The Oz movers arrived on time and I explained what / how and where things should go.The guys went with a flow that was amazing to all of are staff it was clear from the start that the Head mover knew his job and how best to get his men in position to complete the job safely and free of any damage and on time.
I must say if you mark all your items the way the guy who comes out to price the job in this case Ron tells you, you will have no problem. I will be using Oz Moving & Storage for another move in about a month.

Thanks to Brandon Kops who helped greatly to organize everything I was able to get a move scheduled and completed in a day and a half. It was complicated because the buildings from and to required insurance forms to the respective management companies. Brandon made it happen after I contacted him late the day before and got them delivered to the right people the next morning. On top of that the men who arrived later that day were quick, professional and hard workers who made magic happen. Altogether I would not hesitate to recommend OZ Moving.

Moved from Midtown to Financial district and they hustled to get us all done on time! Granted, we had a studio apartment with not as many items as some people but if you help (moving things out of way and into new place) you can save time. They move many of your boxes with rolling cart which avoids dropping and they use a huge rolling box for larger items. Nothing of mine was broken and the guys helping seemed nice! I would for sure use them again. thanks to david donen for working out all the details!

I moved from NYC to Portland, Oregon and after doing extensive research on like 10 moving companies over 2 weeks, I went with Oz because of two recommendations from friends and because they were between 35-50% less than other companies.

Their communication was stellar. They were where they were supposed to be when they said they'd be. Our stuff showed up intact, and I checked off each box, with its unique number as it came in the door.

Use Oz. trust me.

I made a local move from East Harlem to the Bronx. I was told of a 9am start time, and got a phone call at 8:45am confirming the truck's arrival. The foreman inspected my furniture beforehand and warned me that a few of my things might get damaged because they were not high quality but that he would try his best. He brought 2 other men and they wrapped up my furniture quickly. We made the move within 3 hours and all of my furniture remained intact. The movers were professional. I used Oz 2 years ago as well moving from Long Island to East Harlem and didn't have a problem then either. I would recommend their services, at least for local moves; it seems that others have had different experiences with interstate moves.

We used OZ on a recommendation and I'm so pleased that we did.
The book process was easy and flexible when I had to change the date. The movers were prompt, friendly, courteous and above all incredibly efficient. They were done before the estimated time period and moved things with more care than I would have myself. They made sure to ask me if I minded them stopping for coffee and were just generally pleasant. They did a fantastic job and they made a very stressful day far less so. I was more than happy to give a generous tip, especially since the cost was so reasonable to begin with. I can't thank them enough and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to move.

My family of 4 moved to a new apartment in the same neighborhood very last minute. Oz was quick to respond and first to come to our home to give us a move estimate. Their price for packing and moving was quite fair and less expensive than the neighborhood competing moving companies. The crew that came was very friendly and they worked very hard and meticulously. We haven't finished completely unpacking (almost 2 weeks later) but so far everything we have unboxed arrived and in good condition. I definitely recommend Oz for packing and moving.

My wife and I just had an excellent experience with the movers from Oz Moving & Storage! The four gentlemen that we had the pleasure of working with were very professional and pleasant.

Our pickup location was a 4th floor walk-up! And, we needed items to be dropped off at a storage facility prior to the final stop. There was not one complaint from anyone! For every item they brought to their truck they asked which location the item(s) was going to.

They disassembled and reassembled any large furniture. They handled every item with care. And.. They worked super fast!!

Overall.. Extremely satisfied. Highly recommended. Would definitely used again!!

Used Oz in the past for moves within New York City and have always been impressed by their professionalism and alacrity. This move was from New York City to Nashville. From the get go, Jennifer was quick to respond and provided me with a reasonable estimate and explanation of what my long distance move entailed. Ahmed and his crew did an outstanding job in NYC. Gil and Ken finished the job professionally, courteously and efficiently in Nashville. Kudos to everyone who was part of my move. You made it stress free and painless! I will continue to recommend Oz now and in the future.

I am very surprised at the poor reviews I see regarding Oz Moving & Storage. I just moved last week and it went flawlessly. This would be my THIRD TIME using Oz in a span of 4 years. Each and every time my move was stress-free, thanks to the amazing guys that helped me in so many ways. They packed for me, disassembled, reassembled, positioned furniture and more.
They were professional, understanding and most of all stuck to the time frame & budget. As a single mother of two, I appreciated how they met all of my needs. Moving in general is alot of work and these guys know what they are doing. If and when I have to move again in the future, I know who I'm calling.

I had used Oz once before when moving my office so I was confident things would go well for my residential move. Things went very well. My crew worked quickly and efficiently. Everything they packed for me was carefully labeled and it's made unpacking much easier. My furniture wasn't in the best shape but they moved all of it with no problems. I lived in a fourth floor walk up and they handled those stairs like athletes. We finished hours ahead of schedule. In addition to being skilled, the crew was friendly, kind and thoughtful. Emilio was especially organized and helpful. He made me very comfortable with the usually uncomfortable process of moving. I don't think the move could have gone better than it did. I would recommend Oz without reservation.
