they would have to charge me for a china cabinet and some paintings that I had in glass frames. So, they were very upfront with the price and the movers really handled by belongings nicely, and overall I'm really satisfied with their service.  .

Michelle and Chris Knight Bauxite, AR April 16, 2013   Sky Van Lines Matthew Brody 2410 Luna Road Suite #280 Carrollton, TX 75006 Dear Matthew: We want to let you know that our move from Rockwall, TX to Bauxite, AR went well.  The crew showed up on time and really did a great job wrapping up everything.  They did not take but one break to eat lunch, which surprised me very much.  My experience in the past with other moving companies was that I would have to follow and check up on the crew to make sure they were working; this was not the case with Sky Van Line crew.  They were professional and extremely understanding.  They went over and above to make sure everything got loaded and wrapped properly.  The rain gave us trouble and I thought that we might not be able to get finished but they were very smart with their timing.  The Crew Leader, Michael, had the weather channel app on his phone and was watching the radar.  As soon as he saw a break in the rain he would have all the crew stop what they were doing and load boxes and furniture that they had placed by the door onto the truck and before it started to rain again he would tell them to finish and come back inside.  None of our things got wet at all.  They definitely work well together.  They took great care to let me know about any marks or nicks on furniture prior to them wrapping it up; I already knew about the marks I and my 14 year old son had made but it let me know that they understand how important it is not to damage anything.  By the way, none of our things were damaged at all. When they arrived in Arkansas at our new home they unloaded and took time to make sure the right boxes were in the right rooms.  They asked before placing furniture and were polite and patient with me.  They also put together all furniture that had been taken apart.  I am still unpacking boxes and the only thing I wish I would have done differently would be to have had your crew pack for me.  I am so very exhausted and still have so much more to do!  I would give this crew: Michael, Angel, Nacho, and David 10 out of 10 stars, they were fantastic.  I am happy to recommend you to my friends and family if they have the need for a moving service. Also, I would like to say that you, Matthew, were a pleasure to deal with and I was pleasantly surprised to receive your follow up calls.  I have never received a follow up “Are you happy?” or “Did all go well?” call from any other moving company I have used in the past.  I am a tuff customer and not the easiest person to deal with.  I expect 100% honesty and I received that from the first phone call from you to the quote and the final bill that was exactly what I was quoted.  No added fees or surprises with that.  We were extremely pleased with the service and the fact that the quote did not change when we received the final bill. I recently used the services from Sky Van Lines for my move from Plano, TX to West Jefferson, NC.  John was the first gentleman to contact me from Sky and helped walk me through the process.  Admittedly, I was very skeptical of using a smaller company.  I talked with both John and Rami throughout the process and they answered every one of my questions and gave me ways to verify these answers.  It took a lot for me to put my trust in them, but Sky Van Lines definitely came through for me.  On the pickup day, the guys were there on time and definitely worked quickly to get everything loaded in the heat.  Mike was extremely thorough in how he directed the men to wrap the furniture and I ended up with ZERO damages.  It was impressive to move as much as I did, to the remote area that I went to, with the quality of service and respect that I received from everyone at Sky Van Lines.  This whole process was so much less stressful than I expected and I would highly recommend Sky Van Lines to anyone looking for a quality mover.

I would like to take a moment and share my positive experience with Sky Van Lines recently. I just completed a move from Las Vegas to D.C within the past week. I must say that I am a very detailed and technical person and did an immense amount of research before choosing a company. My contact with Maurice was always extremely professional and he was patient enough to allow me time to digest the information and make my decision. At the pickup, my sister (there in my place) said that the men were polite, professional and very efficient. Not having a large move, they did everything in just a couple of hours. Upon my delivery in Los Angeles, the guys again were very professional and very helpful. Even though 1 item was slightly damaged, this has been the smoothest move that I have had in years. The entire experience was positive and professional and I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Sky Van Lines performed our move from Granbury, Tx to Dover, Ar on July 17.  Rami and John were excellent to work with throughout this process.  Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to make many adjustments to the inventory and move dates and they were easy to deal with each time.  On the day of the move, Mike and his guys came in and were inordinately professional and left me with a very confident feeling about the move.  The pricing was accurate, the guys wrapped the furniture carefully (we have some very nice antique items) and they loaded in a very quick manner. The delivery came just a few days later and everything arrived in the same condition that it left in.  With all of the things that happened before our move and as many times as I talked to them on the phone, I never once felt like Sky Van Lines was anything other than a professional and well-organized group and would happily use/recommend them again.

I was contacted by John at Sky Van Lines at the end of June regarding my move to Tampa, Florida in July.  John took the time to assess my situation and provide specific answers to my many questions regarding the move.   I subsequently booked my move with them for July 8. When Mike and his crew arrived, they quickly went to work on my furniture and were very thorough with labeling parts and ensuring that everything would go together as smoothly as it came apart.  They loaded the truck quickly and I received my delivery within 6 days in Tampa. There was never a moment that I felt unsure of my decision to use Sky Van Lines and am thankful to them for the great experience.

I want to thank Sky Van Lines for the wonderful experience with my move from McKinney, TX to Clayton, NC.  From the very beginning, John and Rami were very professional and easy to work with.  Rami came to my home on two separate occasions to ensure the accuracy of the quote and alleviate my reservations about using a moving company.  As a senior citizen, I am aware of companies that will take advantage of this situation for their own benefit.  At no point did I ever feel like anyone at Sky Van Lines was anything other than caring, professional and knowledgeable.  Our delivery came within a few days and the crews on both ends worked hard to make sure that I was satisfied and comfortable.  I would highly recommend them to anyone who truly appreciates a high level of service and quality.

My daughter recently completed a move with Sky Van Lines from Dallas to Knoxville, TN to pursue a masters degree.  After initially talking with John, I decided that Sky Van Lines was the one company that provided me with entirely accurate and reliable information about the move.   As a customer, I always expect communication and honesty about the progress of a situation.  Anytime that I had questions John was there to provide me with answers and walk me through the process.  The crew that came to our home was very courteous and worked extremely hard and quick to get everything loaded.  Having a very tight window to offer for delivery with my daughter’s class schedule, the guys communicated with me and were able to deliver the items within our timeframe.  I greatly appreciate the hard work from everyone at Sky Van Lines and will definitely use them again should the need ever arise.

Great moving company. Come out and gave me a binding estimate, price stayed firm, nice guys, and they delivered my hard to move furniture with ease and no damages i've came across as of yet.

I honestly thought the price will go up as I have so many antiques, statues, and other annoying, honestly, to move objects. But the price didn't budge although the pick up took 2 hours longer than expected due to the special wrapping that was needed on so many items.

On top of that, they delivered everything right to my home exactly where I needed it to be. I barely had some boxes to unpack, connect gas and water and I was done.
