I was moving from Washington to California. Service was fantastic with the salesman up until I paid my first deposit which is when the move turned into a sort of horror story. Their business model is extremely shady, they hire a bunch of randos from craigslist to pack your stuff and they will steal and mishandle your stuff, stay away!

* My pick up date was so late we were done packing at 2:00AM
* Estimates were doubled relative to what we agreed to, try arguing at 2:00AM while your whole life is their truck
* Drop off was a week late so had to sleep on the floor without furniture
* Before drop off, mover insisted on an extra fee or else refused to drop off my stuff
* Did not assemble my stuff even though I had for that service
* My TV and surround system were stolen. Was promised money back by the owner Josh but he's ghosted me after I've sent him more than 4 reminders
* My car had tire marks all over it on arrival, no idea how they handled it
* Moving truck ran into my neighbors motorcyle and then just fled the crime scene.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4000

This was the worst move of my life. The movers dropped and damaged so many things. My favorite table is in pieces, a brand-new dining chair broken, many other pieces of furniture show signs of being dropped or dragged. I personally saw the movers dump dolly-loads of boxes into the street twice during the move-out. They banged the dolly down the stairs, hitting every step with full force. They scraped and damaged the walls of my new apartment building, which I am now paying for. A box of canned goods arrived with all the cans dented! How does something like that happen? The box was not only dropped, but tumbled. I knew I wasn’t going to be able to be there for the delivery, so I took some extra steps: Believing their advertising that they cared about where to put the sofa even if it took five times, I color-coded each box, each piece of furniture, so they could be placed in the correct room. The boxes were thrown all over the place, with no care whatsoever. I know I have no recourse for the damage because I couldn’t afford the extra insurance. My bill came in at $1,200 more than the estimate, partially because of my error, but largely because of their policy to consider all small boxes to be 1.5 cu ft. When I have 40 boxes of books packed in 1 cu ft boxes, plus another 35 boxes less than 1 cu ft, I’m suddenly being charged for 50+ cu ft more than expected. The truth is I wasn’t charged per cu ft, but by box count. The salesman said he’d take off one flight of stairs. He didn’t write it down, the mover wouldn’t give it to me. Everything involving New Beginnings was a disaster. I would have done better with a couple of high school boys and a pickup truck. As I have no financial recourse, I will be sure to post reviews everywhere I can.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6179

DO NOT USE this company! I bought packing boxes from Home Depot and uhaul medium size and I was told when they came to pick
up the shipment that they were large boxes and it cost more money. They broke a table leg, cut my mattress and fire table cover using
a box cutter not to mention 2 pieces of furniture that didn’t make it to delivery. I have been waiting over a week to have someone call me back about that. They are supposed to reassemble anything they disssemble, they did not put my beds together since they didn’t have the tools. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

Nightmare experience. Horrible. I have to write a review because the experience was so poor. Over charged, 5 hours late, lost items and then demanded more money. Long story short, they charge a deposit which should get credited to the total hourly bill. Instead, they showed up 5 hours late, making every excuse in the book rather than just owning up to the fact that they made a scheduling error on their end (saying they have me for Sat 5/31, when 5/31 is on a Friday, my moving day, when I am left waiting). The movers themselves were friendly, but lost many items in transit, and then demanded the full payment in cash without deducting the deposit I had given. No discount for being late. No discount for lost items. And would not provide cash receipt so that I could maintain records and possibly dispute.
After calling the office and trying to file a complaint and hopeful recovery of horrible service, I was given the run around with no conclusion. Thus, just a horrible service. DO NOT USE.

Move size: Studio Service cost: $650

I work at the uhaul they have stolen trucks from.. They claim to be a moving company but are not!! They steal trucks from uhaul with peoples stuff and run!! They are in fact tweekers and do not believe any of their names.. They have multi ID and they find people off Craigslist to do their move .. This is a ringer.. We are located in Wa state and its sad to see them use people like them.. We caught the real guy named Afir Savariego AKA Josh!! Also goes by Ofir.. Tina webster watch for her as well and Louis.. BAD BAD PEOPLE!! They use trucks from Cali, ore, ID and WA.
