I moved from Florida to Colorado and used Presidential. From my moving coordinator to the crew and office staff everyone was lovely to work with. I had some changes to my bill but everything was explained to me along the way. I forgot to mention more than a room of items! But they made sure to take care of me and calm me down when I went into a panic. Everything was delivered exactly when it was suppose to be and I could not be happier. Thank you guys so much for all your work!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6400

I was provided with a quote to move my belongings from SW FL to Colorado Springs, CO, on the day of the move I was charged nearly double the price.
I spoke with Aaron from sales to get my quote for my move. I walked through every single room in my home and provided every item to them that was moving, dimensions and verbal explanations of each item. I was initially quoted just under $6,000. I was scheduled to move on 10/18, the company called me two days before my scheduled move to let me know they could not make this date and had to push it out a day. On 10/18 I had Danny from their QA department call me and go over all the items that we're going on the moving truck again. He told me that a lot of the items were grossly underestimated in the amount of space on the truck they would take up, and he was fixing them. He then told me to grossly overestimate the number of boxes I had so he could give me an overestimate of how much it would cost me to move. By the time he was done, my estimate was over $9000 but Danny assured me that it would realistically be closer to $6500 and not to worry about that estimate. On move day, the crew showed up, and about 3/4 of the way through the move the foreman, Alex tells me the new estimate is approximately $10,800. I have already paid my deposit, the move is 3/4 of the way done and a day late at this point, I had no choice but to allow my items to be packed on the truck. Meanwhile, the Forman Alex was telling me that Presidentials sales team does this all the time, they get all the items in a persons home and grossly underestimate the amount of space it will take up just to get the customer to sign on the dotted line and he has to always redo the estimates on move day. I called Aaron and spoke to him about the massive difference in the quote he gave me and the actual price, he said he would get back to me the following day at 11:00am and he never did, I left him a voicemail and he did not return my call. I then spoke to customer service who informed me that I should have received a bill of leight before the truck left telling me exactly how much space on the truck my belongings took up (I never received this) when I told them I still didn't know how much space my items took up on the truck because the driver would not disclose this information to me. All but 2 of the moving crew left before all my items were even loaded on the truck, my house was absolutely trashed after they left with tape rolls and packaging debris thrown on the floor everywhere. I explained the entire situation to the customer service representative, however when I asked what could be done she continued to tell me she would provide me with an explanation for the difference in charges vs the quoted price. I explained that I understood what she was saying, however she was not answering my question and she got extremely irritated, began talking over me and then hung up on me.
Their business practices are deplorable, and their customer service is unbelievably poor.

This company deserves negative stars and to be taken to court for their bait and switch tactics. Do NOT sign any agreements from this company.

Todd at Presidential moving company completely mislead me into believing a certain price would be there I was quoted $1800 to move from Austin to Denver, Colorado and then when the movers showed up to my house 3 days prior to moving my equipment and belongings, the driver quoted me $4600 dollars. That's 255% increase! As others have said, do NOT sign anything from them. Here is the information from the gentleman that completely scammed me.

I was left with moving myself and all of my belongings over 2 days, getting 6 miles to the gallon renting a uhaul box truck and car hauler across texas in the middle of no where with my dog. Please reach out to me if you decide to go with them anyways.

I requested quotes for a move from PA to MA in November. A salesman called and requested a verbal inventory of the boxes that we were moving. I told him the amount of boxes that we were anticipating that we will have. We had no furniture to move, so he guesstimated that we had 500 cubic feet of inventory. I have no idea what 500 cubic feet looks like, so I trusted him because he is the expert.
I received a call a few weeks before the move requesting another review of our inventory. I went over the inventory again with this gentleman and he stated we should up it to 900 cubic feet which increased the quote from the initial $1800 for 500 cubic feet to around $2600 for 900 cubic feet.
On pickup day the movers were 4.5 hours late. There were 3 guys (I don't know why this matters other than backing up the rest of the reviews but they were Russian) and a 27 foot rented Enterprise box truck. They did a half a** job tagging boxes as they moved the items and they were quickly throwing things in the truck with very little organization, which took up a ton of space. They came back after loading the truck and gave us a BLANK inventory list and told us that it was actually 1800 cubic feet and gave us a revised estimate of over $8,000!! When I asked about the discrepancy in the price they got a manager on the phone and the woman was incredibly RUDE to me. She spoke to me as if she was speaking to her worst enemy. When I asked about the blank inventory list the mover opened the back of the truck and said "if you want to pull all of this out and take inventory be my guest". So now we do not have record of any of our belongings that they have possession of. Finally as they were leaving they stated that they are taking our stuff to Baltimore Maryland for storage. We were initially told that our belongings were being stored in CT. Now we don't even know where our stuff is.
I called and spoke to Jessica, Anna, and Jeff several times to complain about the entire process and one said we will work on getting you a better rate to decrease the price and then they stated they would call me back. I never get a call back!! The last time I spoke to Jeff he stated he would not work with us on the price and that we would have to accept the delivery and personally conduct our own inventory list upon delivery and if we feel there is a discrepancy we would have to call their claims department and file a claim. I asked him how I was supposed to know if there is a discrepancy when I do not have an inventory list to compare to. He got very frustrated with me and kept interrupting me, so I was not getting anywhere with him. I contacted Jessica at dispatch and she stated that she will find out when they can deliver our belongings and she would call me back that day or the next. Of course I did not get a phone call so I called her and she stated that it was going to take a few days to coordinate the route. I am SOOOOO afraid that we are not going to get our belongings back from them. We have already paid them over $4,000 and we are getting nothing but the run around. I do not know if I need to call the police or what I need to do to get my belongings back. Please do not use these people!! Also if anyone has any advice on how to get my stuff back I would really appreciate some input!
