I wouldn't go near this company again and would strongly recommend that no one else does. Initial service was great, professional and reassuring, we were told all items are protected, TV were put into protective bags and that the greatest of care was taken. After that it went down hill. Nothing was protected, when we asked why the guys doing the work said they never do, our 2 year old leather sofa was dropped and damaged suffering three gouges out of it, our 1 year old washing machine suffered three large dents and scratches. This was photographed by the removal guys who admitted they had dropped the sofa blaming the young guy who was helping them and said the damage to the washing machine was where they had stacked it in the van. We were told the office would call us the same day. No one bothered, a call to them and a very abrupt "did you read the small print?" Followed by a "you should of taken out insurance" we were offered £40 back as compensation. See you in the small claims court movecorp.

This is the worst company ever in my life which is pathetic both in terms of the service & staff.

My shipment was kept in storage for 4 months in UK before it was delivered to Zurich. Every time they would come up with a new excuse of not delivering it on the agreed date. My contact person Chloe & Catherine were extremely unprofessional and rude. They would never call/write back and are impulsive liars. At times they would like to play good cop/bad cop with us, thinking everyone besides them are fools.

Chloe emailed that we need to pay extra port charges before they would arrange a delivery date. The charges were not invoiced and there was no evidence. The email stated below
"Unfortunately there is a port fee outstanding on the goods which totals £100.80. The charge is due to a random customs inspection which has also resulted in the container incurring demurrage and quay rent whilst undergoing the inspection conducted on the container. The inspection is carried out based on a random selection process which I’m afraid, we have no control over. Kindly note that this charge must be paid prior to arranging your delivery. "

The delivery staff came two days late as to their promise and we just got an hour notice before they arrived. The staff was aggressive and overworked. They literally threw our staff here and there (resulting in huge damages). When we asked them to unpack and assemble the basic furniture (as per our agreement), they said we do not do it and they do not know who is Cloe. When we refused to sign the delivery receipt, the staff started shouting and abusing us in front of our kids and rushed away from the scene. My family felt extremely frightened and embarrassed as the neighbors heard them loud and clear.

I will strongly recommend, please avoid this company for the safety of your good and your family.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and would recommend to all NOT to use movecorp! The move was from France to United States for my sixteen years old daugther belongings was crushed and destroyed, they collected 10 sealed boxes of her belongings and they delivered only 8 all opened boxes (crushed, broken, and destroyed ) Which I had to pay extra once it reached the States. Everything that was of value was missing, the response from movecorp was it was our fault we didn't take insurance, I am really SAD and FRUSTRATED with how INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL movecorp have treated us. We paid close to €800.00 plus close to $60.00 to get the boxes delivered. It was not cheap and they didn't help to recover her belongings. We regret using such RUDE, HORRIBLE, INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL movecorp!!

All these 5 star reviews have to be fake. Notice how everybody is so very delighted with their service that they just have to get online and praise MoveCorp with superlative after superlative. From my experience, good service generally passes without comment whereas bad service gets slated. Notice also that reviews are either 5 stars or 1 star, nothing in between, again leading me to suspect that the 5 stars are fake, especially when you take a look at the website Ripoff Report which details a rather different analysis of MoveCorp, one which reflects my experiences with them: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/directory/movecorp . From collecting our property to delivery the standard of service was disgusting, we were advised that the boxes we packed had to be repacked by them at a cost or we had to sign a disclaimer, (we had moved to temporary accommodation and the previous removal company had no problem we had never unpacked). our goods arrived damaged a dining table only had "one" leg and other larger items were damaged beyond repair, we were informed it was our fault as WE did not pack them correctly! they actually packed the larger items.
we had been advised by the company to take out insurance to cover damages then have had to fight for 4 months to get any compensation and had to pay both ours and Movecorps excess on the insurance and received nothing near the value of the goods, I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone there was no respect shown to our goods or ourselves. moving is a stressful time without having neglect from the removal company!!
