Worst Moving Company - AVOID at all cost

This company not only loaded the same amount of goods that was quoted and then demanded triple the quote or they would not deliver (in cash on the spot); picked up and delivered late, and then when my few items shipped were delivered, my most expensive furniture and items were missing. They never told me that the items were being taken from SC to a warehouse in NJ before being delivered to TX, but the items somehow never made it to the warehouse. I had 4 pieces of furniture shipped, and 2 made it. The boxes were all smashed and items damaged. After months of contact, and them telling me eventually my claim would be processed but they had 100's of others in front of me, I got an offer of $63. The value of the items they stole were over $4000. I contacted the mediation company on the signed paperwork, only to be told they no longer represent the company. I asked who to contact, and they said "the company." They should not be in business. Have moved 20 times cross country and NEVER had this experience or loss. This is a SCAM. Do not use them.

Worst company ever

Horrible experience, lost a picture that cost me over 1000 dollars, after being ignored by them, they are kind enough to send a settlement for 9.00 to replace it. They refused to follow through on the contract and put my furniture back together. I had to hire someone to fix what they destroyed. It took 2 months to get my stuff returned, wherever they held my boxes was so muggy that my boxes could not hold their shape anymore, lost alot of kitchen glass when they brought in my stuff. Made me sign a paper saying I got all my stuff BEFORE they would even open the truck. I had to sign a lie before they would provide my stuff. They were sketchy in looks with hoodies covering part of their face, and for a senior citizen, very scary experience. They have lost their license and seriously... go elsewhere.

Lost and broken items

I filled out a claim back in 8/2020 with this company, and they never responded or took responsibility for the gas drill they lost from Cincinnati, Ohio to Seattle-Kirkland- never reached out to help with the items they broke and lost, and when calling them, they make you wait for ever on the phone, if you lucky to have someone answers, they do not give you any results. Stay away from this company.

Price quote went from $5500 to $12,500

No expertise in packaging goods! No blankets or like material used! Had to throw away two new TVs / Newduning room table ruined, wood shaved off from weight ( no protection), exterior table lost metal coat ( again weight and items placed on top) / All furniture was filthy , most CA NOT be cleaned ( again plastic only / broken ) Almost ALL my goods destroyed!!

If I could give negative stars I would. This company is completely fraudulent. I was moving from NY to OK and used a broker,USMovingPro to help secure movers. They contracted with Packrite Movers. They changed the "estiamate by 2000.00 When they arrived to pick up my items, and when they arrived at the final destination "the movers were two 16 year olds they found on craiglist that morning - when i called to voice my concern about my items being moved by people that were not employed by the company I was cursed out by the owner - EXTREAMLY UNPROFESSINAL SCAM!!!! And most of my items were damaged broken or crushed.

If I could give negative stars I would. This company is completely fraudulent. I was moving from PA to AZ and used a broker, Independence van lines to help secure movers. They contracted with Packrite Movers.

Packrite was supposed to pick up my items from a storage unit in PA on 11/13/20. They showed up hours late when it was pitch dark. I was in flight to AZ to secure my new house so my sister was on site in PA to meet them. They had her so busy completing forms that she could not fully watch what they were doing. Then once everything was on the truck, they said it was way over the original binding estimate by 1395 ft. which equated to $7500 additional money. They held my items hostage so she paid half to get them on their way as she didn't know what else to do.

They said they would drive that same truck to AZ and would be there by 11/18/20. Not only did they not show but you cannot reach anyone at Packrite. You get a machine everytime and they NEVER call back. For weeks. I was completely stressed as nobody would tell me where my items were and if they would ever be delivered.

I got my first call from a different driver on 12/2/20 saying he would be there around 1pm on 12/3…

This company is deceptive and terrible

This company uses deceptive practices with move brokers who under quote to get jobs with consumers who would not choose to do business with them.

For me, they were subcontracted with Independence van lines who had decent reviews for local moves but many experiences with similar moves to mine had terrible reviews. I also filed a complaint with regarding this experience. (BBB Complaint Case# 90590225)

I scheduled a move from Massachusetts to Florida the movers were expected to arrive on Monday, they called me on a Sunday morning saying they were an hour away from pick up.

The movers required me to sign their paper work once they arrived. Unbeknownst to me this was the bill of lading they would use to screw me over despite reassuring me there was no issue & it's standard process they would not start the move until it was signed. I called the move broker company but they didn't respond.

The movers told me they would give me the price after they put the stuff in my truck. The driver advised the move would take 1 week. Again called the broker and they didn't reply.

One of the movers asked me my nationality & began laughing & talking to the other mover in their language.

Moving our stuff

After waiting 3 extra weeks for our stuff, we were informed on Saturday night the movers would be here the next day, Sunday, and we had to have cash in hand or a money order. The WORST thing was we had to pay and sign the paperwork saying we had received everything and nothing was broken - even though everything was still loaded on the truck. This is a shoddy, poorly run company. NEVER, EVER use them.

Horrible Experience - Beware!

Horrible horrible experience. Beware of this company! Never on time. We were promised three days in a row and they didn't show up. When they finally did they claimed their truck could not fit in our community (it can - 18 Wheeler's come in here all the time.). Then, they dumped our stuff at the community entrance (about 200 yards from our unit) and drove off, leaving us to figure out how to make it the final leg. Do not use this company or you will certainly be sorry.

Everything wrong from the start!

Seriously scammers! Originally booked with Alliance Storage and Moving, who rush you through getting some of your inventory and get you an estimate and tell you everything you want to hear to get you under contract. You have to track them down until 2 days before they're supposed to come to get a final inventory where they double your cost after you're already locked in and then send you over to Packrite who demolished some of our things and didn't bring back others. When you ask about a claim, or ETA of pickup and delivery too, they ignore you. Literally had to spam them with messages till I got someone that was then very rude. They will tell you anything to get you under contract then screw you completely. Then when they arrive at pickup add more onto your estimate and expect it in cash right then. Alliance told me 3-5 days Id have my stuff after the picked it up. Even the guy that picked my things up said yes 3 days is no problem. Then you don't hear from a soul for 6 days. Then that's when you're told that you're under packrite's contract and it can take 30 business days now. Its super shady! And the pick up guys were super rude and demanded a tip and started getting rough…

Never use this company they are a rip off and do not care about there customers I moved march 2020 and had all my stuff thrown on a truck for delivery at much moreprice than quoted alot of things broken and almost all boxes damaged filed complaint in april stil no response after filing the complaint form and pictures.
