      That was a calm move

I was really nervous about hiring movers for a move over a thousand miles. You hear so many horror stories! But Rushmore was the real deal. They use their own trucks and their own staff which was a good sign right away. The movers were super professional, worked fast, and were really careful with everything. They shrink-wrapped all the furniture and padded every corner, which really calmed my nerves. They kept me updated throughout the process and delivery was right on schedule. The price was fair for the distance and the amount of stuff we had. Already told a few friends about them!

      Left Portland in two days

We had so much to move, almost 10 years of living in Portland! Beds, dressers, couch, dining set, around 40 boxes, plus all my husband's garage tools. We got a quote the same day we called, and it was really reasonable so we booked it. A few days before the move they called to make sure the date and time still worked for us, which was a nice touch.

On moving day, the crew showed up right at 8am, walked through the house with us, and got right to it. They wrapped all the furniture in blankets and shrink wrap before anything went out the door. I was really glad to see that. They worked room by room and had the whole house cleared out and loaded in about 5 hours. Two days later they were in Klamath Falls, put everything in the right rooms, and even reassembled the beds and dining table for us. Not a scratch on anything! I’d definitely hire these guys again!

They took great care off my furniture

Had Rushmore Van Lines for a move from FL to Texas. Everything arrived quickly with all 8 pieces of furniture were intact. That was our biggest worry, to be honest. The guys who showed up for the pickup were really careful with everything, but they did take their time a bit. On the delivery end, though, they were super efficient and got it all done quickly. Really good experience, overall.

      Moving fast and friendly

Super thankful for the communication the clarity and the super fast movers that came to load our stuff. Alex and Steve helped us, disassembled our stuff and packed it in moving blankets and lots of Saran Wrap and protection. They were clear and transparent on what was on the truck and the expectations we should have. Thank you!

      Move went fast and professional

The move itself went great. The crew was on time, professional, and really careful with our stuff. No damage, nothing missing, so I can't complain there. My only issue was the communication beforehand. I had to call a couple of times to get updates on my delivery window, but once I did get through they were helpful and had answers for me. I wish they had tightened up on the communication. The movers themselves were awesome, though.

Honestly, I was pretty nervous because we had a 65" TV and a couple monitors that I wasn't sure should even go on the truck. I almost pulled them out and drove them myself but the guys assured me they'd be fine and wrapped everything up tight. Sure enough, it all showed up in perfect shape, everything powered on with no issues.

      Zero Communication

My mother paid to ship some of her things to Alaska. The entire time we had 0 communication from the shipper and 0 idea where the stuff was. They never answered the phone, never called back, and would only speak to the third party company they were hired through. Took 45 days to get here and didn't even get a call before delivery.

      Terrible move

      DO NOT USE THEM!

My TV was taken by them as well as various other small items which were 'missing'. There were lots of hidden fees that they were not up front about. They more or less held my things hostage on their van until I paid said hidden fees.

Customer service was horrible. I called wanting to know where my things were and the person on the other end was incredibly rude and short with me.

Do NOT use this moving company.

      Nightmare Move!!!

I was assigned this mover through iMoving, a moving broker, and boy, am I sorry I went with them. I was told by the broker that I would receive professional packing and unpacking for my move. I didn't receive either! My move was supposed to take place over two days, one to pack and the second to move. However, as my move-out window drew closer, they told me they were going to do everything on one day, which was a shock! I told them I didn't think that would work, but they left me no choice, and because they waited until a few days before the move to confirm the date, I couldn't find another mover! The 4 guys who showed up were polite, but none of them spoke English very well, so communicating or giving instructions to them was a nightmare! It appeared to me that they were not professional, experienced movers because of the way they were loading things on the truck. This led to damaged furniture and a couple of crushed boxes with items inside crushed. And, their idea of packing was to dump items into a box! I had office supplies that were literally just dumped loose into the box! Then, as it got later in the day, they told me that the truck was "almost full" and they wouldn't be…
