Scammers!
The company will send a larger truck than you ordered, in our case we ordered a 6 tonne and a 16 tonne arrived. They mention that it's all they had available and it won't affect the bill. While packing they start wrapping with additional materials. I even commented on it being strange and I had not experienced it before. At the time they told me it was standard practice to ensure the client’s possessions are not damaged.
The scam then starts towards the end of the unload, workers will empty the truck to around 2/3's of your possessions and then produce an invoice saying that you used more space in the truck than you ordered and they would have to charge you. In our case we were well below the 6 tonne amount as we had recently moved in a 6 tonne truck.
They add additional cost for all the wrapping they used without your consent too and say they deemed it necessary to protect your possessions. This differs from what is said at the start about it being included.
You are then held to ransom for the remaining 1/3 of your possessions in the back of the truck until you pay. If you refuse they will either continue charging at the stated hourly rate until you do or will close the doors and leave with your possessions and charge you a warehousing fee per day and/or sell them.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I have put this review up to warn others. Absolutely disgusting. It was a large house move (5 bedrooms, 3 living areas), and furniture was in storage for 4 months in between houses. Original quote was for 7 containers. I was charged for 8. When I asked why they would not give me an answer. Then they said any containers over 5 was charged at more than the 75.00 rate.. What?? Have you ever bought 5 of something, and had to pay a higher price for the sixth seventh and eighth?? Then they tried to charge me a higher rate for all the containers. They blatantly try to rip you off. Also charged a higher rate moving it back in. I had a quote for the move, and they just made up prices as they went along, they did not reference the quote. First they did not take off the deposit from the price of the move, said they would take it off when I moved it from storage. Then when I moved it out of storage, I had to pay another 100 deposit, and they also refused to take that off the account. Eventually got that back after many phone calls.
I have never left a review on the internet, but they were blatantly ripping people off. Please Please read the bad reviews, you know they are not made up. Anyone can post a good one (including them..)
On a positive, the guys who did the work were friendly and hard working. Please, if you do one thing this year, make it using another removalist besides Shelley..don't take any notice of the lovely girl at reception who gives the quotes, you wont deal with her again once they have your business.. its the horrible people you deal with after that will make you wish you had never used them.. please read through the reviews.. the bad are sooooooo bad.. its all about getting ripped off, I can handle bad service, but not being stolen from.
